We had a great sit at Charlotte and Adams’s lovely home. The dogs Peyto and Guinness were very well behaved and enjoyed their walks down the Fosseway. We arrived the evening before and had a lovely meal and a few drinks with them while they showed us around. Their home is in a beautiful part of the country with an excellent, friendly pub just up the road. Would definitely do this sit again and highly recommend it. Thank you Charlotte and Adam.
Housesitting for Eva and Bjorn was a real pleasure ! I came the night before and it was wonderful to meet them, I received a warm welcome, they are both so kind and generous. Eva is a real ray of sunshine and she always has a kind word or attention for you ! You will never be lost, they left me with very clear and detailed informations about how to take good care of Layla and Odin and even some nice recommandations to visit Amsterdam (Eva should definitely write a tourist guide haha), and were available any time to answer my questions or requests. But most importantly: the dogs ! Layla and Odin are sooo easy to take care of ! They are so well behaved and lovely. If you ever get the chance to take care of them you will see that they love cuddles (espacially Layla, she's a mix of a dog and a cat haha), they are very calm and always stay close to you during walks, they never pull the leash... anyway, you couldn't dream of easier furry balls ! If you get the chance to look after them, you definitely won't regret it ! Thank you again for everything Eva and Bjorn, I hope that I will get the chance to meet you and the dogs again ! We recently had the pleasure of house sitting for Amy, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the outset, Amy made us feel incredibly welcome in her charming and cozy home. She thoughtfully left out a selection of her favorite books, which added a personal touch. Her house is situated in a friendly neighborhood, conveniently close to various amenities, making our stay both comfortable and enjoyable. Freddy, Amy’s dog, is an older gentleman and set in his routines. Amy was also incredibly accessible and responsive throughout our stay. Whenever we had a question or needed advice, she was just a message away. Overall, Amy made this a very comfortable house sitting experience!
Housesitting for Camilla and David was exceptional in all ways from start to finish! As a housesitter coming to England from the U. S., I very much appreciated Camilla's timely responses and supportive communication leading up to the housesit. Camilla picked me up at the nearby train station, making for a very welcoming first day. Camilla and David live in a lovely, peaceful and friendly village within a few minutes drive from shops and services. Their home is absolutely beautiful and provided such a wonderful place to relax and unwind. My room was gorgeous with a very comfortable bed and village views. Mabel and Tiggy are loving and lively dogs and we would start each day with an active walk through the woods and nearby trails. They love to play ball in the yard and also are great snugglers on the sofa in the evenings - one on each side! I already miss them both, my daily invigorating walks, and the peace of the Newton Toney village. I hope that I will be lucky enough to return some day to spend time with "the girls" in Camilla and David's lovely home. Highly recommend this housesit and thank you, so much, Camilla and David for choosing me!
I can’t say enough good things about staying at Heidi and Jason’s place!! An absolute gem of a sit. Heidi was incredibly kind and thoughtful, and the communication was great. I was sitting for the tail end of a long trip they had been on, and so picked up the sit from another sitter. The hand off was so organized—Heidi and the other sitter had everything planned and well communicated. As for the actual stay, the cats are absolute loves!!! I enjoyed being there with them so much!! I also had more than enough time to get out and explore the city. The house was clean, inviting and cozy at the same time. I would sit here again in a heartbeat!! Thank you so so much Heidi and Jason!!
Sitting for Jennifer's adorable shibas in her lovely home was a delight! Both her schedule and ours had some fluctuations, and she went out of her way to be flexible and accommodating. Bodhi and Neesa are wonderful pups to be around - Bodhi is a quiet and cuddly senior, and little Neesa is a very sweet and fun-loving youngster, both very well-behaved. The El Cajon neighborhood in which she's located is quiet with great access to the interstate (I-8) as well as the many shops and restaurants downtown (and the view from her hillside house is spectacular!). She does feed the pups a raw meat diet, so make sure you're comfortable with that up front. ;)
