Dog Sitters in Old Toronto

Wonderful sitter! Offered to come early to meet with us (even though they were coming from out of country!) Cared for our pup like he was part of their family, left our home spotless and well cared for, AND problem solved a clogged sink in our absence. SO grateful to have found such a kind and responsible people to be in our home and with our sweet boy.

Rachel was an amazing house sitter and petsitter. She took great care of our two dogs and cat. She walked them everyday, sometimes several times a day. I received regular updates and photos and felt very comfortable leaving our babies in her care. We came home to a clean and tidy house and I highly recommend her. Thanks, Rachel for being awesome!

Sharonah was really great with Ernie! She communicated often and sent dog pics, and really did a wonderful job with an active dog--for over a month. I highly recommend her.

Martina was so lovely and I am so grateful for her care of my darling Kiki. I came home to a very happy, calm cat and clean home. Thank you so much, Martina!

Jenna was a wonderful sitter for our home and our cat, Murray. She was extremely communicative, thoughtful and caring. Our home and yard were well taken of and our cat, Murray, was especially well taken care of. Jenna managed a health issue with our cat while we were away and everything turned out fine, thanks to her prompt attention. We would highly recommend Jenna as a home and pet sitter.

I had to leave for Greece on extremely short notice to take care of a family situation and was very lucky that I found Saygin who was able to travel all the way from Canada to take care of my cat Sesam. Since I had to leave very suddenly I didn't even have a chance to meet and introduce the flat and Sesam in person, neither was I able to leave things as neat as I had wished. During the sit, Sesam had an episode of throwing up (in the bed) and pooped on the sofa due to his chronic stomach issues that are acting up sometimes, the delivery of new cat food didn't arrive as planned, one of the shelves broke in the kitchen dropping a load of cans, and I didn't have my return trip booked until halfway into the stay. Through all of this, Saygin was super patient, helpful, and positive and it was clear that the wellbeing of Sesam was what was most important to him. I was also really touched watching the videos of Saygin and Sesam cuddling and I believe they both immediately took to each other. I feel very grateful to have found such a caring sitter and there was no time where I was the slightest worried that Sesam wasn't in good hands.

Meeraal was one of the best house sitters we've ever had the pleasure of hosting! Larry loved her! She took him for lots of fetch sessions and even to the beach. She took care of our home and also sent lovely pictures of Larry. We hope Larry can hang with Meeraal again soon!

We are incredibly happy with the sit Lydia and Nick did for us the other week, and we will be inviting them to sit for us again! We wholeheartedly recommend them as sitters for the following reasons: They were incredibly good communicators, just the right amount to make sure no issues are missed out and that we're in the loop with what's going on, but not too overbearing that we felt we were constantly in touch. We had extensive conversations about the needs of the cats and the house quirks when they arrived at ours and they were great at asking questions and clarifying where they felt they needed more information. They are reliable and punctual. We met at the arranged time/date and haven't had a single logistical issue the whole sit, although we always prepare for what cannot be controlled by either side! This made being away so easy logistically. They were very caring with our 3 cats, especially with our wee Chestnut who is a scared boy sometimes and required extra attention and effort to make him feel comfortable around new people. They made sure that Nirnroot, who is allergic to meat, kept to her diet and watched her while eating to monitor her food intake and keep the boys away from her. Lastly they definitely gave all 3 cats love, attention, affection and play time and made sure to send us a few pictures of them while we were away. They kept to the house rules and the cat clean up rules. The litters were clean when we came back, the cats were happy and relaxed and the flat was in pristine condition, everything was tidy and the dishes were all done. All round a wonderful experience and we are so grateful to have met them, we hope to also keep in touch as they are both great company too!

Andrei helped us out of a difficult situation at the last minute, and we could not be more grateful and happy with his and his partner's housesit for us. We got lots of text messages and photos over the month as they explored beaches and trails with Roo. The house, yard and car were all immaculate and obviously well cared for when we got home. Andrei is a lot more experienced at pet and housesitting than his profile reflects. Would love to have him back again. G&B

It was so lovely meeting Ilana and Michael! They are extremely competent and organized and Chewy warmed up to them immediately - which I was shocked by because he can be very territorial and usually takes a few days to warm up to people. They listened to my suggestions on how to introduce themselves to him and they hit it off! It’s clear they are very comfortable with animals and knows how to read their cues. When Ilana was first petting Chewy, I didn’t even half to warn her when he had enough - she picked up on it right away! (Nobody ever does) They very capable managing his complex dietary needs and medication. When we returned home Chewy was in a jolly good mood and seemed very content and it didn’t even look like we had guests at all. Our home was cleaner than when we left :) They are excellent communicators and kept in touch with funny experiences, photos and general reassurances that all was going well. I highly recommend Ilana and Michael and I am already trying to wrangle them in for some time in July!

Serena was a calm and caring presence in my cats' lives, kept our place neat and tidy, made herself at home (in nothing but a good way), and kept me notified about what the "furry folks" were up to. My vacation was all the better for knowing she was "tending the home-front".
