Our stay with Winston and Piet was nothing but wonderful! Emily and Chris’s home is well located and was a breath of fresh air from the city. We felt very comfortable in their home and had no problems. Emily and Chris were incredibly warm and friendly hosts! They were always quick to respond to any queries we had, and their home was equipped with everything we could possibly need and more. They are extremely generous and easygoing. We felt very lucky for our experience and would do it again in a heartbeat. Winston and Piet will steal your heart as they did with ours. We already miss them so much.
Cathy and Damon were fantastic hosts, super friendly and very welcoming. We were lucky enough to spend Christmas and New Year in their house. Their beautiful home is very comfortable and situated in stunning countryside with lots of walks all around. The dogs Dot, Dudley and Rufus were a delight to care for and so affectionate. They loved their cuddles and liked to be with you at all times. Both Dudley and Rufus walked well on the lead and were also very good off-lead too. Dot the Bulldog did not need much exercise and was happy to potter around the gardens and paddock. The ducks and geese were very easy to look after and just required feeding every couple of days. The lovely village of Ditchling is within easy walking distance from the house and has pubs, cafes and some independent shops well worth a visit although sadly Covid restrictions limited where we could go. We had a great couple of weeks staying in Cathy and Damon's home looking after their pets and would highly recommend this sit. It was wonderful.
What a special time we have had house sitting for Gillian and Bill, and the very well behaved, affectionate, if sometimes illusive Stig. Gillian and Bill are warm and friendly host's who welcomed us into their beautiful home, leaving us with information on how to care for their home and Stig, and also keeping in touch while away to ensure we were comfortable, and enjoying our stay. We were fortunate with beautiful weather on our sit, so most evening's we enjoyed the amazing views and sunsets from the terrace, with hot air balloons floating down the valley. Our days were spent exploring the many lovely villages, with their ancient church's and delicious coffee shops. A very relaxing stay, in beautifull surroundings. A definite 5 star sit.
A great sit! Wonderful house and the cats are super sweet.
