Lauren set my mind at ease from our very first conversation. She asked great questions, she was willing to meet me prior to the sit, and since she was a dog owner, I had complete confidence in her care. Lauren kept me posted every day and provided great updates. Her communication was fantastic, and she left my house sparkling clean! My pup had a great time, and I would use Lauren again!

We had a wonderful time staying in New Brunswick. Lisa and Doug were very friendly and easy to contact when we had a questions. The space is comfortable and serene, with a lovely sunroom and garden. Sasha, their cat, was so curious and playful. For the first couple of days she does her own thing and lays around on her favorite sofas, but after she gets to know you more, she may become your shadow. She likes to be wherever you are, on a cozy chair, or laying in the sunlight. She will let you know when she wants to go outside, get a couple treats and be fed. She was easy to care for and even easier to love. The area is also great for exploring. The house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, right down the road from downtown New Brunswick. You can drive 5 minutes to the train station and all the shops and eateries on George St. There are many walks in the parks on either side of the Raritan River, and you can drive to the coast within 30 minutes. Also, there is a thriving Asian community in Edison with a lot of authentic restaurants and markets full of exciting items. It's worth checking out. We loved everything about this sit and would definitely do it again!

Staying at Karen’s with Stinson and the kitties was amazing. They treated me just like family and made me feel right at home. The animals were a piece of cake. So loving and sweet. I loved being able to snuggle them all! Also, Santa Barbara is my new favorite Cali town. Highly recommend sitting for them!

It was our first housesitting using the platform and it was an amazing experience.
The house is very nice and spacious with a lovely garden area.
Harvey is such a smart and sweet boy. He’s very well trained. It was so nice to walk and spend time with him.
Chino was always around wanting some cuddles. Coco is very shy but warms up a little bit with time.
The neighbourhood is also very good with a big supermarket nearby.
Amanda and the whole family are amazing, very welcoming and made us feel at home.

This was ZuZu's (and Keri & Randy's) first THS pet sit, and it was a great one! ZuZu is the sweetest GR. She follows the generic traits of the breed amazingly closely, but then adds dashes of ZuZu-ness to the mix. She LOVES: swimming and will swim in the pool all day if you let her; fetching her rubber rocks and frisbees; sniffing all of the "news" as we take our daily walks; cuddling on the couch as you watch a movie; and having her coat brushed a few times a day :). She's very well behaved, and barked only once in the six days I was there. (She peeked one of the neighbors watering his plants :)
Keri and Randy are wonderful and kind hosts, and prepared the house very well for me to sit for ZuZu and to enjoy the lovely home they have built (full tour, safety features, gym, etc.). They made sure that I had all of the groceries that I needed and were so kind to leave me with a gift that I'm sure I will use for years to come. Our communication was great, and they were responsive to any questions or issues that came up, and they provided great recommendations of things to do in the area.
Needles to say, if invited back, I'd sit for ZuZu again!

This sit was so wonderful, we never wanted it to end. Mellow, loveable, and well trained, Jake the retriever melted my heart at first sight when he greeted me with a mouth full of toys to show me at the door. A well mannered gentleman, his heart is as golden as his luxurious fur!

Lisa and her family are the greatest. Warm, kind, flexible, gracious, and communicative, they went above and beyond to help us feel at home.

Their house is not only gorgeous, but well organized, clean, and peaceful. The room we stayed in was quiet and dark with a comfy mattress big enough to fit a couple. We enjoyed a wonderful night's rest.

The neighborhood is idyllic - full of fairytale forests and duck ponds that provide endless puppy adventures. You can easily make friends with other dogs and neighbors on the evening stroll.

It is walkable to a train stop with a quick shot to London. But we had everything we needed - groceries, pub, haircuts - in a mile walking radius. Our favorite spots we found were The King's Head and Miller & Carter for happy hour. But the house was so lovely, we had the most fun relaxing at home.

Anyone who wins the THS lottery and gets to sit for Lisa and her family should count themselves lucky indeed. Not only would we do this sit again in a heartbeat, we would be a full time pet nanny for them if we could.

Andie
Andie is lovely and so is her son. I stayed at their home for about a month where I had the opportunity to learn about tending fruits and vegetables and caring for hens as well as her 3 beautiful cats.

I grew very fond of all of the animals and loved spending time in her garden. Andie is generous and told me to help myself to her food and to eat the produce from the garden.

The home is clean and very cosy with an amazing array of books on many subjects which Andie said I was welcome to read. The kitchen is well equipped for those who like to cook.

The home is surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Teesdale so walkers would really enjoy it there. It is on the outskirts of a village; a supermarket, cafes, restaurants and other shops are within walking distance.

Andie was very supportive and understanding whenever I did have any worries or difficulties and kept in contact by text and phone. The only experiences to make a potential sitter aware of is that the cats will ask to go out in the early hours of the morning, I didn't find this a problem though. Also, the garden hadn't been been hen proofed at that time, so it was quite tricky for one person to keep the hens off the raised beds, but Andie does intend to do this.

I don't know how she does everything she does as a single, working mum, she must have oodles of energy.

Thank you Andie for entrusting me with your furry and feathered friends, your home and your plants.
