Roman and Macie took excellent care of both my dog and my home. They were also able to accommodate staying a couple of extra days as my travel needed to be extended. Highly recommend!
Kylie and Abby were fantastic! True animal lovers! They were kind and communicative throughout the entire sit, as well as meticulously followed all instructions. To accommodate my pets' emotional needs, they even brought along their own adorable dog, who hit it off immediately with my little Sara. Kylie and Abby took them on plenty of stroller rides, and the pictures melted my heart! They even got Sara her very own plush toy. They left everything clean and organized, and I came home to a very happy angel. I couldn’t have asked for better sitters and would love to have them and their little Charles Wallace back anytime! Thank you again!
We are so happy that we get to leave feedback and share our experience about this sit. It was a very special experience for us in many ways and we are super lucky to have had this opportunity, including having a returned sit arranged. Chris & Suzanne were absolutely the best hosts, they had great communication from start to finish and were very welcoming at each handover. They were organised and thoughtful and made the whole sit very streamlined, easy and most of all enjoyable. The welcome guide was fantastic, along with printed maps, walks and local things of interest. I personally really enjoyed Chris taking the time to share the history of their house and local area (history is an area of interest for me!) The home is beautiful, and historic with all of the modern touches you need. If you love the countryside and a great chef's kitchen to cook in then this sit is for you. Now onto why this sit was so very special to us. Whiskey the little rescue Pit, what an ambassador for the breed. She is the gentlest, sweetest, easiest dog that we have ever cared for. She was never demanding and loved to be loved and we were more than happy to give her that love (yes we loved bedtime & morning cuddles, but she happily slept on her dog bed when we needed more stretch room). She was a fantastic remote working buddy, a fantastic walking buddy and just a joy to have around at every moment. If you want your heart melted this is the dog for you. Then onto the fact that I grew up with horses and whilst there were no care responsibilities for the horses, just having them on the property and being able to pet them and give them a carrot was amazing for me. Suzanne was so lovely and kind in her introduction to them and it was such an enjoyable handover talking all things horse! The local area is beautiful with lots of walks on the property and we also loved taking Whiskey in the car (best passenger ever!) to all of the amazing local trails. If you can check out the Hampton estate it has lovely dog-friendly grounds. Chris and Suzanne gave us lots of helpful supermarket and restaurant tips. There are lots of things to do, but equally, if you like to cook and stay at home this is a great sit to do that too. Thank you Chris & Suzanne for everything and we can not wait to see you and Whiskey again.
We had the pleasure of meeting Nitish at the beginning of our sitting. He is an excellent person, very kind, and communicative. He gave us precise instructions in various formats about Milo's routine, the house, and the surroundings, as well as very useful recommendations for places to visit and services like laundry, fuel, supermarkets, etc. He communicated with us every couple of days, to make sure we were doing well and if we needed anything, showing his care from a distance. Milo is an adorable and very energetic dog. As the days went by, we connected more and more, getting to know his character and his moments—quiet times when he stays by your side and playful moments. The house is very warm and comfortable, and you can enjoy the birdsong and nature from the balcony. We are more than grateful to have met Milo and are already looking forward to seeing him again in a future sitting.
We had a great week looking after Dea and Badger in Lucy’s lovely home. We were in the heart of the village with a pub and shop in walking distance. Dea loved slow, sniffy walks and Otto was partial to strokes on the sofa. Thanks for everything Lucy.
We had the most wonderful time in Helen and Mikes country home with the extremely lovable Golden Doodle, Gaston. Extremely well trained and a pleasure to walk off lead as he never ran away and always came to us when called. Good training is so important! We enjoyed many country road walks with him, played ball etc. we enjoyed their home and felt very comfortable and relaxed during our two week stay. Visited a few towns and villages in the area and relaxed in the garden enjoying dinners outside as sunset not til 10pm! All in all a very good sit.
Easy and peaceful cat sit with Lulubelle and Elliot, they were lovely companions. The house is comfortable and cosy and very close to lovely green spaces plus there is a handy Co-op just 2 minutes away.
Peggy and Tom were absolutely wonderful hosts and welcomed us into their home like we were family! Their house is beautiful and Stella is the best little kitty anyone could ask to snuggle. Pawleys Island is a great location, close to the beach and numerous rivers. Nearby parks and gardens are terrific for day trips. I would highly recommend this housesit to anyone!
