Judith and her husband were such wonderful and kind people! Our pets were happy and everything went very smoothly. When we returned home, the house was tidy and clean.

Mijke was over the top wonderful!!! She was very considerate of my home and she was excellent with communication about my dog Chance! I received darling pics throughout the sit and very nice updates on how they were doing. Mijke left my home very clean with clean sheets and it was spotless! Mijke is also a very sweet and interesting person. I highly recommend her for your home and pet sits!!!

Lynn stepped in at short notice when I had to extend my trip for a few days. She accepted the handover from the previous sitter without any issues and followed instructions to prepare food that had run out. Everything was fine, cats were happy. Thanks Lynn!

Really lovely couple, very tidy and clean, great communication about the cats and photos. It would be a pleasure to have them sit for our cats again.

One of the best things that could have happened is meeting Verena and having her staying at my home with Teddy. The communication was exceptional throughout her whole stay as well as before and after! Verena is a very kind Person who managed to bond with Teddy in a very short time. She updated me about his well-being which I highly appreciated. She is very well organized, reliable in communication and timings, and super clean! Teddy and I hope to welcome her again! I can recommend her to everyone who wants to have a peace of mind when leaving house and pets and be rest assured that everything is in good hand with Verena! Thank you so much Verena !! We really appreciate Kathy and Rich taking such good care of our animals-two horses and a dog and a cat-while we were on vacation. They kept us updated about the animals by text and photo and the house was tidy and neater than we had left it 🙂 They are true animal lovers and our animals were comfortable with them and were well cared for. We had the pleasure of having Joost and Magdalena take care of our dog Szeder and cat Süti recently, and we couldn’t be happier with their service. From the moment they arrived, it was clear they have a genuine love for animals. Joost and our dog, Szeder, hit it off immediately (:D) , which was wonderful to see. Not only did they take excellent care of our pets, but they also kept our house spotless. It’s such a relief to come home to happy pets and a clean home. Manuela is a very sweet girl. She is social and kind to others. She helped my parents a lot (who live next door) and my mother really was a great fan of her. So she has good social skills. Manuela uses this site so she can find a place to stay, while she is looking for a job in the Netherlands or elsewhere in Europe. While she was staying in NL, she was following a study at the University. All that of course is not a problem at all; I realize that a lot of people here are using this site to find free or cheap accomodation. However this is a pet site, so the reliability and the quality of the petsitting should be the primary focus. 10 days before the sitting would take place, she informed me that she wouldn't be able to be present during the entire sit due to an in-person conference at the university that would last for a week. Of course this was less then ideal to me but since it was impossible to find another petsitter on such a short notice I went out of my way to find a replacement, and decided to pursue with her as my petsitter. However, half way during her stay she mentioned she would be gone for another week to do her exams at the university. So out of the entire month, she was only present for 50% of it. I had to make sure that I could find a replacement again. Luckily my stepdad was willing to take the care upon him. My pets are my babies so it is super important for me that the petsitter who applies for a period, actually is there the entire period. One of my cats, Frances was not eating well during her stay at my house. Of course that can happen; animals can get sick any time and that doesn't need to be a result of the care. However, my stepdad told me that the bowls in where the cats got their food in, were not clean and got dirty and even mold in it. When he stepped in and cleaned the bowls, Frances started eating again and after a couple of days he was back on his normal eating pattern. Another incident was with the rabbits, I gave her a manual in where I explicitly told her which veggies to give the rabbits and which not. I was not amused to see that she had fed them an entire plate of cut up carrots, while I had told her that they could only have a little piece of a carrot per day. My rabbits have supersensitive intestines and quickly to get gas problems. Carrots have a lot of sugar, so an entire plate can cause problems. Manuela did apply requests I made during my stay abroad; she did apply a spray against flies, when I asked her to and even washed one of the bunnies when that needed to happen. When I came home, I had to do some cleaning. Manuela hadn't noticed that the cats had been spraying on different places, including the kitchen counter and kitchen walls and cabinets. The state of the house was less important to me; I did notice she had cleaned the rabbit area very well so I was happy about that. I think Manuela did her best but just is a bit more casual about things then I would be.

Sonja and George were fabulous sitters. The did not just watch our pets but actually spent time with them. They sent us pictures and videos every day. They watered our plants and left the house and car cleaner than when they arrived. We would definitely use them again

Mirella was a fabulous Housesitter. Super easy to communicate prior to the sit and when she arrived we could tell her gentle manner was perfect for our hounds. Womble and Monty were very relaxed through the sit and clearly missed Mirell when she left-always a good sign! The house was left spotless as well, thank you so much Mirella, welcome back anytime :)

We were so happy to have Michiel and Micha here to watch Bruce and Hudson. In the planning stage, we met with them on video call and they were very open and engaging. We had a good feeling right from the start. Both of our fur babies took to the two immediately and we knew we had made the correct decision in picking them to be our TH. They were very clean, we came back to a spotless house, beds were stripped, floors were vacuumed, mail was stacked, plants were thriving (they were not thriving when we left!!!), everything was exactly how it should be. We had daily updates and pictures of Bruce and Hudson, which made us feel really safe and comfortable. These two are a definite PLUS in our lives and we would love to have them come back some day. A definite 5 star recommendation!! xx
