Dog Sitters in Ocean View, VA

Thank you so much for staying here with Ms. Toula. We apologize for our later-than-expected arrival last night. We so appreciate your flexibility. The house looks great and Toula, although very glad to see me last night, was very relaxed and happy.

Tara did a great job, both Bailey and Duke enjoyed her visit, and she did a terrific job keeping me informed (pictures and text) on how they were doing. She was very reliable, and I highly recommend her.

Tracy arrived promptly and provided good care for my dog. She was attentive to him and he seemed in good shape when I got home.

Amy and Joey are wonderful! They are dog people and have extensive experience caring for dogs of all sizes. We have two elderly dogs and Dee requires assistance in getting up, much of the time. Amy and Joey were very attentive, kind, gentle, and loving with our old pups. We so appreciated their loving spirit. It was also wonderful to come home to a beautifully clean and tidy house. Amy and Joey are great people and we recommend them whole heatedly.

Jon and Freda are the most kind and caring people we have ever met. Our dogs Sandi and Lucy were treated more special than anyone could imagine. They became a part of their family with lots of attention and tender loving care. Both dogs were spoiled and enjoyed ventures to Tractor Supply, Petsmart and Home Depot and even rides around the local lakes. Lucy received a special new cuddly bed on one trip. Our pups were more than well cared for as was obvious by Jon and Freda’s attention to detail making them feel well loved. They very quickly learned their personalities and were great about communicating with questions or concerns to ensure that the best possible care was given. We received pictures, special moments and regular updates on our fur kids. We came home to a well-maintained house inside and out. We were and are so appreciative to have such a great couple (Jon and Freda) to stay in our house and to take care of our dogs, Sandi and Lucy. We came back to two very calm, relaxed and happy dogs. I know that they missed them when they left since they looked around to find them after they had left. There were also some beautiful flowers left for us when we returned home; so very thoughtful! It is very comforting to know that when you go away that you have such fantastic people watching your house and dogs. We would love to have them come sit at our house sometime in the future. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a perfect house/dog sitter……on a scale of 1 to 10….10 is not a high enough rating. A great big thanks to Jon and Freda for helping us with some flexibility as we were able to be there for our son's college graduation and do all of the necessary things to move him out of his apartment as well as visit some family and friends. Donna was an amazing house sitter for our 2 dogs. She was so patient with our sweet girl that has been slow to warm up to new people. She sent videos of the girls, putting us at ease. She was a great communicator before and during her stay. She took care of our indoor and outdoor plants. We were very happy to have Donna here while we were away.

Great sitter! she took care of our dogs, our home, our plants, she was amazing! Very responsive, sent me pics of the doggies and communication was great.

Jenny was a joy to have watch our home and yellow lab for a week. Excellent communication and follow through

Beth was FABULOUS!!! We had another TH sitter scheduled for this time and she cancelled on us within 2 weeks of our travels - so I took a chance and reached out to Beth to see if she could stay at our house and she accepted the invitation. I met her prior to our trip and immediately knew she was a winner!!! As soon as she stepped in to our house she kneeled down to say hi to our girls and that went along way with our Mini Aussie, who frightens easily. Beth left our house as clean as a whistle...you wouldn't even know she was there. She stripped the bed and took all of the linens to the laundry room. Our 2 dogs were well cared for....she sent pictures and kept us up to date on them. Our dogs can be very picky eaters and Beth went the extra mile to get them to eat. She even took a ball with her when walking our Goldie girl. We have water bowls in 3 different rooms and I could see that she kept them full, which is important since our senior dogs kidney's are starting to fail. We highly recommend Beth and would use her again in a heartbeat!!!

Leila was a very caring pet sitter. She sent us many pictures while we were gone and updated us while we were away. She left the house clean and communicated well. Anyone would be lucky to have her watching their pet.

Chris was great...personable, communicative, and sweet with our girls. She kept in touch during her stay and let us know ow how the pups were doing. There was a storm brewing while we were gone and she brought plants in so they wouldn't get damaged by the wind. We'd definitely have her back again.

Jacob did an excellent job taking care of Kona and Mary, our dog and cat, as well as our house. We were nervous as it was our first time leaving our pets with strangers but once we spoke with and met Jacob, we left feeling secure. Jacob came early to meet us, our pets and to see the house. He seemed very interested in learning everything and seemed to take the task seriously. Normally, our pets are not on meds, but our dog had had issues with diarrhea earlier in the week so Jacob had to do a couple of extra tasks, which he didn't bat an eye at. While away, we didn't worry about our pets. We did reach out once and Jacob replied right away letting us know that things were going very well. We felt he was responsible and had our interests in mind. Upon our return, the house looked just as we had left it and the pets seemed absolutely fine. We were very pleased and hope to use Jacob again.
