It was so lovely taking care of Kyler, Kenji, and Konrad! They all have extremely unique and adorable personalities, though the quality they share is how much they love being with you. Seth was very communicative and helpful throughout the entire sit. On top of it all, the guest room was a lovely stay—I had everything I needed, including a huge beautiful backyard. The three pups are love bugs so you don’t need to worry about feeling lonely if you are new to dc!!! 💗

Janne and Ellen
Janne and Ellen were absolutely lovely to house sit for and their pups, Sam and River, are some of the sweetest we've cared for. Sam and River both have such unique personalities. Sam is definitely more laid back and River is more excitable and such a cuddle bug. Their house is on a fantastic bit of land that feels like you're out in the forest even though you're only 20 minutes from Seattle. We loved the whole space and Janne and Ellen were very kind and communicative throughout our stay. Would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my week watching and hanging out with the cuteness that is Mancha. Though we never got to the point of snuggles she got closer as the week went by and sometimes would sit nearby and even have a little chat with me lol. Overall Mancha is a pretty easy cat to care for. The apartment is cozy yet spacious with a lovely sunroom I spent many hours working in while Mancha hung out in the window getting some fresh air and sun. The location is in a great neighborhood (I actually live in the same area so I know it quite well) with plenty to do within walking distance. Sara and her partner were very friendly and easy going from the get-go and all communication was easy with quick text responses. I would highly recommend this sit for anyone considering :)

We feel so fortunate Cameron and Tommy invited us to stay in their beautiful home while looking after Jake, Sophie, and Vittles. They were well organized and thorough, removing any guesswork from looking after their property and loved ones.

Their home is in the perfect location for exploring Austin’s most popular wineries, as well as, a great selection of restaurants, BBQ joints and outdoor activities. To be honest though, we truly enjoyed our time "at home" the most. Not only was it the perfect place to get our work done, but we also enjoyed tending to the garden, spending afternoons in the backyard with Jake and Sophie, and playing with Vittles before bedtime. All three of their pets are fun loving and well behaved. For us, the most difficult part of this house sit was saying goodbye to these three. Each was a joy to be around and they will be missed!

In all, we'd highly recommend this house sit, especially if you love gardening and being in the company of affectionate (and adorable!) animals. Cameron and Tommy made us feel welcome from the very beginning and our two-week stay was beyond comfortable. Thank you again for having us!

We are extremely grateful that Sharon gave us this opportunity.  The off-grid eco-house in this beautiful place, at the foot of the Sierra del Nieves at about 500m height, is a nice place/environment to spend a few months.

We wanted to live the eco way and that worked out well here, we learned a lot from Sharon and the way of life, thank you very much for this Sharon.

The house is a lovely small 40m2 eco house with enough space, out and inside, to be comfortable. Access road to the estate is partly a steep, partly paved road with narrow passages here and there, but easy to do with a small camper (like our Peugeot Boxer) or normal car. To walk up one must not have difficulty with walking or in a lesser condition.  The nearest supermarket is 1km away (down hill), there is also a gas station and several other shops in the village of Alozaina.

When we came here there were no pets, but after two weeks 2 cats were brought to take care of.  After the cats adapted to the environment, it was a welcome addition to the daily routine.  Madeline and Lilly are very affectionate and playful, although they don't play together. The cats live outside, they have to catch mice after all ;-) but are waiting for you at the doorstep in the morning because they expect also the cat food from you.
Later on we met Chippy, the lovely dog of Shanon and spend a lot of time with him walking around the olive grove, thank you Chippy for your love and presence.

Furthermore, this house sit is only enjoyment, freedom and peace. Ensure that you collect enough water for the period that no rain falls.  Power is generated via the solar panels and stored in batteries, which is sufficient for daily use on cloudy days.  Hot water supply is by means of gas bottles.  Because it rains not often, it is certainly important that you are prepared to use the water carefully, we thought this was a nice challenge.

During the lock down period that applied in Spain in early 2020, we felt very safe in this place.  After the house sit, Sharon and her son welcomed us warmly to bridge the period of the lock down in our camper and their caravan on the estate, for which we are very grateful to her and never forget.

Again Sharon, thank you very much, we love you and your beautiful place, it was a amazing life experience!

We recommend every one, who want to experience the eco way of life, to house sit for Sharon.
