We "met" Concetta (Conny) and Yannick first through their personal video introduction about themselves and then via a short video conference we scheduled to get to know them better. They are currently on a parental leave trip and have a new baby Mika on board with them! Conny and Yannick are warm and friendly and were very enthusiastic about housesitting for Kitty during their travels in the south of France. Since they were already in the area, it seemed like a natural fit to invite them to sit for Kitty during our Easter break. We asked Conny and Yannick to arrive the day before we left for our trip so we could show them around the house and property and get to know them better. We felt very comfortable with them, even though having a baby in the house was a new experience for Kitty. When they arrived, they were well organized and self-sufficient, bringing along their own food and other items for their stay. They had read the welcome guide thoroughly before they arrived and asked questions about anything that was unclear. They were very attentive to Kitty’s needs and especially her detailed medication routine. They were polite and considerate and respected our “house rules” such as taking off shoes before entering the house, which we always appreciate. :) We agreed the day we left that it made sense to leave the living room sofa bed open so Kitty could have her own space, which seemed to work out well for her since she usually sleeps on our bed when we are home. Conny and Yannick kept us informed about Kitty and their activities in the area while we were away, and sent us a few photos of Kitty, too. We returned to a very clean house and a happy, peaceful cat. We are happy to recommend Conny and Yannick for other sits and would be happy to have them come back again. We highly recommend this friendly, caring couple enough for a future housesit!

Tamera
My Husband and I House sat and pet sat for Tamera and Norm for a week . We enjoyed our stay immensely ! their 3 dogs and cat are super affectionate and sweet ! Wren loves to fetch anything. I enjoyed feeding the horses and donkey every morning and evening, they get excited when they see you coming and they are very well mannered. The house is super comfy and Tamera has a very thorough booklet that has everything written down about maintaining the house and the pets. She is a great communicator and was available for any questions that I'd had. I would highly recommend a stay at their home anytime!

Charlotte
This was one of my very favourite sits, hands down! Taking care of Senor Bumble and Charlotte’s lovely historic home in Chipping Campden was an absolute pleasure. Located right on the High Street, Charlotte’s home couldn’t be any more convenient for exploring the town. And Bumble is the easiest kitty to take care of - he’s very chatty and definitely has his own schedule! I highly recommend this sit for anyone looking to spend time in a beautiful historic home and who loves cats who like to snuggle (in his own time, of course!) Thank you Charlotte & Bumble!!

Erin
Erin and Tim were great. Super communicative and on point with all needed info. They handled any concerns quickly and patiently and were very generous with making my stay a lovely one.

Peanut Butter and Jerry are two cool cats. They kept to themselves most of the time but every now and again would want a little affection. They do not bite or scratch in any way and will let you pick them up and give them a squeeze or a belly rub.

Now, Ulm, WOW, what a beautiful place to stay. I was there for about three weeks (check out my @yourlocalmegan Ulm highlights on IG if you're interested) and I can't say enough about this wonderful town. Plenty to see and do. If you get the chance to sit for Erin and Tim, do it!!

Tamsin
We are so grateful to Tamsin, Aldo, Argo, Frida and Bertie for choosing us for their housesit at magical Mogliano!:) Their kindness and joy, amazing well equipment upstairs apartment and stunning and peaceful views was a daily gift. We were surrounded by olive trees, beautiful flowers, yummy vegetable garden and citrus trees. Dreamy.
Argo, Frida and Bertie are well-mannered and super cuddly. Argo stole our heart. He was very friendly, kind, sweet and gentle to us and our son. It was very nice to see their every day hugs and kisses. We went for a daily walk with Argo and he was always at our side.
Tamsin kindly introduced us to their home and invited us for lunch when we arrived. Aldo’s pasta was fantastic and delicious!
Tamsin explained everything for us regarding their home, pets and swimming pool before she left. We cleaned the pool daily and it was great to swim as a reward!
We communicated easily and Tamsin made sure we had everything we needed. She found some children’s toys that belonged to her sons and it was really helpful to entertain our son. Thank you for the amazing time we spent at your home, we hope we will be back soon!

Marissa
Melissa was a very gracious host and her pets - Hero and Ember are very sweet and cuddly! They get along really well and are very low maintenance. Hero makes an amazing companion when you go on hikes and loves headrubs 🥰. Ember purrs the second he’s in your arms!

The house is located in a very scenic neighborhood and is close to everything!

We would love to come back and take care of your furry babies again 🫶

Emily
Staying at Emily's home in Seattle for three weeks was truly a home away from home. The house sits in a perfect spot with a stunning view of downtown Seattle that never gets old. The inside of the house is just as welcoming, with a cozy bedroom, a spacious bathroom, and a kitchen that had everything I needed—and then some. The garden was a peaceful retreat, and the workspace was a bonus for days when I needed to buckle down and focus.

Transportation was a breeze with a bus stop just three minutes walk from the doorstep and downtown only a 7-10-minute ride away. Emily was kind enough to let me use her car, which came in handy for adventures with Olive and Zuki, her delightful dogs. We explored nearby trails and made regular visits to Discovery Park, which was just an 10-minute drive away.

The neighborhood had all the essentials within walking distance, including an incredible bakery and a simple grocery store for everyday needs. For bigger shopping trips, there was a great store just an eight-minute drive away that had a fantastic selection of quality products.

Emily was a fantastic host from the start, making sure I felt comfortable and at home. She loved getting updates and photos of Olive and Zuki, who were wonderful companions. Olive was a bit standoffish at first, watching me from a distance, but once she figured out I was the new caregiver (and meal provider!), she became affectionate and wouldn’t leave my side. Zuki took a little longer to warm up, but after a few runs and frisbee games, she was all about getting attention.

Playing the piano in the evenings was a treat, and both dogs made sure I never felt lonely, especially at night: Olive would snuggle up and Zuki would let everyone know she was on guard, making me feel secure and loved.

Saying goodbye to Olive and Zuki was harder than I expected—I definitely shed a few tears. My time at Emily's was filled with warmth and memorable moments, and I'm grateful for the experience. Thanks to Emily, Olive, and Zuki for making it so special. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!🤗
