Spent most of a week at Frank and Sherri's comfortable and very convenient townhouse with Leo, Jasper and Hal. The cats were mostly uninterested in me as long as fed them, left water and kept the litter boxes clean. Which is fine, they are cats. Leo occasionally deigned to pay attention to me - Hal and Jasper seemed okay that I was around. The townhouse is very comfortable and in a great neighborhood for places to eat, coffee and a bit of hanging out and wandering. Berkeley Lake is about 1/2 mile away and on a nice day a good place to see birds (I saw a bunch of redwing blackbirds and some geese and other water birds). Two convenient bus lines. Frank and Sherri are great hosts - we had an enjoyable meal the night I arrived and they left some goodies for me. Great sit; would return, especially when the weather is a bit warmer and there are fewer covid restrictions. Thanks.

What a lovely stay at Diana's fabulously positioned home overlooking the Chilterns. "Tranquility at its best" Millie and Tara are really cute and a pleasure to take care of. There is an abundance of stunning walks down country lanes and over fields in this very friendly community. It was also a pleasure to meet Diana and I enjoyed our interesting chats.
Penelope was such an easy cat to care for! She is even more gorgeous in person than in the photos. Although she wasn’t interested in physically engaging during my stay, she was a chatty companion who curled up nearby and seemed to enjoy having someone around. Her routines are very straightforward and Jane made it very easy to get the lay of the land in the apartment (which looks like something out of a designer magazine) by meeting up with me beforehand. The neighborhood is very proximal to many terrific stores, restaurants, and shops; take care not to park your car on the street on the 2nd Wednesday of the month as mine was towed for street cleaning due to missing the sign when I returned late the night before! Truly a completely wonderful experience otherwise and I appreciate the opportunity to spend time with the lovely Penelope, with thanks to a very gracious Jane.
Where to start?... We had a wonderful time in Vera's place. First, as a local sit we had the opportunity to meet Vera before and arrange everything with her. Vera is super friendly, generous person and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The cats are really easy to take care. Pequenina is a independent lady who enjoy the day around the neighborhood. Theo is a great companion all day long, he loves to be close, play and cuddles. Both come to sleep with us during the night. We had so much fun playing with them. The house is in a stunning location with an amazing pool, surrounded by nature and views of the mountains and the ocean. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything necessary to a good stay. We are so glad to the opportunity to meet Vera and the cats. And looking forward to repeat this sitting! We highly recommend!
Staying at this cozy apartment in Barcelona with two incredibly friendly dogs Luke and Jim was an absolute delight! Carolina and the atmosphere at her place was welcoming, and the furry companions made it feel just like home. Additionally, the apartment's location was fantastic! Just a short 6-stop bus ride to the beach and a mere 10 stops to the city center, making it incredibly convenient to explore. With a nearby Lidl store for all essentials and a bustling street filled with cafes and shops, everything was within reach. Plus, having the metro right below the building was an absolute bonus, simplifying travel around the city. It truly made my stay both comfortable and easily accessible to all the wonderful attractions Barcelona has to offer! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you for hosting such a lovely space filled with such wonderful company
