We really enjoyed our time here. It’s less than a mile from Shipston’s village center which has some great little shops for groceries, coffee, pub etc… The dogs are good fun and very easy to look after… The walk up the hill has some beautiful views over the Cotswold countryside… Catherine was really kind and welcoming! Robert and Deidre were very welcoming and generous and were very easy to communicate with. Laci is very calm and such a sweetie who loves her belly rubs. Theo is a ball of energy that hardly stops. Both do tend to get a little jealous of the other if you're giving affection or playing ball but always settle down for a quiet evening. The house is in a quiet neighborhood close to parks and walking trails. Three grocery stores are in walking distance and the bus is less than a 5 minute walk away.
My time with Sissy was only one night. She seemed unsure of me as she spent most of the time hiding under the bed. I did get to pet her a little in the morning. Nicole's home is a most calming space. I felt like I was in a spa. Inside is decorated so beautifully, and the outside views are beyond fabulous. Nicole was very easy to communicate with and reassuring when Sissy hid.
This was one of my favorite house sits. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with two very special cats, Jake and Zephyr, with different yet lovable personalities. Jake is super affectionate and will gladly spend lots of time on your lap or next to your pillow while you sleep. Zephyr is more independent, but will come to your lap at least once a day. Both enjoy spending time outside in the yard and Zephyr likes his high perch on the catio. They were great company for 4 wintery days in late December. The house was cozy with a modern kitchen and guest quarters downstairs. Myra and Elaine, the pet parents, were friendly and very appreciative of my service.
I can’t help but smile when I think about this house sit. Talk about a relaxing stay. Omeed and his wife Natalie are just the kindest people. They thought about so much prior to looking for pet sitters that their home is wonderfully prepped for guests. They offer a laid back experience in a spacious, warm and loving home that comes with precious doggies. I couldn’t have asked for more, and the dogs are sweethearts. The dogs, Dinah and Lucy, are so easy to care for. They love cuddling up in blankets beside you, going on walks, and they do these super cute spins when you’re lowering their food bowls to the ground. From playtime to afternoon naps, they’re just cuties. I highly recommend this sit. Thank you for the nice stay, Omeed & Natalie!
Amy is an excellent communicator who ensured that I was comfortable with taking care of Goose and her home before I arrived. Goose is an independent lovable 3 year old who enjoys time in the back and front yard on the lead. Goose is very strongwilled and requires an extremely strong hand when walking her. I walked her once during my stay but her with her long lead she got much needed exercise in the yard. She also loves bellyrubs, and lounging in her favorite chairs. The neighbors are pleasant, Snoqualmie falls and other attractions are a quick drive away, as well as restaurants, grocery stores, etc. I enjoyed time spent at Amy's and would sit again should our schedules aligns.
