Nancy and Alan are excellent hosts. This housesit took place in their AZ home, involving only the 2 wonderful horses. The feeding routine for the horses is very simple and detailed instructions were given. Sadie and Kadeen are very affectionate and it was a pleasure to look after them. We had great communication with Nancy and Alan. Highly recommend!
I had a great stay at Tina and Andrew's, Snitter and Rowf were a pleasure to look after, friendly and loving with great characters. Even though they needed meds and a little extra care it was never a problem, Tina's instructions were very thorough and I was never in doubt I was doing everything needed. The house is in one of my favourite countryside locations, and is perfect for a peaceful stay. I can fully recommend this stay.
Abby and Matt were amazing hosts! Their home is so tranquil and comfortable, and I found myself reading a couple of their books during my stay. Apollo and Nike are such a great pair! Apollo will give ALL the love and playing a human can handle! We were pretty much snuggled up or playing the whole time! Nike, on the other hand, definitely took a little time to warm up to me. But, I did get a couple times of petting her, and even once where had a few minutes of snuggles! During my stay, I thought I was having an appliance issue (operator error LOL), and Abby was right on top of taking care of it, even though I told her it was no big deal and she could worry about it when she got home. I highly recommend sitting for Abby and Matt, and look forward to the next time I get to take care of Nike and Apollo!
Where to start...lovely, comfy, well appointed home, with an office area (they rely on Starlink for internet and wifi only calling which was fine for me but if you had big data needs maybe not) gorgeous garden with loads of places to chill and relax in the sun (if you're lucky) and a luscious veg plot. Very quiet and peaceful location, despite being just off a road connecting you to Truro in one direction and Newquay or the mighty A30 in the other. Alfie was an absolute sweetheart and incredibly well behaved, great in the car, thrives on love not treats! He definitely knows how to show you what he wants, full of character ....tip, turn left out of the house for walkies! We had a bit of a hiccup on arrival as they'd forgotten to leave keys out as planned, and neither of us had phone reception..I did eventually go to a neighbor who thankfully had the key safe code. Heather was very apologetic and despite them being away on a sailing trip managed to check in occasionally or answer the odd question. A lesson in always asking for the welcome guide in advance! The only other problem was Alfie was grieving the loss of his doggie friend, and as a result I got woken up with his barking for attention/ comfort every morning between about 5am - 530am, which wasn't pre-warned. Towards the end I got into a system with him and it was manageable, but it did mean for much of the sit I was incredibly tired. This is the only reason for 'marking down' and it was hard to be annoyed with him. Perhaps in time he will settle down. Despite this, I would happily sit again, forewarned is forearmed!

Our home was evacuated due to a fire and in an emergency situation Penticton Pet Resort stepped up and made the check in process quick and easy. I was able to communicate through text and send photos of our dogs vaccination records. Without a date for pick up since we didn’t know when we would be allowed home, they looked after our beloved dog and updated us with photos. How ever long we needed, they would be there. In high stress situations, they made our life so much easier. Thank you for helping us and being a reliable and caring business.
Cannot thank the staff at Penticton Pet Resort enough for all of their help / support over the last few years. I have been taking my dog here for many years now for overnight boarding. He has been returning home happy and healthy every time. The staff are great and the online reservation request is very convenient. My pup gets excited when we pull up to the driveway there so I know he also gives 5 dog bones of excellence!
We've been bringing my (almost) one year old puppy here since he was five months old and I have never been more impressed with such a welcoming staff. They are so kind and treat my pup like he is the best boy in the world. We just picked him up from a two night stay and he didn't want to come home. I have had only good experiences with the Penticton Pet Resort. They are accommodating, friendly, and truly care about the pets in their care. We recently had our bull mastiff boarded for 11 days. Booking was easy, Lyndsey was easily reachable by phone/text. The facility was clean with friendly staff to receive us early on a Sunday morning. On our return our dog was in excellent condition, she clearly liked the staff and apparently made a few doggy friends. I would absolutely bring my Lola back again. Thanks for taking such good care of our girl.
Was visiting from Calgary and felt so at ease leaving my dog here. The staff were awesome and explained a ton when I dropped her off and then at pick up, they thoroughly explained how she did and how they adjusted her stay to make her comfortable. Highly recommend!
Visiting from out of town caused great anxiety for us as our high energy dogs are hard to manage while trying to visit family members. We contacted Garnet doggy daycare and they were extremely friendly and welcoming. The daycare was easy to find. Our two active dogs were welcomed and extremely well cared for. Kat's love of dogs was evident immediately as she greeted our dogs which was reassuring. She sent us pictures throughout the day, and the dogs were so happy there. They got super excited as soon as we pulled in to the driveway every day and they got to play in nature all day long. They came home tired and ready for a snooze. We will definitely be using their services again the next time we are in town.
Our labradoodle Zofka adores her time at Garnet doggy daycare & boarding! She always finds old and new four-legged buddies there ready to play! Zofka gets plenty of exercise, walks and fun activities. I must point out that even though it sometimes doesn't look like from the photos which are provided to us during the day, she always comes home clean and brushed! We highly appreciate not only the loving and professional care, but especially the fact that Zofka is not locked in a kennel, but is involved in Kate's family, so she does not miss us at all! Our family absolutely recommends Garnet doggy daycare! You will not be disappointed!
They took great care of our pup, Kevin, for the day. He had a blast on his walk and swim. Kat was very easy to get a hold of and provided pictures of Kevin's adventures. Drop off and pick up was easy. Price was very reasonable! Highly recommend.

He has been going there since he was a puppy after we had an awful experience at another daycare in Kelowna and we feel very blessed to have found this hidden gem!
Lenny, my three year old Aussie/Sheltie cross has been attending Dogsters both the day camp and for boarding for over a year now; most recently, he boarded there for nearly three weeks, whilst I was away on vacation. I am so happy with Dogsters. Jan clearly loves dogs and her actions show that. Lenny was nervous at first; just his nature; now he thoroughly enjoys being at Dogsters, I typically take Lenny to Dogsters twice each week, and Lenny gets excited before we arrive; quickly jumps out of the car and runs to be let in. Great place. I cannot recommend it too highly.
Our boy Norman loves going to Dogsters! Very calm and clean environment! Jan is great:) Norman gets wildly excited when we mention we’re heading to day camp!
Hands-down, the best place in Kelowna. Hugo visits Jan and the doggy crew every summer for the past two years now. Soon as we pull up, he’s howling in the car and wagging his tail ready to meet his friends for the day!
Maxi had a great time running and playing with all his newly made doggy friends at Dogsters! We appreciated following @dogstersdaycamp on Instagram to keep up with our boys latest shenanigans and playful wrestling matches. We felt comfortable and trusted Jan to provide the best care for our fur baby while we were away. She was very accommodating and allowed us to pick Max up for family time during the day on the Okanagan Lake and drop him off for sleep overs at night where we are sure he and his friends partied all night. Would highly recommend Dogsters Day Camp to families looking for someone to treat their pets as one of their own until they're back in your care.

We are so pleased to find Dogsters Day Camp for our precious French Bulldog, Ace. From our first meeting with Jan, we felt at ease leaving our boy knowing that safety is her number one concern with all the dogs. Ace is excited for his visits, and very relaxed when we arrive to pick him up!
My pup had a great time with Heather at Naramata Kennels! We are from out of town and she was able to book Chevy in for a day stay while we ran around exploring penticton and floating the channel. He was so pooped when I picked him up, he must of had a blast with the other dogs there! They have big grassy fields with kiddie pools, sprinklers, balls, and tall fences all around if your worried about jumpers/escape artists. Heather was so friendly and made his stay very easy and effortless for me; I will definitely have Chevy stay here again when we plan our future trips.
First time visit today, this place exceeded all of our expectations! Firstly, the staff (Heather and Jen) were incredibly friendly and professional. Our french bulldog took to them right away. Secondly, the facility was fantastic! Tons of space for the dogs to run around and play, multiple kid pools around the property for the dogs to stay cool and exceptional gating and monitoring of the dogs at all times. We are overjoyed to have such an amazing dog daycare in the South Okanagan area and highly recommend this place. Two paws up!!
I can't say enough about what NBK has done for our 6 month old Jacksen. He loves Heather and Jen and is learning to be around other dogs and getting more confidence, not to mention it tires him out. Heather and Jen are amazing with the dogs and their facility is great. Grass fields with pools and constant supervision. I highly recommend NBK daycare.
Our pup had a blast! She was in great hands too, very good people who know what they're doing. We dropped our pup off for 4-5 hours while we were our floating on the channel. Highly recommended!

Sully had a great time at Naramata while we floated down the river! Such a beautiful place with lots of sp for the dogs to run around. He even went swimming in the kiddie pool to cool down!
Those two need to talk to each other. One week one says we want her to become a member and the next week the other says they don’t want her back. Ok. Hearing the same from others now too.

Katy is such an amazing person and caretaker for your beloved pet. She has watched my two cats a few times and they are always extremely happy after her visits. My shy girl hides from everyone but makes biscuits and purrs for Katy. She sends lots of pictures to keep your mind at ease.

Katy is the best dogwalker ever! My dog, Mischa, and I miss her so much after she recently moved from Vancouver. For years, she has consistently made Mischa (and all the other dogs) happy and taken them on quality hikes. Katy is very conscientious and truly cares about the happiness and well being of all the dogs in her charge. She is also communicative, accommodating and understands the needs of dog owners. She always provides photos of the hikes and boarding and I was always at ease knowing Katy was taking the best care of my Mischa. Oh, and she also took great care of my kitties when they were alive. Katy was always 100% dependable!
Katy at Furkids is fantastic. She was our dog Jaq's walker and border and we are really going to miss her now that she has moved to Kelowna. Jaq was always so excited to see Katy for his walks and I had full trust that he was in amazing hands while we were away. Katy is a great communicator and would send daily pictures of all the adventures he was having, some attached here. I have already recommended her to friends in Kelowna and will continue to do so!
We love Katy!! Honestly, it’s been hard to find reliable pet care and our two little dogs don’t do well in kennels. We have a mini poodle and a shitzhu poodle mix. We found Katy through a referral and I can confidently say my two pups get so excited going to her house which makes us happy and worry free! She sends updates and pictures all the time and you can really tell they get spoiled like they’re her own. Yes, kennels are probably a bit cheaper, but knowing our dogs have freedom, friends, cuddles and lots of play time along with hikes makes home boarding 100x better. Dogs are so smart and ours have shown us when they don’t vibe with someone. They adore Katy and her two little dogs Kevin and Pogo! We’re no longer stressed about planning trips and who’s going to puppy sit. Highly recommend Katy for boarding, day care or even just taking your dogs for a hike! She’s the best! Thank you Katy for all that you do for our boys!

Katy is absolutely excellent. She’s cared for our dogs for nearly nine years. I really don’t know what we would have done without her. She’s welcomed our babies into her home and family like they were her own. Our dog knows what days she’s coming and eagerly sits at the door each morning for Katy to arrive. We have used all of Furkids’ services (hikes, boarding and photography), and couldn’t be happier! Everything Katy does is with care and love for her Furkids. Katy communicates well, always finds a way to help, and goes above and beyond expectations! She even includes amazing fun photos of the hikes each day! Choose Furkids, I promise, you won’t regret it!!
Katy was absolutely fantastic with our pup! He stayed with her for a week while we went on a vacation and Katy was lovely - she kept us updated with cute photos, stories and videos every day, and took him on great walks. She is truly passionate about giving the best care to your furkids, we can’t recommend her enough.
Katy is the best there is. She walked and boarded my dog for years but that was just the tip of the iceberg: she truly cares, she is 100% reliable, and she is a really wonderful person. My dog was so excited every time she saw her, which speaks volumes... and it was a relief to know she was in such good hands every time I went away. Katy is also awesome with cats. And you get amazing pictures! It was like losing a family member when she left Vancouver, and I don’t think we’ll ever be able to find her equal. Suffice to say, I would not hesitate to recommend her - walk don’t run to have your fur kids in her care!
Katy from Furkids Pet Care is truly fantastic. As most pet owners are, we are very particular as to who we entrust with our quirky boy, Bob the Dog - and back in 2018 Katy checked all the boxes, and we've been with her ever since. Katy is wonderful with animals - she puts their safety at the forefront at all times, and makes sure all her packs are perfectly suited to each other. She gives them so much love and attention, and Bob just adores her! On top of that, she takes absolutely stunning pictures on her walks - we always looked forward to receiving them after her time with Bob, so we could see all the shenanigans! While we do miss her terribly, we are happy for Katy and her new start in Kelowna, and highly recommend all of her services.
Karen Pukanski is amazing with animals. She took care of my 2 dogs (1 that needs medication) and cat. The dogs went out for many walks. I could see by the pictures she was sending me that they were having a wonderful time. They received lots of cuddles and treats. Very spoiled animals just the way I like it. It's so nice to have a stress free day or two to myself because someone that I trust is watching my babies.

Our 8 year old, high energy, less social gsp's (brother and sister) had their first ever boarding experience last week. The farm was so good with them, catered to their social needs, and kept us updated all along when we needed it. Can't express how happy we were to have had them stay there. 10/10 would recommend, and will definitely be bringing them back!

I am blown away by Dogg about boarding services :) Linda and Arthur, the owners, and the staff provide compassionate, knowledgeable, attentive, patient and highly experienced care. All the staff provide a loving, attentive, nurturing environment. The facilities are immaculate, modern, comfortable, and well equipped. My dog, Daisy looks forward to coming to daycare during the week and gets along well with all of the other dogs. Like one big family. The expert training and personalize care have made a huge positive result in Daisy’s behavior. After moving to West Kelowna over a year ago, I needed to find a daycare and boarding service for my (then) 8 month old Berniedoodle. We tried a few other places both in West Kelowna and Kelowna and they certainly were not the fit for Monte. Then we came across Linda and Art - from the initial contact and the interview process I was impressed! And then we started going and getting to know them and that was it! Their dedication to their work, their love for what they do and the level of care they have for my Monte is second to none. I honestly don’t know how I would have managed this last year without Auntie Linda and Uncle Art! They have expanded their team and seem to have found individuals who share the same mentality for the work they do and care for those who attend. Thank you both so much!!
My dog Brigus has had the very best experience at Doggabout Daycare and Boarding. He attends twice a week and can’t wait to go in. He boarded for 6 nights while we were on holiday. I can’t recommend them enough for the best facility and personal care that he is given. If you need a safe and happy place for your dog to have fun and socializing give them a call.
My dog used to dislike being dropped off at other peoples houses, daycares, boarding places and Kennels... But man does our dog LOVE to go to Dogg About. Makes my wife a little Jealous on how excited our dog get's when she knows she's going to spend the day there. Highly recommend!
I cannot say enough about Lynda and Art. My dog is high energy w/ high separation anxiety. Art and Lynda were patient and provided me with much guidance after working to see that she would integrate with the dogs that are already here. They did not take her in without checking both myself and her were a fit which is significant to me as new dogs have to work with my dog and that provides me with significant comfort everytime she is dropped off. I could go on and on but the facility is clean and Art and Lynda truly care about your furry family.
We highly recommend this place! Arthur and Lynda are wonderful! My dog gets so excited we go there and is so tired when he gets home! We love the Instagram reels of dogs enjoying their time there!
Can't say enough good things about Arthur and Linda at dogg about! Our golden absolutely loves going there as apposed to a different dog daycare where he would flop outside the door and did not want to be there. Lynda, Arthur and the staff at DOGG About have a done a fabulous job with our dog since starting doggy daycare a few months ago. Five stars!
We have been taking our 3 year old French Bulldog here weekly for almost 2 months now and he absolutely loves it. The owners Lynda & Arthur are amazing and love all the dogs like their own! The facility is awesome and very clean! We are so happy we found them & would highly recommend!
The facility is very clean. The staff are very nice and clearly love the dogs. They are particular with how things are done in the best interest of the dogs.
Sandee is amazing. Our two dogs both love it here. Treated well, many toys to play with, and a pool. They even got to pick their room!
Wanted to possibly book our puppy there and went to see the property & meet the Owner. The lot was filthy! No grass. What little equipment that was there was filthy. Crap everywhere/tools/broken wire fences. They keep dogs in a back shed with a futon in it & lousy loud rock music playing constantly. I was mortified. I couldn't imagine leaving my Morkie puppy alone in one of their sheds. The Owner was fake overly friendly but quickly lost her patience. The property is NOT what it portrays on the website. We drove away thinking "no way". We left our puppy with another establishment.
We've been taking our dogs (and cats) to Whiskers and Woofers for years and I'll tell you that this is hands down the best place you'll find for boarding your pet. My dogs are always super excited when we drive up to the property because Sandee shows them so much love and attention and there is plenty of room for your bowser to run and play. She'll even tell you what friends they made during their visit and what they enjoyed. You might be on vacation while your dog is here, but certainly your dog is having more fun than you. Expect your pooch to sleep well once you return home as they get lots of exercise and attention.
Where do I start?! Lets start with the recommendation, if you're looking for an excellent place to have your puppy stay while you're away and know that they will be looked after, this is 100% the place for them to go. I dropped our two puppies off before we went on holidays and would receive updates throughout our time away. Whiskers and Woofers had been recommended to us by our doggy daycare. We came home to our puppies being happy and clearly well cared for. Sandee, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for looking after our girls while we were away. It had been over two years since we had travelled and we were both comforted knowing that they were being looked after. Circumstances what they were, we were also very thankful that our Winnie was in great spirts and that she spent her time doing what she loved, playing, socializing and napping. We have you to thank for that. :) Cadence will be back the next time we are in need of someone to look after her. Thanks again -M&A
Great individual care of our pet. This not a kennel with a bunch of cages your pet gets stuffed in. It is a ranch up in the hills and very limited pets taken per day. Our dog has special needs and is looked after very well. Text and picture updates if you ask!! Sandy is a true animal lover and we couldn't feel more comfortable leaving our pet there.
Our rescue girl LOVES Sandee. Our girl is afraid of her own shadow half the time and doesn't have much trust in humanity anymore, but just adores Sandee. As soon as we say her name she gets the full on head tilt and starts doing zoomies because she knows she gets to go play and rip around. Sandee always takes good care of my baby and sends pictures if we are gone for extended period of time. She is the best, hands down!!!
We love (as does Jordie) Wiskers and Woofers. He is always treated very well and enjoys his stay. Sandee us wonderful to all the furry kids!
We absolutely LOVE Sandee and Whiskers & Woofers! Our dog is deaf and we have always been concerned about leaving her at regular kennels of fear that she won’t get the special attention she needs. We trust Sandee with our pup and our pup absolutely LOVES going to play all year ‘round! There is no one else we would leave our pooch with. Thanks Sandee!
Sandee makes me feel safe to leave my precious baby. I am consistently impressed by the calm environment. When the fires came, Sandee managed the animals' trauma with grace and professionalism. I highly recommend this facility.
Our puppy (well not so puppy anymore) loves doggie day camp, meeting other pups and she always comes home happy. Our four cats stay with Sandee too, but being cats they would much rather be home scritching our furniture - next best thing to Home tho! We were going to give Whiskers a one star review cause we are a bit selfish and particular and want to be able to book at the last minute :)
