Derek was very responsive to my inquiry and flexible about the time I arrive and leave the house. The house itself is lovely and decorated with all the cool arts. Kaylee is such a sweet, gentle soul. I also have the fortune to interact with one of their cats, otherwise you probably will not see them often as they mind their own business and hide away. The area is about 20 min drive to Laguna beach and Newport. I highly recommend them!
We had a lovely time at Deb and Bob's home with Nancy! Deb and Bob were incredibly welcoming and friendly, helping us with a lift both when we arrived and when we left, and making us feel right at home. When there was an unexpected issue with the hot water, despite their being away on holiday, they attended to it right away. Nancy was very easy to take care of. She is super soft and cute, especially when she wants a belly rub! She often keeps to herself but we knew ahead of time that this would be the case and enjoyed her company when she chose to be with us. :) We would be happy to be back again!
Kelsey and Ben are very nice people and their home was clean, comfortable and centrally located. The instructions were comprehensive so no guessing and they encouraged questions and didn’t mind texting. Taiyo was very lovable and a great companion and Ame was a beauty.
We had an amazing time hanging out with Tinks, Jay and Jonathon. Jonathon made us feel right at home and even accommodated our schedule by letting us stay a couple of extra days. He took great care of us from beginning to end and we would happily go back another time if given the opportunity. Tinks is a high energy sweetheart. Great for taking off leash on long walks on the many trails. She zig zags ahead and will circle back to check in on you every couple of minutes. When you're home, she likes lots of attention and is very interactive. She loves to be picked up and held. At night, she'll curl up under the covers with you and sleep right through. We loved her company. There are great hikes in the area with amazing views. It's a beautiful home, stunning location with friendly neighbours, nice pubs and even a little shop directly next door. Everything we needed.
Cindy notified us that the sit would not include her two cats, since she was taking them with her on a camping trip. Our only responsibility was to care for her outdoor plants. She provided clear instructions regarding watering and showed us around her property. She provided dinner upon arrival and told us about the rodeo taking place in nearby Ponoka. Cindy provided great communication and the short stay was comfortable.
My stay with Maurice was so pleasant and memorable. He is a such a loving and affectionate cat, and stayed pretty much by my side the entire time. He’s also surprising quite communicative, letting me know when he was hungry or needed a belly or head rub. Overall, he was fantastic company and very easy to care for. The apartment looks like the pictures: historic, spacious, bright, full of art, and well-designed. Location couldn’t be better: close to public transportation and the city center, a short walk into a number of parks, and situated in a charming neighborhood with great eateries and the best ice cream in the city. Mira was very responsive and left clear guidance on the housesit. One of my favorite sits and I’m so grateful to have experienced life in Stuttgart with Maurice.
