Paige and John were great. They were very communicative, flexible with some hiccups in scheduling on my end, and resourceful with some issues the cats were having with a brand new litter box. They were friendly and sent periodic updates on our fur babies and left the place clean and tidy!

The annex was comfortable, the garden was spacious and lovely - particularly the large swimming lake - and the dogs, kitten, chickens, ducks and tortoise were all interesting to get to know and feed. The location is very quiet yet a short distance by car to the sea at Ventnor and Shanklin. Colin (the rest of the family had already gone ahead to the holiday destination) went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and train us in the feeding habits of all the animals. We were gobsmacked at his construction skills (turning decrepit barns into a luxury home, a solid annex and a fantastic workshop).
We would definitely go back if asked.

Tasha
Tasha was a well organized and meticulously grounded host, and keeps her home neat and tidy, as well as warm and welcoming; furthermore, Tasha is readily available by text/phone, if and when the pet-sitter needs to reach her. Sometimes, we would reach out to send her a photo of her lovable dog, Lux, and just let her know that "all is well," and she always responded in a timely fashion, which was lovely. One thing that we really liked about pet-sitting and house-sitting for her, was that Tasha left us a thorough and detailed note, which outlined all that she wished us to do whilst she was away. Even though she also gave us verbal instructions, it was comforting to have such a concrete note to fall back on. We really enjoyed our stay with Tasha's endearing dog, in her beautiful home. One of the highlights of our visit was being so close to Jyoti Bihanga, our favorite restaurant, on Adams Avenue. It was wonderful to watch Tasha's adorable dog, Lux, and in such a centrally located San Diego spot.
Thanks for a great experience, Tasha (& Lux)!

I loved my housesitting experience here! I had great communication with the hosts, and their dogs were the absolute best. I felt comfortable with the space, location, and responsibilities. Their home was clean and the space was as advertised. Highly recommend this family for your next sit, especially if you love cuddly dogs!

Christy
We had an opportunity to spend an enjoyable week taking care of Christy’s home and her two cats, Tomatillo and Finnigan. All interaction with Christy was pleasant and satisfying. She gave clear initial instructions in a friendly and responsive way. On matters of logistics, she was as eager to accommodate us as we were to accommodate her. And we never had a communication with Christy that did not end with her thanking us for taking care of her home and pets.

Christy’s home is only 600 sq. ft., but it feels larger due to the ceiling heights and natural light. We found more than enough room for ourselves and two cats to be comfortable. Christy’s home is near downtown Minneapolis, which is a marvelous city for its parks, restaurants, music venues, theaters, and other attractions. In this location, we expected noise, but it was remarkably quiet. Not once were we startled or irritated by noise. We also felt safe – neighbors and passers-by were friendly.

Tomatillo and Finnigan were easy to get along with. They were free to go outside and come back in through a small pet door. When they went outside, they did not go far or be gone for long. To our surprise, they both spent most of their time in their home with us. When they weren’t napping, Tomatillo wanted affection, and Finnigan was ready to play. We had no difficulties caring for Tomatillo and Finnigan. They ate somewhat inconsistently, but they both ate plenty; and they are clean cats that behave well.

We enjoyed our housesitting experience with Christy, Tomatillo, and Finnigan. We would do it again, and we recommend Christy and her cats to other housesitters.

Denise
The house sit was quite wonderful. Denise is a lovely lady, and her home was clean and spacious. Her two cats Bentley and Indigo, while shy and retiring, were very easy to care for and I really enjoyed my house sit. I would house sit again for Denise any time.

Bhora and Loopy are lovely, lovely, lovely! They have a beautiful home with lots of nature and a lot of space for them to run around! I loved taking walks on the property with the dogs off leash and they're super responsive so they always come back a few minutes to check in with you. You can see sheep, cows, mice, birds, and if you're lucky you'll get a rare glimpse of an owl or deer! The dogs were so sweet and I'd spend my days working in their kitchen with Bhora's head on my lap. Their home is truly one of a kind and there are some amazing cultural sites nearby: Stirling Castle, Doune Castle (this is where Outlander was filmed!), and the Wallace Monument (Braveheart fans will love it!). Carola and James were super kind and welcomed me into their family, I got to meet many of their kids and extended family as well! But the real gems are Bhora and Loopy, they are so adorable and love to follow you around and just be around you. I will miss those doggies for sure!
