Lovely place with nice lady and very sweet pets. Percy (the cat) quite independent and not often seen (although he does like to follow along on dog walks); Mabel (dog) likes to be with you (and sleep on your legs when you're on the couch) and is very quiet and well-behaved. Lots of nice places to visit (and dog-walk) locally.
We had a lovely time loving after Gestzi at Anna's beautiful home. At first Gestzi was fairly shy but over time we gained her trust and she really warmed to us - so much so that in the end she was the cuddliest cat we've looked after and couldn't get enough pats & head scratches! Gestzi is very playful and also has many impressive moves haha - she's very nimble and likes to fly off the wall! Anna was super welcoming right from our first meeting and went out of her way to ensure we had the best stay (even leaving us christmas treats)! Thanks so much Anna & Gestzi we had a great time :)

My cavapoo had the best full groom at Petcare. Milene was kind and professional and charged a reasonable price for my dogs wash and cut plus nail clip. I paid €30 and was very happy with the overall result. Thank you Petcare.

Very good service! I have a shiba inu dog whose fur cannot be sheared and Milene knew exactly that and treated my big dog like a king! It smelled great and its fur was super soft, as well as having brushed out all the dead hair that it sheds when changing its coat. My house thanked me eheh I highly recommend it!
We have a little rescue dog, who had a difficult start in life. We were concerned about having to leave him at a dog hotel, but we needn't have worried. It was soon clear that everyone understood Lucas' needs and were happy to give him time and personal attention during his weeks stay. It was particularly reassuring to receive photos of him looking cheerful and having fun. When we collected him, he showed no signs of stress or trauma, in fact he seems more confident since mixing with other dogs and people. I also noticed how settled the rest of the dogs staying there were (and the wonderful cockatoo which could surely be heard in Porto!) Thanks to everyone, we shall be back.
My German shepherd has stayed here twice. She loves it. Owners fantastic and can't do more to help accommodate, sending pictures through whilst we were away, which was very thoughtful. Wouldn't leave our dog anywhere else!
From start to finish they have been amazing, the communication and the helpfulness is outstanding. I have every faith my 3 little ones are having a wonderful time.
I used this hotel for the last 4 years for my Malamute. I tried one other Kennel before this one, and although it wasn't bad, Pet Hotel do Algarve is better. I just left my dog there again this morning for nearly 3 weeks. I know he is safe and well treated. Below one of the pictures that they always send when he is there.
I used this accommodation for my rescue dog darla when I went back to England for 4 days for a family funeral. Pet hotel do Algarve were fantastic from the beginning before we got there. I mentioned Darla is usually very nervous at first and Claudio came on a walk with me and Darla so she could get to know him before I left and I could see immediately his manner is very calm and gentle and great with dogs. There are many places they can go for exercise, and the facility is really large and tidy. I received an update every day, and photos, and when I returned Darla was obviously so happy to be there, even crying when Claudio left her to go get her things! I highly recommend this lovely family run kennels.
I left my dog for the first time here and I’ve been so pleased of the way Christina looked after him. She clearly loves all dogs and treats them like her own. My dog absolutely loved it. The premises looks fantastic and have lots of space for play time. My dog came out happy to see Christina before he saw me which put the biggest smile on my face. I received a lovely video of him happily playing and enjoying himself too which put me at ease knowing he was happy and enjoying his stay. I definitely recommend to leave your fur babies here and I will be back many times from now on. Thank you so much guys
I come regularly, as a volunteer for a dog rescue, to walk a few dogs that stay at the Pet Hotel do Algarve, while we are looking for someone to adopt them. The family that runs the hotel is great and loving towards the dogs and look after them really well. The hotel has 2 big enclosures, where the dogs can run free and they make sure that their guests are regularly there, the paddocks are spacious and dogs sleep indoors ...some doggies stay there long term. I can highly recommend the Pet Hotel do Algarve.

Lisa looked after our cat for a week, who is actually very shy. We were very happy with Lisa, she is very professional, reliable and has a calm, friendly nature when dealing with cats. She sent photos every day and our cat wasn't so shy anymore. So we can recommend Lisa 100%. Thank you so much Lisa!
Lisa was absolutely amazing! She looked after our pet rabbit and hamster while we were away on holiday for 10 days. From the moment I enquired she was very friendly and I could tell she loved animals and their wellbeing. Lisa even suggested we meet with her before to get to know her better and talk about our pets. Our pets stayed in her guest room, and we received photo updates regularly from Lisa. Thank you so much Lisa, see you next time.

We are so happy we discovered Lisa! We've just returned from a three-week trip to be greeted by our three relaxed and happy cats, which is particularly amazing since one of them is still semi-feral and he is usually stressed by new people, but Lisa made friends. Our dog has been going to Happy Tails for her holidays for two years now, since we moved to Portugal. It is most definitely home from home and she loves it there. We are kept updated with several videos a day and I have complete trust and confidence in her care there. I cannot recommend Happy Tails highly enough!

Mónica is a very attentive person and concerned about animals. These animals are not in a box, they run happily outdoors, always under supervision. Owners receive frequent updates about their pets during their stay. It is the best pet hotel in the Algarve. I recommend it 100%.
