Our hosts were very kind and welcoming and we enjoyed spending time with them before they left. All the animals were very sweet, very loving (especially Miaow ❤️) and pretty easy to care for. Lily the puppy wasn’t fully house trained and was very talented at getting into mischief so we had to be super vigilant about leaving things around and willing to clean up her (sometimes impressive!) mess. Walking the dogs was DEFINITELY a 2 person job and could sometimes be quite stressful when we encountered packs of street dogs, but we soon learned where they hung out and mostly managed to avoid them. We stayed outside of tourist season so the beach was pretty messy and all the restaurants were closed but we feel like we got a genuine ‘Albanian experience’, living in the village for 3 weeks, meeting and chatting with the locals and learning about the way of life there.
First of all, Gala and her partner are generous, loving and easy to talk to. Their home is very cosy and has everything you'll ever need. Holyrood park is very close, so you you can enjoy many magical walks. I thoroughly enjoyed taking care of Bidibidi and Bombom! They are such sweet company. They are very different from one another and complement each other perfectly. One calm, loving and soft, the other clingy and curious. They can take all the love you can give them, especially Bidibidi. It was such a pleasure working while they were around. Highly recommend the experience! A+++
Andrew and Louise were so welcoming and friendly. They kindly had made us a vegetarian shepherds pie, which was absolutely delicious, and left us with various bottles of wine and bits and pieces of food. The house was lovely and had everything we would need for our stay. It is located in a very quiet, friendly town which is close to many beautiful coastal walks. The location is great for exploring Cornwall. Nancy is such a delight. She loves to play, walk and have a cuddle. We loved looking after her! We had great communication with Andrew and Louise before, during and after the stay and would highly recommend this stay to anyone! Thank you again for having us! Cassie & Tiana xx
So happy that I got to pet sitting for Eszter and Alex! They are such a kind hearted and considerate couple ;) definitely would love to meet them again and get to know each other more. Atlas is an amazing amstaff, had a great time full of cuddles 🥰, long walks and hikes in the forests of Göteborg. I was so lucky to meet him while he is still a puppy. It was such a pleasure to watch him learn new things and strengthen some old tricks ;) also managed to meet his many play buddies! 11/10 😁
Nicola and Chris are great hosts and kindness people. I stayed with them for 5 days before my pet-sitting time and they could show me the house, the customs and routines, where the vet was, etc. The mummy-cat (Zinadine) is quiet, calm and relaxed but she likes cuddles, especially behind the ears. The kitten (Didier) was recently neutered, and the day after the operation, he already had energy for everything. He is very playful, energetic and cheerful. Both of them are easy to deal with and to fall in love with them. The house is big and cozy, and bedroom is very confortable because everything is provided in it: private bathroom and a little kitchen. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe (in zone 2 of London). It has a bus stop in the same street (2 min walking) and it takes you to the tube station, where all the shops, restaurants, tube and train stations are. (If you don't take the bus, it's 15 min walking from their house). It's my first experience as a pet-sitter in THS and thanks to Didier and Zidadine (and Nicola and Chris too), is was gratifying. I recommend any experience with them and I hope we can meet next time.
I had such a nice time looking after Pixel! She is very sweet and friendly. She's an affectionate and easy going dog that loves to cuddle up on the couch next to you. Cat and Kemal were really great to deal with - good communication and very responsive. Their flat is beautifully light and spacious - right in the heart of one of the best suburbs in Berlin, Neukolln. I'd recommend this sit to anyone!
