Bella is the sweetest, calmest, most snuggly and loving dog we have ever met. She was an absolute dream to look after - loose lead walking, not demanding in any way, happy to hike and happy to snuggle on the couch and absolutely stole our hearts. Leora’s place is excellent - walking distance to the main street of GB with all the coffee shops, restaurants and bars and there are oodles of off-leash trails around the house where Bella can happily run around. Leora’s communication was excellent and she was really accommodating. We already miss Bella and would jump at the chance to look after her again if we are ever in the area!
My two weeks sitting for Lindsey were a gift. I feel very lucky that I was able to care for such a variety of amazing animals and a chance to develop bonds. I especially loved my extended time with Hero, Titus, Copper and Ringo. The number of animals, the size of the property and its greenhouses and gardens (which may need watering depending on weather) mean there’s a good deal of work, and the sit requires some physical strength. But I loved the time I spent learning to care for the farm’s many fascinating inhabitants. The house is lovely and the gardens stunning and serene. Hosts Lindsey and Howard are warm, interesting and welcoming. I’m very grateful to them for their trust in me and their long-distance support during England’s record-breaking heat. Thank you both — it was an honor to spend time with these beautiful creatures.
Sonja and James' has a beautiful home up high in the lush forests of Los Gatos. It was lovely to watch birds, wildlife every day. The cat Pokie is an affectionate little cat who is a joy to be around. The neighbourhood is so friendly and warm. Loved the experience, thank you for having me!
