While having a sitter back out just a week prior to their sit sounds like a terrible experience, as Hamlet remind us, “There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.” In fact, it turned out to be the best possible thing to happen to us because that’s how we got to meet the fabulous Roger and Dianna. Shortly after reposting our sit we received their application, liked what we saw, and set up a video call. We had a wonderful chat and got along so well we booked them at the end of the call. It was serendipitous. Not only does our Nova look like a twin to their own grand dog Edie, our girls took to both Dianna and Roger immediately and it was clear the love was reciprocated in the consistent communication and photos they shared while we were away for 10 days. We came home to find them welcoming us back and making sure everything was good before they departed. The sheets had been washed and bed remade, house cleaned, all pets fed and watered and they even left us chew treats for The Girls to enjoy after they were gone. We were so happy with how well they had tended to our home and furry kiddos that we not only booked them for a second sit in November, but also a third in December! What seemed at first to be a problem turned into a major blessing and, as evidenced by our booking them for two more sits, we would absolutely have them back again!
I thought I did leave a review but cannot find it now. So just in case I want to say that Gina and her partner were fabulous sitters who looked after my fred very well. House was tidy and secure and well looked after. Would recommend .
Robin and Erik were wonderful house and pet sitters! They were very communicative and I had a great trip knowing my house and pup were in their kind and capable hands. Our dog is almost 12 and went blind recently, and they took excellent care of her. They also took great care of the house, including cleaning up a patio tarp that came down during a storm while we were away. We would welcome them back any time and highly recommend them both as house and pet sitters. Thank you Robin and Erik!!
