Note We had a wonderful time house sitting for Felicity and Matt, in their gorgeous home in Cheshire. We were made very welcome and stayed in their beautiful air B&B accommodation next to the main house, which was super comfortable and had everything we needed. This worked really well for us as it gave us our own space and then we used the big kitchen in the main house to cook our meals and sit in front of the log fire to relax in the evenings. Their pet family were very easy to look after. The dogs, Snoopy and Flash, are two lovely dogs that were very easy to care for and two great characters. We loved taking them for walks across the fields behind the house and into Delamere forest which is very close. We could also take them with us into cafes, as they were both very well behaved. Thorney the cat loved cuddles and was easy to care for too. The pig, sheep and chickens only needed checking each day for food and water, so very easy to look after and we had free range eggs to look forward to for breakfast. We would highly recommend this house sit as it is in a beautiful location, lovely accommodation with two darling doggies and an easy to care for extended pet family. Thank you Felicity and Matt for making us feel so welcome.
This sit was as near perfect as they get. Correction... this sit was perfect! Where to start?? Maybe the reason we were there is a good place. Chip, Stella, Nacho and Tango were ALL adorable, well behaved and an absolute dream to care for. We were made well aware of their little quirks and such, but in all honesty we found them as well behaved as any pets we have cared for. Anyone getting the chance for a future sit with this furry foursome, be prepared for a lot of cuddle time:) Next up, what a home! Was such a pleasure to meet with Carolyn and Andy in advance and get a tour of their stunning home. We've travelled throughout Europe and North America staying in some of the most amazing homes imaginable, and this one equals all of them. Definite dream home! And the views and outdoor living areas were the BEST! Lounging in the pool in +30 weather was a BONUS. All that said, this sit get every thumb up that is possible to give. Great people, pets and home! Thanks Carolyn and Andy! Look forward to seeing you all again. Hint... start thinking of your next holiday:) Marc and Sherrie
