Sherry communicated well before, during and following the sit with us. The "boys" as she calls them were very lovable and enjoyed accompanying us on the beautiful hiking trails in the area or on a leisurely beach stroll near their home. I think we became fitter, going up and down the hills surrounding beautiful Maple Bay and playing with the dogs on their back yard obstacle course! We would eagerly offer to sit here again.
We loved sitting for Kathryn and the gorgeous JuJu. First of all Kathryn has an absolutely beautiful home high in the hills with spectacular views, our bedroom and bathroom were lovely, and the pool was fantastic. You really couldn't find a nicer home. JuJu was a darling, she is the most vocal cat we have ever looked after and we loved having conversations with her, she really did seem to talk to you, it was so comical and whilst she didn't want to actually sit on our laps for cuddles she still stayed nearby, which was just as good. That said, she also slept a lot of the time too, I think all that talking wore her out! Kathryn was really easy to communicate with and left great instructions, we were lucky enough to meet her and she even made us some Banana Bread, which was very kind and delicious. You really do need a car for this sit, but then I think you really do need a car for LA, so that probably isn't a surprise if you know LA. We would love to sit for Kathryn again. David and Stephanie
Karen and Bob have a lovely home and made us feel very welcome. Tikka is absolutely the sweetest and smartest dog we have sat yet. There are lots of beautiful hikes and walks in the area. We will definitely be back if circumstances work out!
Had a lovely time in Eli's apartment in Hillcrest! Great walkable location that we loved exploring. Archie is the cutest fluffiest puppy we had the pleasure of taking care of. Instructions for Archie's care and training were very clear and we could see him learning about the world each day. Eli was very responsive and made us feel right at home from the start.
We had a really amazing time here. Steve is very relaxed and welcoming. It's a cozy sanctuary in the desert on a nice big property that really makes you feel free. The stars at night are beautiful, the hot tub is very comfy and relaxing.
We had a wonderful stay in Jacquie’s beautiful, peaceful home. Jacquie and Charlie were very welcoming hosts and Ben was such a sweetheart! He is really gentle, funny and well behaved and we loved walking him in the beautiful surrounding countryside. We would happily look after him again in the future!
