Lynn and Dave were exceptional hosts and I would absolutely recommend this awe-inspiring Fort Meyers sit to others! Lynn graciously picked me up at my bus and made sure I had my essential survival staples as soon as I arrived, making my transition into her Better home and garden so easy, welcoming and abundant. We had plenty of time for a thorough orientation to her large, endearing cat tribe and master's garden over a delicious, leisurely supper before she left. With so many herbs, plants and love-shining kitties always hard at serious work, sleep and play, I was never bored between chores, housesitting and exploration of the wide world of Fort Meyers. The gorgeous cats all got along harmoniously and the little Void kittens filled my heart with Infinite joy. Dave made sure I had good air in the bike he let me use which let me explore so many unique, historical neighborhoods and attractions; there was plenty of nice lawn furniture to enjoy the beautiful gardens, a firepit, and even an outdoor patio fan. I can't say enough good things since there is a whole chapter of Florida Room fun, food and thought devoted to this Palm Beach Boulevard jewel. But of course, a thousand gratias to a wonderful exchange for which I am Most Grateful!
Harry and I had the most wonderful time house sitting in this sweetest olive grove house in Greece. Tilly and Chrissa, the adorable resident pets, were such characters and absolute angels and iPod, after a few tummy rubs, became our best buddy. The house was cozy and the perfect place to relax, and unwind. Kate was fantastic with her communication, making everything smooth and easy. We couldn’t have hoped for a better place with better pets in a better location. Thank you, Kate, Tilly, Chrissa, and iPod, for an unforgettable stay!
It was an absolute pleasure taking care of Steve and Jeanette's sweet dog Bella. She is such a loving and well-behaved dog. During my time as her sitter, I made sure to take her out for walks and let her have fun playing in nature. Their house was not only comfortable but also beautifully decorated. Communicating with the owners was a breeze, and they were so easy to work with. I am delighted to have made new friends in Steve and Jeanette. We had a great sit with Sarah and all her fur, feather, and scale babies! It was my first time taking care of ducks and a bearded dragon, but it was actually pretty easy once you got the hang of it. All the animals are on a good schedule which made it very predictable and I had fun. The dogs are awesome, and I’m already missing Brad. Thank you Sarah and family for welcoming me into your home and trusting me with your pets!
Had a lovely time in Sheffield, the house was beautiful, tidy and welcoming. Tom was available if I had any questions. Edie is a dream, such a sweet cat. I gave all the pets and brushes she wanted and I got a sofa companion for the day. Would happily sit again.
