Dog Sitters in Old Tappan, NJ

Denise was well-organized from the moment we met her, so we felt confident to leave our animals in her care for three weeks while we were out of the country. She kept us up to date by sending photos and videos of our three cats and our dog, which she bonded with easily.

Andrew was an absolute pleasure to work with. When we came back, our home was perfectly tidy and clean, and our cats were relaxed. Andrew was independent and a great communicator. He sent us a few pictures of our pets that made us smile during our trip :) We would love to have him back!

Hannah is an excellent sitter! She has sat for my cats several times and always is reliable, communicative, and clean. Highly recommended!and

Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.

Irina was great she went the extra mile with my dogs who absolutely loved her. My house was spotless and she sent me pictures everyday to assure me all was well. She took her reponsibility very seriously and everyone was very happy Sue Ollemans

Helene was super in caring for my pooch. He is overweight and she put him In a diet after consulting with my vet. I appreciate that she did it because my dog knows to manipulate me and I give in. Now he’s on a diet and so far so good.🤗 Joey loved being with her. She played with him, took for walks when he really didn’t want to go. I recommend her highly.

Rachel and Marco were excellent sitters. They got to know my cat’s idiosyncratic likes and dislikes. They took good care of the house and were easy to communicate with before and urging the sit. They are welcome back here for other sits if they’re available.

What nice thing can I *not* say about this lovely human? Our first sitter had to cancel for understandable reasons and Skylar saved the day not a week from our departure date. We were able to video chat with her and were lucky enough to meet in person as she was already in the city. She is a kind, gentle, and trustworthy person with whom we immediately felt comfortable. We unfortunately had to leave while our girls were recovering from a minor health issue, but we were able to enjoy our trip knowing that Skylar was diligently watching them and keeping up their daily supplements. She provided regular updates throughout our trip, took great care of our apartment, and got on swimmingly with our cats. We were truly fortunate and could not have asked for better. 11/10 stars. Sophia took excellent care of Pepper and my apt! Sophia took notes about Pepper’s care on top of the instructions I sent. I received daily pics of Pepper and also received questions if she was unsure about Pepper’s behavior. Pepper loves to be taken outside in her bag and Sophia sent several pics of their excursions. Sophia even stayed late to give Pepper her evening meds on the night we were returning just in case our flight got delayed or rerouted…which I greatly appreciated! We returned to a well cleaned apartment…she definitely cleaned, not just tidied up and left. Sophia also offered to change our sheets/bedding before she left but I know changing the Duvet is a pain, so I said I would do it… Pepper seems happy and well cared for… you shouldn’t hesitate

Aaron has been exceptional. He has cared for my little Sara twice now, and each experience has been outstanding. He is extremely reliable, flexible, accommodating, and kind. Aaron provides regular, detailed updates—often hilarious—along with pictures, notes on bowel movements, activities, and behavior. He meticulously follows all instructions, from preparing home-cooked meals to administering medications. He is also very respectful of your home, leaving it in immaculate condition. In fact, I think my pet and home were in even better shape when I returned! Thank you, Aaron, for being an amazing sitter. We hope to have you back again soon!

Mary was amazing - took great care of my fur babies (even added one to the list last minute and she was SO understanding!) and my house - highly, highly, highly recommend!
