Where do I begin? I had the opportunity to care for Kates lovely pets for 17 days and had a really amazing time in her cozy apartment :)
Kate is very friendly and the communication was always very good, she answered quickly and was always very helpful; she also gave me the contact information to her daughter and son which was good, just to be safe!
Spending quite a bit of time with Effie and Orin, I must say I already miss them! They are both such lovely and affectionate pets and they are easy to care for. Effie is very well behaved, she always listened to me while out on a walk and in general she is a very chill and lovely dog. I think she gets a little overwhelmed with other more energetic dogs, or just in general when there's too much happening around her, so we always kept our walks short and sweet and she seemed content with that :) After all she is a bit older so she was content with the short walks and some treats!
Orin the cat is independent by day and loves to cuddle by night! He is a very affectionate cat and likes to sit on your lap when you work and likes to sleep near you which is very sweet. While I was there I noticed he likes to go out into the garden very early in the morning and spends quite a bit of time outside, but of course he comes right in time for dinner :D
The apartment has everything you need of course in terms of amenities and there is also a nice little garden where you can relax. The home is situated in a very friendly neighbourhood, people are glad to help and you meet lots of nice people when taking Effie for a walk. The area has a lot of nice parks around within walking distance and there are supermarkets and cafes and restaurants nearby, about 7 minutes by foot. There is a rather large shopping street just about 15 minutes away by foot. And there are great viewpoints nearby to look at the sunset over the London skyline! For example Canonbie Road and One Tree Hill at Honor Oak are very good spots for that :)

I can really recommend to look after Kates pets! She made this experience very nice for me and I enjoyed every day I was there :)
Wish you all the best,

Amanda
We had a wonderful time at Amanda’s house. It’s in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood, plenty of room. The cats are super chill and easy. They like attention, but are happy to keep to themselves as well. Vacuum for 5 min, feed them twice a day, and change the kitty litter once a day and they are golden. We had a great time!

I so enjoyed my time at Althea’s house! The house and gardens were so pretty, views spectacular! Tons of fresh fruit cherries, berries and the chickens provided eggs and the “girls” were very easy to care for. The little bunny Cheeseburger is oh so cute and fluffy! Lots of personality!
The kitties were a bit skitterish at first but came around and were very affectionate!
I don’t like to play favorites but Frankie Lou is a very sweet funny dog! Tons of personality and has bursts of playfulness! She did steal my heart!
Loved my stay there! Felt right at home the minute I walked in. So relaxing country setting but close to town. Highly recommend. Would definitely do again!

We interviewed with Kate via phone and then stopped by before our sit to meet her and the kittens, get the rundown about the house and a few little details about feedings and meds that were much easier to explain in person. Kate is such a lovely lady - very kind, hospitable, interesting and really funny too. We hit it off right away and had so much to talk about.

Tank and Whisper were a joy to sit, they are delightful and kept us laughing and thoroughly entertained the entire time. They have such different and fun personalities, they make a hilarious little duo! Tank is a love bug and warms up to you right away. He loves his mornings outdoors on the patio, getting loved on and snuggles. He is also an excellent communicator. Whisper played a little coy at first but warmed up quickly and we really enjoyed her playful and sweet personality. She LOVES her playtime (she will clearly communicate when it is time to play) and shoelaces. She would wait for us outside our bedroom door in the mornings and eagerly guide us directly to her toys for us to to start the day off with a little display of her toy hunting prowess and acrobatic skills. Tank would stop by to join in for a pounce or two as well, though he was a little more concerned with when breakfast was going to be served :) Thought they both enjoy socializing and playing , they are also independent and appreciate their “personal time”. One of our favorite things when we would check on them was to see them snuggling in their “cat condo”, so adorable.

Kate keeps a beautiful and clean home. Our room was very comfortable with lots of light, closet and drawer space and a spacious ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well appointed and we enjoyed cooking at home most days. The location is quiet, yet close to everything from beaches to parks, stores and restaurants.

We miss these cute little rascals and hope we get to spend more time playing with then in the future.

Erleta
Since Leta lives in the same neighbourhood as me, I did an emergency sit, looking after her cats for some weeks, but sleeping at my own place. This worked very well, since the cats Zoë and Charlie are totally independent. The flat is in the ground floor with a small garden, so they spend a lot of time outside. Having said that, they also like to be around people, and especially Charlie likes cuddles. Since they only eat dry food, no feeding schedule is required other than the bowl having to be filled when empty.
Leta is super friendly and communication with her was easy and uncomplicated!

Payal
I recently stayed at this wonderful home in San Francisco, hosted by the very kind and beautiful Payal. Her home is absolutely stunning. The location is perfect—just minutes away from some of the city's most iconic sites.

Payal was so accommodating and friendly, and always made sure I had everything I needed in order to make my stay comfortable. She would hear about the storms in San Francisco and make sure I had an umbrella or could use hers, or that I was just safe and comfortable in general.

But the best part about this stay was the ever so cute rascal, hoppin’, loving, cuddly, VESPER. I will forever cherish that boy in my heart and memories. He never fails to make you smile and will so often make you laugh! Whether it’s him hopping with joy for his walk, placing his head on your lap at meal times, or taking hours to find the best place to eat his treat, he is hilarious! He just brings out so much joy in you.

Love is a 4-legged word. And Vesper is love.

I would absolutely recommend this pet sit to anyone!
