I met up with Stephanie and her family the day before the house sit began to meet their pets and to show me around the area. They spent some time showing me around the estate and surrounding area, introduced me to Misty, Ed and Nuan and invited me to join them for lunch. All very relaxed and very welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay and Misty and the cats were no problem at all, really friendly and exactly as described.
We met the family 2 days before the sit - 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a turtle. The family and pets were great. They were all laid back and mellow. Toodie's instructions were self explanatory and she answered all our questions concerning daily responsibilities like getting the mail, watering plants, where the animal's food was kept, etc. We had to text her a couple times with questions and she answered promptly. The pets are very friendly, all with their own personalities. The dogs Coco and Rosie spent most of their waking time with us either in the kitchen/sitting room or outside. We did leave them on several occasions and they were fine. Our accommodations were very comfortable and the house was lovely.

Staying at Lynley's place and looking after Rupert was a truly delightful experience. Rupert, a lovable and spirited dog, made every day special. He loved his extended walks and runs, showing off his playful side as he tugged on the leash with enthusiasm. Cez and I cherished these active moments, with Cez running alongside Rupert while I cycled with them, exploring the scenic surroundings of Singapore. At home, he was the perfect companion, often curling up next to our feet while we worked on our laptops, bringing a sense of calm and comfort to our days. Our stay was made even more enjoyable by the lovely condo with a great view of the kallang river basin. Overall, befriending and caring for Rupert was a positively unforgettable experience and we would strongly recommend this sit to fellow couple or a single housesitters.
This was one of my favorite sits. I immediately fell in love with Toby, he's super sweet and cuddly. The place is comfortable and quiet and communication with Chloe was smooth and clear. I felt super supported during my time and am very grateful for the time I got to take care of Toby.

Red Fern and staff, I want to take the time to say thank you. I am more than satisfied with Red Fern, the staff, all services and how well the facility is run and how clean everything is. Every interaction I've had has been positive and I feel that my dogs are special. Your staff is always smiling, upbeat, and positive. They are excited when my socialized puppy comes in, and very slow and calm when I bring in my adult dog who is not socialized, is high anxiety, who is unsure and scared of everything. While going to daycare and during boarding the staff sent photos and report cards letting me know how they were doing and how much fun they were having. I am so grateful I have a place to bring them where I know they will be taken care of. I will definitely be coming back for daycare and boarding and referring everyone that has doggy needs. I wish I could give Red Fern and its staff more than five stars because this place is truly the best! Had to place our two pups there for an extended two-month board due to a family emergency and they’re having the best time! I can’t begin to put in words the peace of mind you feel as a paw-rent knowing your fur-babies are well cared for. Love the daily photos, videos, report cards too - so you can see them having so much fun & reading about their day. Red Fern also employs the best staff that genuinely love their job and the doggos entrusted into their care. They’re especially great at fulfilling dietary needs, dispensing meds, etc. Andrew, Emily, Savannah, Bryce, Ashley are some of the really great people there. I highly recommend Red Fern - our pups Beau and Lu are so happy and having the best time!
This place is incredible! Our Aussie stayed here 3 nights and 4 days while we were out of town and she told us she loved it. The facility is awesome, spotless and has so many great amenities. There are size-specific indoor and outdoor play areas, a full grooming station, regular and deluxe "rooms," with beds and everything for your pup. The doggy pool will be done soon too which is perfect for this Florida weather. Also a full grooming room is available. Most importantly, DA, Garnett and the staff are incredible and accommodating with great communication and care. Thank you for taking such great care of Shiva!
I have been taking my pup to Red Fern for daycare while I am at work for almost a year now and have had such a great experience. Ever since day one, the staff has been so welcoming and willing to work one on one with her due to socialization issues. I am so happy to have a place like Red Fern for my Quinn to go to and have a blast! Thank you for everything!
Our pup Appa loves Red Fern. He especially loves pool time and group play! As well, grooming always does an amazing job, making sure he comes home looking and smelling his best! He has been enjoying his time there for the past 2 years and will continue to do so! Much love to the Red Fern family, they are the nicest and most caring around!
I seriously can't say enough good things about this place! We have boarded our dog here a couple times now and even have taken her for doggy daycare so she can play with other dogs for a bit. The staff is amazing, so friendly and always willing to answer any question you might have. They listen to concerns and seem to care about my furbaby almost as much as I do! I love that the more we bring our dog here they remember her by her name and seem happy to see her. I was anxious about boarding her and taking her to daycare because we had never done it before but I'm happy we found Red Fern. I also love that they send daily pictures so you can stay updated and see how your pup is doing.
Very clean location with beautiful installations, even a pool. Your dog will be well tended to. As you can see in the picture, Cloé was sad to leave the pool.
11/10!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars! They love your pet just as if they are their own. We chose the Top Dog Package for our lab Goose and enjoyed the daily pictures and report cards while we were on vacation. We picked him up at 9:00 a.m. and the groomer already had him bathed and dried by the time we got there (Thank You!!!). The whole experience from dropping him off, to picking him up 10 days later was absolutely amazing. Bryce was extremely professional, helpful, and kind during our initial tour, drop-off and pick-up. Thank you Bryce and to all the staff who took great care of our Goose during his stay!
A few months ahead of a three week trip out of the country, we were introduced to Red Fern. We stopped by one Sunday just to see what the place looked like and were surprised to see it open and bustling with employees. (Our Vet offers boarding but one person comes in on a Sunday just to feed the dogs). Unannounced, Ashley offered to give us a quick tour and we met other employees, saw the facilities, and got to see a bunch of happy guest. Needless to say, that day we knew this was a night and day difference to boarding with our Vet. We took our pups for daycare a few times before the trip, just to get them acclimated to the place. By the third visit, they were all excited to be there. They absolutely love this place and so do we, AND WE’RE PICKIE WHEN IT COMES TO OUR PUPS. When it came time to board we used their daily photo service and received photos, each and every day, and even a couple of weekly report cards, a summary of how each did that week. Bottom line, I hope they don’t change a thing. This is a top notch place, offering services at reasonable prices. Best of all, they offered us peace of mind while we traveled. By the way, while boarding our youngest had her one year birthday. The Staff celebrated with her by giving her a special whip cream bowl!! Thank you Red Fern and Staff!
We absolutely love this establishment & especially the staff!!!! We had to board our boy Moose for the 1st time ever when we came to Ocala, my father was in the hospital & my in-laws did not want our dog at their house because they have cats. So we found Red Fern & I’m so thankful we did! My father ended up having to go to hospice & passing away. Red Fern’s staff was amazing through our difficult time! We originally planned to be there just a few days but with the circumstances it ended up being over a week. Then when we came back for the funeral we had to board him again and again they were just as amazing!! They were so helpful and understanding at Red Fern. Knowing our sweet boy was being so well taken care of relieved a huge stress from us! I am now needing to board my dog in another part of Florida and wishing I had a place like Red Fern!! They really are special and now that we are needing a boarding service again we see just how wonderful Red Fern is! Thank you for being such a great, well kept, fun and loving environment for our fur baby! (The pictures I attached are some they text me along with updates of how he was doing while he was staying there.)
Most of the time he is great and our dog does well. This time, he hurt his back or something and never bothered to tell us until we got there and we are really in a bind. I understand if you are hurt and can’t do it but please let people know. There were no dogs there and he said he wasn’t boarding. He didn’t call us to let us know. We have to fly out tomorrow. Please be careful if you’re in a bind. You might be left hanging!
Owner was very accommodating when we needed immediate dog day care. Our dogs were nervous and he spent lots of time trying to find what best suited them. They were excited to go back the next day and he said they did better. We even ran late for pick up and he had no problems waiting for us as long as we kept him informed of where we were.
Gold Coast Kennels is one of our dogs' favorite places to go We call it "doggie spa" and they load up in the car, excited to go. They are well cared for and happy when they are picked up, never seeming anxious to leave. Jim feeds them our food when we provide it, but they never have a problem with his food if we estimate incorrectly what they would need. He is very accommodating on pick up & drop off times, even allowing a last minute change with no problem. Our family won't board our dogs anywhere else.
We have taken dogs to Jim's "camp" for about 12 years. They have always come home clean, well fed and well cared for. Our geriatric cat (who requires shots twice a day) recently spent a week there and came home totally unstressed. Boarding a cat is not always successful but I wouldn't hesitate to take him again.
We just used Gold Coast for the first time and we were very impressed. Jim took such good care of my baby while we were out of town. He was friendly, welcoming, and the kennels were very clean with lots of room for my big boy. We will be using Gold Coast from now on every time we go out of town and I cannot recommend him enough! Our dogs, Sophie and Molly, had a very good experience here. They loved it! When we picked them up they were in the groove and appeared very happy. We were very pleased, we think they received excellent care. We were very happy when we picked them up, I was even able to have Molly groomed and both dogs were smelling pretty. -Karen and Helen

Third time user and will no longer use. The owner is very rude and forgetful. We attempted to pick up our dogs on a Sunday and called at 230 to check in and he advised he was not open till 5pm. When we showed up at 445 he came out yelling at us in front of our kids that we "called him all day" and "It was his day off and he was watching football" and also told us we need to find a new kennel. We apologized and reminded him we only called once. When we got our dogs home they were both very hungry and thirsty. We will no longer recommend Gold Coast.
I have been bringing my four dogs to Gold coast Kennel for over 10 years. Jim has always been very accommodating and professional. My dogs have always been very well taken care of I would recommend Gold coast Kennel to anyone.
I live near this kennel, and I would not put a goldfish here. Multiple times dogs have gotten out and run around, sometimes onto my property. Thank god they have been friendly so far, but I worry about that one time one gets loose that is aggresive. I have three young children that like to play outside. And if you have a problem with your dog being yelled at, left outside regardless of weather, put in with other possibly aggressive dogs, and maybe getting hit...I wouldn't leave my dog here. Again, I live near this place, I see what it's like when you've left your dog for over a week and they're a nervous barker.
I have a high-energy German Shepherd mix with Doberman that had a lot of anxiety to play with other dogs. Liz helped me with this, her training sessions were engaging and tailored to my dog’s needs. Started to see results just after the first session. Liz is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend her for anyone looking to improve their dog’s training and behaviour.
Just picked up our girl from a 10 day stay. Coco was very happy and well cared for. Liz always takes great care of our pup and we feel confident and worry free whenever she stays. Bonus is that any time we go to drop her off, she gets so excited when we are getting close to Liz’s house.
I have a HIGH energy spoiled Standard Poodle that most dog sitters can not handle. I am so fortunate to have found Liz! She knows how to handle dogs and my dog gets to run like a nut while there. Liz has a great setup for dog care. I totally trust her to take care of our princess!
We were very lucky to find Elizabeth as we are snow birds and new to the area. We use Liz to watch our 60 lb Labradoodle at least twice a week for play days and several overnights on weekends for 4 months now. We will be going back home till next winter and will miss her excellent care for our dog. She is really great with all the dogs and actually supervises them all day while they play in the huge private yard or are taking a time out inside. Rest assured your dog will come home happy and tired after staying at Good Dog. I would highly recommend her and will be back next year.
Owner Liz Doyle has created a fun, safe and secure home away from home for dogs. Her property is designed with many opportunities for the dogs to play. Budzie enjoys both day care and overnight stays. Liz is professional, friendly and caring. Her rates are the most reasonable in the area. She taught him how to sit and wait before coming in! I always rest easy knowing my "Pookie" is with her.
Liz took excellent care of our dog Dallas while we travelled. She was loving and caring and worked patiently with his finicky eating habits. He Loved her large fenced yard. .

Bed & Biscuits is a great place to bring your dogs if you have to leave town. The price is fair and they get their own private little yard run. The owner is always friendly and takes good care of our babies.

I took my dogs here for training and they stayed for 4 weeks and came back so well behaved I am absolutely amazed. They were puppies and didn’t listen to anything and now I can take them on walks and they don’t pull me and they sit and stay I am so happy with this training facility I highly recommend. I don't pick my fur baby up until Saturday, but I must say I am beyond happy with Bed & Biscuits. I was so nervous about boarding my Cheerio because she is a rescued pitbull who was abandoned in a house by her previous family. I didn't want her to feel like we were leaving her for good. Well, we bring her to Bed & Biscuits on a rainy Saturday morning and the owner was very friendly and professional. He put me at ease. Cheerio has been with them for a week and a half now and he has sent me pictures of her happily playing and it makes me feel so happy for her. I consider my dog one of my children and to know that she is being treated like a part of their family while with them makes me so incredibly happy. She will be going back in Sept for our trip up north for sure. I highly recommend this place.
Review: We had Ani care for our 4 cats and tourtise while we were on a 4 week vacation. She was wonderful. She took excellent care of our animals. She also is great at handling the unexpected. We lost water during our vacation and she had to bring gallons of water for our pets. She sent wonderful update photos and texts. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for hight quality care of your animals. You can tell She really cares for your pets.

I highly recommend Ani the Per Nanny!!! For almost a year now, Ani has taken care of my multiple giant breed dogs. I love to see a business that has their processes in place. Website with all the details I need to know before contacting, system to support the efficiency of the service provider, prompt call back etc etc. Right from the start I knew Dana Do! really was a concierge, someone who had the background to take care of our Charlie so we didn't have to worry while we were away and who was deeply passionate about pets. Systems are great, but proof is the interactions she had with who this is all about, our cat Charlie! He's a tough nut to crack, and she bonded with him quicker than any other sitter before. It was a joy to see how content Charlie was when we got back! I highly recommend Dana Do to care for your fur babies. She will take care of Charlie many more times!
Dana's services are priceless! While we were out of the country, we had her come by twice a day to care for our older cat who was being left alone. Twice a day every day we looked forward to her emails through her secured website. She would include lovely pics of him playing with his toys, eating, etc. This was SOOOO much better than the alternative, which was taking him to an unfamiliar location where he would be around unfamiliar people, animals, sounds, odors, etc. (he is timid enough as it is). Dana has been dependable, friendly and reliable. We will use her services again!
Dana took excellent care of our puppy, cat, fish, chickens and bunny while we are out of town for a cruise. She went above and beyond and also watered our garden and brought in our mail and the garbage barrels! After each visit we received an email that had notes from the visit and also pictures. Dana was amazing. She took such great care of my cats and provided daily updates and photos of them. I felt at ease while on vacation knowing she was spending time with them and making sure their kitty litter was clean and food/water bowls were fresh and full. And also she took great care of my plants. They looked healthy when I returned from my vacation. They looked better then when I take care of them haha. We have boarded our Chocolate Labrador Retriever at Miss Kate’s Bed & Biscuit for the last two years. They do an excellent job with the dogs. They have large fenced in lots (play areas), and segregate the dogs by size. You always worry when boarding your family pet but Miss Kate’s has cameras both inside and out in the play areas that you can access 24/7 via the web. I know our dog is well taken care of as evidenced by seeing him leap into the arms (now this is a 90lb Lab), of one of the young men that work there when I was dropping him off. The young man throws the ball/frisbee to the dogs out in the play area. We tried a couple of boarding places in the area before Miss Kate’s and we were not happy with them. We are glad that we found Miss Kate’s Bed & Biscuit and we highly recommend them should you need a place to board your dog.
As a potential client, I was eager to experience your services firsthand, especially considering the feedback I had received. Unfortunately, I found that the overall organization of the premises was lacking. The atmosphere was chaotic, and it appeared that operations were not being managed effectively. I had hoped for a more seamless experience, but it was clear that the staff, particularly the manager, was struggling to maintain order. This visit has left me with serious doubts about the capability of your team and the quality of service you provide. I believe that there is significant room for improvement in both management and overall organization. While I had approached this visit with an open mind, I regret to say that my experience did not meet my expectations. I appreciate your attention to these matters and hope that you will take steps to address them in the future.
I recently quit Miss Kate’s because I am an animal Lover and do not agree with the way things are run and who it is ”managed” by now. As someone who recently worked here, I would not bring my babies here. There are plenty of better taken care of and honest facilities with more experienced management to bring your pets. 💕🐾 Response to response: Falsely accusing someone of theft because you don’t like what they have to say is not only insane but also wildly unprofessional but I guess that is a continuous pattern for you.
When we moved to Florida, we were very concerned about finding a good place to take our Great Dane on a weekly basis for socialization. My husband and I travel a lot and at times we also need to board our sweet boy, which is always a huge concern for me. We found Miss Kates about two months after moving to Florida and our baby became a regular three days a week with them until we moved this year. For us, Miss Kates is more than just a place they were like family because that’s how they treated us and our boy, Kadim. We came to know the staff by name, and they knew us. I never hesitated to take him any time we had a need and we referred many people there! Not only do they allow the dogs to play with each other but the staff play with them as well; give them love, give them treats, make sure that they’re fed and loved! One thing I learned a long time ago as you can tell a lot about a place by how your dog responds. Kayden came to know when we would turn down the road leading to Miss Kates and would get so excited! We didn’t even need to have him on his leash. He would jump out of the car and run straight inside like, I’m here, I’m here, I’m ready to play! Picking him up and as a different story, he wouldn’t want to leave. ♥️ Kadim made so many new friends, as did we and we miss them greatly! 🐕🦺♥️🐾
I saw some people arguing with the owner in the reviews and I want to talk about something the owner said in the replies, she claims that her business is falling because of the "employees" and talking about 6 or 7 employees that she fired due to various reasons, some that don't make sense, and mentioned that she has never let anything happen to a dog in the past 6 years. I would just like to point out that every single one of the employees left a review talking about how the owner was a complete idiot, said she is horrible to the dogs, and is training their new employees to feed the dogs outside (which could be horrible if the dog decides to start playing), etc. To have almost all of your employees that got fired/quit leave a review like that is quite an accomplishment. Now about her saying that she hasn't let anything happen to any of her dogs in the past 6 years, within the past year and a half she has let 2 dogs die as well as one running away. This is an incredible feat to have, it's almost like it's her job to not let that happen. I wouldn't board your dogs here, I've seen first hand how they treat their dogs, trust me you don't want to have your dogs here.
I recently used Miss Kate’s Bed and Biscuit for dog sitting over a holiday weekend, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The customer service was quick and incredibly kind, accommodating my dog on short notice for a two-night stay. From the moment I dropped her off, it was clear that the staff treated her like family. My dog came back home happy and well-cared-for, showing all the signs of having been treated wonderfully. I highly recommend Miss Kate’s Bed and Biscuit for their exceptional care and outstanding service.
Miss Kate's is the best! My dog, Bella, enjoys her time there and I never worry about her when she's there. I wouldn't take her any where else. The staff is wonderful.
What an incredible place! I have five wonderful rescue dogs that are my children and this is the only place I would ever bring them and trust they would get incredible care. Huge enclosures (not cages or kennels) and giant fields for them to run in... And they're taken out every couple hours! Top-notch care and the facility is super clean and the people here are huge animal lovers. Highly recommend!
I don't know what we'd do without Miss Kate's and their wonderful staff. My wife and I work full-time, and having this five paw resort nearby gives us so much peace and joy knowing he's safe and cared for.
Not the same any longer - my pet did not want to stay there which tells you something. Staff turn over is evident and now you have to prepay and give 48 hours notice to pick up early or they will not refund any days not used. This model is the greed which is more improtant than the customer or the well being of your pets so it's the last time we use them.
Just picked up our dog, Drew, who was happily out playing with the other dogs! When we got there, Kathy let me see where Drew would be staying. The room was spacious and very clean. It is a bit of a drive for us to drop her off, but well worth it. The price is excellent and includes play time, she does have some nice extras that you can add on…we added a peanut butter Kong each day . We are headed home now and our dog appears happy and well cared for…see you next time!
We have been going to BTT for 6 years now and it’s so sad to say that we will not be going back. It was clean in the beginning now it should get O- Stars. We love that our pets are treated well there. Our dog was so happy when we made the turn to go into their driveway but happy to get home. The owner is very knowledgeable about pet care but maybe not in the up keeping of her facility. Wishing them well in the future. Maggie S.
Our rescue dog Peanut has had three owners and has been in three shelters before we adopted her. Bedtime Tails is exceptional. Peanut had her own private room with a raised platform type bed which we put her pet bed on top. She was taken out 5 time each day to play with dogs her own size. The last outdoor play time is around 8 pm at night. For a small fee they will give your pet extra attention and even doggie ice cream (the treat is not really ice cream and has no sugar. Specially made for dogs) Peanut got here treat at noon. She had her own dog food twice a day along with a little doggie ice cream at noon. A few of her dog biscuits after each play time. If you are looking for a caring facility to look after your cat or dog while you are away for a day(s), week or more this is a great choice. Peanut will be a regular customer when every we need someone to look after her when we can not.
Such a fantastic place to trust my babies at! They are not nervous when we drop them off and get excited to go!
Josey always returns happy and sleepy after a stay with Kathy at Bedtime tails. Bath nails and ears are a great way to finish off her stay. We are confident she's getting great care while we're away. Our previous dog Faith stayed many times over the years. Thanks Kathy and all else who look after our girl, Josey!
We just moved to the Villages and have a 10 year old Weimaraner (JD). We brought JD to BTT for 9 nights. When we picked her up she was happy and very healthy. Thank you BTT for taking care of her. We will be returning soon. Keep up the good work.
My dog Bella has severe separation anxiety and can be nervous around other dogs. I do not use a pet boarding service often, but life happens and occasionally we need someone to look after her. We have tried so many places and have always ended up with horrible results - isolation, anxiety, days of recovery, and even throwing up and bloody stools. But now I finally found Ms. Cathy! She listened to our story and was willing to work with us to help keep Bella as comfortable as possible, and without tranquilizers. This is the first time I have been separated from Bella and had no issues. She was her normal self when I picked her up and I could tell from her behavior she had been well cared for. I highly recommend Bedtime Tails! I may even plan another a trip in the near future. :)
My first choice was booked so I asked for a recommendation. Bedtime Tails was one of the recommended places. They offered a tour which I really enjoyed seeing where my pup was going to be for 10 days. If my dog could talk, I think she'd say she had a great time. She came back looking healthier than before we dropped her off and happy. I took advantage of the additional services they offer, so when I picked up my little one she was smelling good, with cut nails and her ears cleaned. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be using them again as my first choice when the time comes.
I left my 11 year old rescue poodle with Cathy for 4 days. My dog takes a LOT of medicine. Cathy took excellent care of her and I am very grateful for the time I had to get out of town for a while. I hesitated leaving her in a kennel, but Cathy seems to run an excellent facility. UPDATE Second visit...Amber is now 12 and even more fragile. I left her even longer. This poodle is a rescue that requires a lot of care...old and fragile. Cathy returned her in PERFECT condition. Yes she is a lot of work, but Cathy and staff did it perfectly.
My boy Simba spent the weekend here. He doesn't always get along well with other dogs (possessive and protective of his family). They said they would see how he did and if he had any issues they would change him to alone outings. Well! He did amazing and got to spend a bunch of time playing with other dogs in a happy and healthy environment. Will definitely be using again.
I cannot say enough great things about Lynn and her dogdom! She took amazing care of my dogs and sent me several updates and photographs along the whole way! I was beyond grateful for her! I will definitely use her again.
If you have the pleasure of knowing Lynn and Rafe then you know there isn't a better place for your fur babies to be. They were foster parents to our handsome boy before we found each other and the only ones we ever leave him with. They love, spoil and treat your baby like their own. Special folks
We had our dog Belle stay with Lynne for 11 nights and it was great. Lynne's Dogdom lets the dogs roam in and out of her house all day - no cages. She has a large, secure yard which gives the dogs lots of room to play and investigate. She kept us updated with lots of pictures and videos of Belle's activities. Our dog came back happy and very tired. We definitely will have our dog stay again with Lynne.
I left my Siberian Husky(Akira) there for 2 weeks and let me tell you I was extremely nervios since that’s the first time I had too be without her, Lynn was very professional, nice and sent me daily pictures and videos. My dog loved being there especially since she was outside most of the time. I highly recommend this place and will continue going there with my dog in the future.
Lynn Keeney is an expert with special-needs dogs like my foster beagle; I wouldn't take him anywhere else. I drive 2 hrs to get there.
