We enjoyed our first pet sitting experience in lovely Wheal House in Carbis Bay. Clean and comfortable accommodation and Margaret and Derek had compiled a comprehensive dossier with everything we needed to know. Ozzie is a treasure and was quite happy with his new carers (as long as you didn’t forget his odd “treat”!). Izzy the cat was typically independent but reminded us when it was feed time. Lovely walks on the beach and the countryside on the doorstep. St Ives is a charming town with lots of interesting places to visit. All in all, a lovely experience.
A dream house sit! Lara is a wonderful communicator & super thoughtful. Daisy & Wilson are adorable, loving & a dream to spend time with. I felt very lucky being able to spend a few days in Lara & Andrew’s gorgeous home, with Daisy & Wilson giving me plenty of cuddles.
This review is written for the sitters’ community. We feel it is important to be honest and professional in order to provide helpful information regardless of ratings. We have had numerous pet sits, each with their own challenges, but have always worked to provide the best care of pets and their homes in each situation. We have felt fortunate to meet so many kind and caring owners. However, in this case, we felt overwhelmed with unmanageable living conditions and care of a very sick pet. This was not what was represented in the ad or online during our meeting, and we therefore had to make the difficult decision to cancel the sit after 24 hours of our best efforts. Unfortunately, the dogs (both very sweet) had been allowed to pee in the house, so although we tried, no amount of cleaning or vacuuming could remove the smells Sleeping was the next problem. We needed to keep the window wide open in order to have some fresh air, but our room was located right next to the road and the traffic noise was so loud that we simply could not sleep. There are too many issues to list including unreasonable house rules posted throughout the house such as how often the toilet could be used. We could never have imagined taking such a drastic step but at some point you must consider yourself too. We regret the inconvenience we caused the homeowner and appreciated her agreement to return so that we could leave.
“Animals are such agreeable friends. They ask no questions; they pass no criticisms.” — George Eliot What an absolutely extraordinary experience staying in Deepa’s charming Croton-on-Hudson home. Deepa and Eric are exceedingly wonderful people, and awesomely accommodating. The dogs, Lylah and Austin, do what dogs do best: love and frolic and cuddle. They are both so sweet and adorably affectionate. The cats — Olivia, Penny, Jack, Clive, Logan and Walter — fill the beautiful and sun-drenched home with character and charisma. Honestly the first two days following our sit at Deepa’s were kind of sad. Every room without a cat now seems a bit lonely to me. We would be thrilled to come again! If you snag a sit at Deepa's, consider yourself very lucky!
The best of Minneapolis, right outside your front door! Lynn and Marc are generous and gracious owners. Communication was top-notch throughout. I was welcomed with a full tour of their beautiful home and a gift basket. I arrived one day early and had my choice of guest rooms. The location of this housesit cannot be beat. The neighborhood is highly walkable and bikeable. For example, I walked with Lucy and Beau to nearby Lake Harriet every day. It has two paved paths; one for bikes and one for people and pets, and you can rent canoes and kayaks there. Great views in every direction! Beau is young and can occasionally react to some dogs, but nothing crazy. He is a sweet dog, and for his young age, surprisingly mellow and extremely endearing. Lucy is older and goes with the flow on walks. She likes to seek out doggie treats that you can hide around the house to work her nose and mind. They are a great combo. I was especially impressed with how Lucy and Beau quickly settle in at outdoor patios when visiting coffee shops and restaurants. We also took a few road trips together. The dogs travel really well. I recommend this sit and would be happy to return at some point in the future.
Holly and her pets were really awesome. We really enjoyed our stay in Sunriver, and all her pets were a treat and easy to take care of. Juney was a bit shy at first, but quickly came around. Stella bonded with us the moment we got there. Communication with Holly was really clear and she was really flexible with us, which we really appreciated. The house was really clean and comfortable. We would definitely come and sit again!

We have been with All Under One Woof now for 19 years (since it opened) and have never regretted a day!! Our first 2 Labs went together for almost 14 years and our newest has just celebrated 4 years. I can honestly say that all 3 of them certainly preferred their daycare days over any other and would have their bags packed the night before when they knew they were spending a few nights at The Woof. You won't find anyone better than Susan that knows dogs and treats them like family, just like she does the dog owners. If you are looking for a trusting and loving place to take your dog to play or stay, you could not find a better place. Thanks for all you and your staff do for our pets and we look forward to many more years (as does Fran)!
My four year old Australian Shepherd has been going to All Under One Woof for three and a half years and we absolutely LOVE IT. She is a fantastic dog because of Susan and her staff!!!! Susan is a dog whisperer, she interviews all new dos so you know your dog will be safe. Annie just loves Page, Sami and Susan so much all three are so loving and caring to all the dogs. Every morning when I drop off Annie she can't wait to get there and she always gets greeting is hugs a love. I always know that she is going to have a fun and safe day. Susan, Page and Sami are like family!! We love them.
Susan and her staff are always going above and beyond for our dog. The place is always clean, smells clean and is always so welcoming. Our dog loves AUOW! We also love the nail cutting service so much so that we dont get our dogs nails cut at his groomer. See ya tomorrow ! Thank you for all that you do each and everyday!
Apparently one of our sons went to pick up our pup and did not put him on a leash -- which was a failure on our son's part. Instead of the owner, Susan, recognizing that it was a child who probably forgot she decided to get angry tell me that it was intentional and that I should quote "be a man". So if you enjoy working with a business that verbally assaults its customers I highly recommend!
We absolutely love All Under One Woof. It’s the best daycare I’ve found anywhere but especially in Oakland County.
Our labradoodle Henry loves AUOW and we do too! Dog loving staff and all day play for the pups. He's usually conked out for the rest of the night after spending the day there.
Our pups are part of our family, and we are so glad that we found All Under One Woof to take care of them. We have frequently used the Doggy Day Care for our pups with socializing and exercise (and to give us a break). We also have used their overnight services leaving our pups in their care while we were out of town. They do an awesome job here!
Our family loves All Under One Woof! Our dog loves to kennel there and go to daycare (as evidenced by his wagging tail which propels him thorough their door every time!) It is clean, upbeat and very evident that everyone that works there is knowledgeable, friendly and loves working with dogs. The owner is passionate about her canine crew and goes above and beyond to keep their tails wagging!
Never even stepped foot in the door. I scheduled an evaluation for my dog to attend daycare here - they cancelled last minute while I was on vacation and after I had already made arrangements with work. They cancelled via voicemail informing me they absolutely will not do an evaluation on a Friday - only Tuesday or Thursday between 11-1, this appointment had been scheduled two weeks prior at the time of cancelation. I can't speak for everyone, but if I could attend an evaluation appointment on a Tuesday or a Thursday during those hours, I most likely would not be seeking daycare for my dog throughout the week. Additionally, I was informed, also via voicemail, that my 5 month old Golden retriever was not allowed to attend daycare because she is too close to the 7 month cut off of which they require animals to be spayed or neutered. I find this absolutely ridiculous considering I told the first person I spoke with when I scheduled the evaluation, I would be more than happy to have her spayed before she turned 7 months old and that I already planned to do so. Maybe you'll take your dog here and it will be great - or maybe they'll notify you of an issue by leaving you a long winded voicemail. Either way their customer service sucks and I wouldn't bother.
My pup come home exhausted after a day at daycare. I love how they know each dog and let us know who she played with when we pick her up. Highly recommend!
