Dawn was an awesome guest and sitter! Dawn watched my two energetic pups for 1.5 weeks while I was traveling for work. As a single lady, these dogs are my whole life, and Dawn made me feel really comfortable as it was clear they were being taken great care of. She took them on long walks and sent me lots of pictures of them snuggling and playing. During the trip, one of my pups was acting out a bit and was being possessive and territorial, and Dawn handled it with ease and kept me in the loop during her stay. When I returned, I swear that Dawn left my house cleaner than I had made it for her! She clearly cared for my space like it was her own. She left me a really sweet note about her stay and even left me with a memento magnet of the pups which was so thoughtful. Would highly recommend Dawn for any visit, and I hope if she wants to come back to DC again she'll consider staying at my house again! THANK YOU DAWN!!
Rachel was so great to come a day before we departed so we could meet and introduce her to our pups. They immediately were comfortable with her. We were out of the country for a month so communication was difficult at times but we would connect and all was good with the house and dogs. At one point Rachel contacted our vet to confirm all was good with Bandit which showed she was very observant with the dogs.
Ed and Sephie were extremely welcoming and helpful with our stay. They went above and beyond for us. Sully was an absolutely delight, and accompanied us on most activities. He is full of personality and the cause of many laughs and cuddles! The house is walking distance into the town and central to lots of day trips out of Cheltenham as well. I would highly recommend this house sit.
