I had SUCH a lovely time with Tilly! She is the most adorable doggo, super friendly and great company. Tilly does like to know that you’re close by, she’s very happy with lots of love and cuddles (which I was very happy to give her!) and is good fun - she did make me laugh out loud on several occasions! We did some lovely walks around Penmon, it’s such a beautiful area, fantastic views of the Menai Strait and the mountains beyond. Helen is lovely, a great host and she really welcomed me into her home which is gorgeous & very cosy with mountain views. The neighbours are friendly, in fact the whole community is friendly! Really super stay, thank you Helen and Tilly!
Maine has a reputation for being both one of the friendliest states and as vacation destination/playground and this sit exuded both. Colette is a very welcoming host and did everything to ensure that I made the most of my time there. Her home is spacious, comfortable and within walking distance to a picture perfect coastline. Her dogs Spirit and Schooner couldn’t have been easier to care for and were great companions during my visit. Highly recommended!
We warmly recommend this sit in Francesca’s beautiful De Pijp apartment with Pedro & Nina! They are both such cuddly and sweet cats whose playful energy and quirks brought us plenty of laughs and love 🥰🐾🐾 We arrived the day before the sit to receive a tour and keys, which Francesca made so easy and smooth with her friendly and responsive communication. She made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable sit and stay in Amsterdam, so it was truly a 5 star sit in every regard! 🌟
We had a most enjoyable 3 months sit at Urs' & G's - a rural, quiet part of Khon Kaen (a temple on one side, a swinging little bar/bistro with live music on another & rice fields on the rest). Not only did they leave us the use of the scooter, the property is located within walking distance to great wet market, food stalls, Tesco & numerous restaurants - everything we needed for a very comfortable housesit. Three dogs, 2 cats, 3 ponds of fish & a big cage full of birds, a big house & garden kept us on the go - thankfully with the help of G's brother! G met us at the airport - was most welcoming & made us feel very much at home right from the get go; familiarised us with habits/routines/quirks of pets & feeding schedules; introduced us to potential trouble-shooters in case we needed help....We had spoken with Urs on Skype a few times before arrival & he had virtually walked us through the property, introduced us to pets etc - so we had a good idea of what to expect...but the house sit, their generosity in time & spirit was beyond expectation. Thank you guys for sharing your pets & house with us - was a pleasure to meet you G & hopefully meet Urs another time.
Maryam and David were very welcoming on our arrival. We had a lovely evening with them, their children, Whisky and Olaf. On this occasion we only looked after Olaf the cat, but could see Whisky had a lovely temperament. Olaf was very easy to look after, he warmed to us quite quickly and we really enjoyed his company. After a couple of days, we were able to stroke him and brush him. The house and gardens were wonderful, with so much to enjoy. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, having our own separate bedroom and shower room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend sitting for Olaf and Whisky.
Rose & Blue we're great to sit for. Blue is such a sweet and playful boy! Rose was very communicative throughout and her apartment was clean, comfortable, and so cute! Located in easy walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. We loved our visit!
