We really enjoyed our sit for Noorjte and John, their place is great, very spacious with a view! Milo and Laker were both just lovely, really great company and a pleasure to spend time with. Milo is so friendly and loves a cuddle, and Laker is great to take out and about - he's so well behaved and is such a sweet dog. Haarlem is a great city, we so enjoyed exploring it and their place is very well located - a short and really nice walk into the hustle and bustle. It was great meeting Noorjte and John, they were very helpful and welcoming and we would highly recommend this sit!
Angela's house was lovely to stay in with a couple of absolute cuties to hang out with! Instructions were clear and communication with Angela was great. If anyone is looking for a quick Calgary getaway in a convenient location and some fluffy company, this is the sit for you!
From the time we met Rohit. Samira and their amazing cat Pari, we knew we were going to have a great pet sitting experience. Rohit and Samira are such a nice couple and their home has a lovely vibe and so does the neighborhood which is very safe and one of the best in Vancouver. We loved every moment we spent at their home with Pari such an amazing and beautiful cat. She is more than just a wonderful cat, she's a special spirit that binds with people like no other cat can. She loves being brushed and patted and loves lots of attention. We spent six great weeks with her and were sad to leave. I can say we had a wonderful time in Vancouver during Christmas thanks to Rohit and Samira. Their apartment is on ground level and it was very private and quiet. We had a rack to hang our clothes with plenty of hangers and a whole closet to hang our coats and place our shoes. My husband had a cute office to work in private which he liked very much. This sit can be done by someone with no car as the bus stop is just steps from their place. There are so many wonderful places to visit nearby and in the city. The village of Kerrisdale just a short walk from their apartment is a great place to shop for food and just about anything else. There are a few shops that sell organic food, chocolates, pet store, hair saloons, a few big grocery stores just taking the bus for a short ride. Rohit and Samira left two bottles of organic wine for us to enjoy. We had a lot of things to watch on TV including the wonderful Master Class series. It was so relaxing being with Pari in her beautiful home. We will love and cherish the memories we have of her, her home, and Vancouver forever. All in all, we highly recommend this sit.
I had a lovely relaxing time looking after Lottie and Bruno (and eating cake!). Paula and Chris made me feel very welcome and provided lots of useful information about the local area. The owners run a cafe next door, which had an unexpected bonus as they kindly gave me all the leftover produce to eat, which I was more than happy to assist with :-). Lottie is a little shy, but after a few hours comes out of her shell and is very sweet and loves to curl up with you. Bruno is just a daft ball chasing overgrown cuddle-puppy :-). Both dogs are very good natured and easy to care for. The dogs are quite strong on the lead, and as a single sitter I decided to take them out for walks separately. Bruno was easy to tire out at the local park with the provided tennis ball, and then I left him at home to sleep and took Lottie on a walk around Kinder Reservoir which was amazing. The house was nice and cosy, and most evenings were spent with the dogs on the sofa, fireplace going, watching Netflix. (or in bed, with a book...and two canine bed warmers). Whilst I generally avoid sits in older houses due to my asthma and dust allergy, I just couldn't resist the chance to look after a Saluki...I'm pleased I did as I had no issues with allergies in this house which surprised me. I'd love to sit here again.
Beautiful home and loved the cats. The kitten was a love bug and stayed with me all day and night. The older cat was friendly but kept to herself. Clear instructions and comfortable guest room. Would definitely come back!
