Katie was a lovely host with great communication! She had everything prepared for us upon arrival including age appropriate toys/ activities for our 2 kids. Our stay was for 3 weeks and they were kind enough to pick us up from the train station as well as take us grocery shopping before their flight out. Sky is the best dog! We really enjoyed our time walking him around the beautiful and historical city of Winchester. We all loved playing with him too... especially our kids! Padme the cat is a cutie too. She's very sweet and easy to care for. She really only meows when she's ready to eat. I definitely recommend this housesit! Katie really wants the housesitters to enjoy their stay and that's exactly what we did!

I had a delightful time caring for Kate and Reg's 3 sweet cats and cozy home. Kate and Reg provide detailed welcome information answering any questions you may have about the stay, and share an easy open style of communication before meeting, and during the stay. They are wonderful folks that you will be delighted to get to know if you are fortunate to have some time to spend together before the sit. They are generous of soul and spirits and the kind of folks you will look forward to getting to know better! Each of the cats have lovely and unique personalities - with Piscine being the most affectionate, Little Moe the most attentive, and Radar the most "cool and confident" - so they have really nicely balanced energies, making them a fun trio to care for. Kate, Reg, & their cats live in a beautiful area along the river, with kind neighbors who are wonderfully welcoming too! The house has a lot of natural light and is filled with beautiful art filled with character, making one feel truly centered. The town is also right beside Stratford (perfect for seeing theatre shows in the summer), close to pick-your-own berry fields (if you want deliciously fresh fruit), and near London (for a city excursion too). Inevitably beautiful in any season, you should come and discover this wonderful community, care for these friendly kitties, and meet some fabulous people! I look forward to coming back again! 5 stars all around!
Charlie is one of those gentle giants and a big cuddle bunny!! He let me share the bed and the couch although he did let me know if I was on the wrong end - lol. We had great walks and runs fetching the ball and boy is he fast with those long legs! Charlie is a very smart dog and can definitely tell the time so set your watch for meal time - lol. He’s a ham when it comes to treats. It was the only time he would retrieve and drop the toy to get it filled with treats. Brittany was so well organized with care instructions printed out for ease of use. Special care for Charlie was well explained so I felt very comfortable. Their home across from Queen Elizabeth Park was awesome for walks and Charlie has the best recall off leash that I’ve ever experienced. I want Brittany to train my next dog!! Thanks Brittany for trusting precious Charlie to my care. I’m happy to sit again if the opportunity arises. Catherine
This is the perfect house sit if you want to experience the beautiful, English countryside! The surroundings are completely stunning. Don't let no horse experience deter you: I did not have it, but it went great. The horses are straightforward to take care of. The dog is lovely too. Someone experienced came and helped me a couple of times a week, and took me horse riding. I really appreciated that. To sum up, this was a nice opportunity to connect with nature in a tranquil and beautiful environment!
Some people and pets will be imprinted in your memory and hearts forever. Debbie and Nigel and the sweetest dog Aggie are those people and that pet for us. We couldn't have received a warmer welcome to the lovely town of Bury. When travel plans were changed, Nigel communicated with us in a timely and kind manner. We were lucky to share some meals and conversation with Debbie and Nigel, along with plenty of cuddles in front of the fire with Aggie. We really enjoyed exploring Bury and walking with Aggie in nearby parks. We're already crossing our fingers for a return trip and a repeat of one of our favorite housesits.
