An easy 5 stars across the board. Lauren is every pet owners' dream. She's reliable, a great communicator, friendly, and clean. My dog was incredibly cared for, which meant so much because I was so nervous to leave her for two weeks. I could tell my dog was so happy and healthy when I returned and my place was spotless.
Absolutly loved sitting for Ann & Min! The house is beautiful and the cats, Pierre, Tulip and Alice were all so great and easy to look after. I felt completely at home, and it is in a great location with Aldi, and an Organic grocer right up the road and lots of cafes etc. Would happily sit for them again!
Our visit to Portland was wonderful! Our time hanging out with Jackson and Zoey was our favorite part of the whole trip! They may be small but they have the biggest and best personalities! SUCH cuddlers! <3 Jade and Geremy were wonderful hosts and so easy to communicate with. They gave us some great recommendations for food and drinks. Their home was so comfortable and the coffee was to die for! Overall this was the best first experience with TrustedHousesitters and I hope we get to visit Jackson and Zoey again in the future!
Dai and I work in the same industry and had a couple of mutual friends by coincidence so that made the intros easy!! Had a fun 4 days at Dai's very charming tasteful and cosy cottage with Cerys who's very smart very playful hi energy but also very chill especially after her walk though she could play 24/7 in her ideal world! Loves to play ball and we certainly burn a lot of energy on the fields playing. She is not a problem with other dogs or people though if you have a ball in your hand she barely acknowledges anyone except you and the ball )) Had a brill 4 days and Dai a charming friendly host with a very interesting life story...
We (Josh and children) had the pleasure of staying at Liz and Keith's beautiful house nestled in the serene countryside of Buckinghamshire. Their house is a masterpiece of spacious interiors and luxurious amenities, including an exercise room, which allowed us to maintain our fitness amidst the tranquility of the countryside. We were captivated by the stunning views of sprawling fields and the very nearby Stowe Gardens; Liz gave us a guided tour with JoJo, a lovely white Cavapoo, who added another layer of warmth to our stay. The children couldn't get enough of her affectionate nature, and JoJo quickly became our constant companion, even throughout our three meals per day (JoJo also received three meals a day). In addition, an old Siamese cat, Rosie, with her wise eyes and gentle demeanour, quickly became a beloved member of our family. It was a joy to see the children bonding with Rosie and exchanging affectionate strokes with her. With two living rooms to relax in, we were spoiled for choice when it came to unwinding after a day of exploring Stowe and nearby sceneries. The giant TVs provided endless entertainment options, perfect for cozying up with the whole family for a movie night or catching up on our favourite shows, while we relaxed on a comfortable sofa, next to a side table, on top of which was a book about Disraeli, who had resided in the same shire. It was a thoughtful touch that added depth to our stay, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the rich tapestry of the region's heritage. Overall, our experience at this Buckinghamshire modern house was nothing short of magical. From the breathtaking surroundings to the luxurious amenities and their welcome meal, helpful son and granddaughter, charming pets, etc., it was the perfect retreat for our family. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the memories we created together in this idyllic setting.
This has been one of the most fun sits we have done so far, if not the most fun. Zebda is such a sweetheart!! She's smart, fun, and super sweet to be around. She LOVES to play and is amazing to play with. She, also, cuddled with us every night. We will definitely miss her loads, and we hope we get to spend some more time with her in the future. She is most certainly the highlight of our sit! It was a pleasure meeting Mostafa. Communication with him has been super smooth. He made sure he met with us before he left, showed us around, gave us all the info we could need, and also introduced us to Zebda. Mostafa's place was very clean. It had everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. The apartment is very well connected, which meant we could be in the heart of Amsterdam in no time. Overall, we'd strongly recommend this sit for our fellow pet sitters :)!
This sit was far too short and I would love to return another time! Indeed I was greeted by a good old bark from Miss Red! She made sure that I noticed her presence! Red is a lovely dog, once she knows that you are there for her, her new friend. She loves to go on a walk. Feels a bit uneasy when a bus or truck passes by, but by talking to her and distracting her, it works out fine. We also did a bit of jogging each day. She likes to follow some commands in order to receive a treat. In the evening she likes to lie down near the couch preferably underneath a blanket. She also chooses to take time off for herself when she goes to the conservatory for a snooze. Leah made sure that I was feeling at home and while she was away, she was available for questions. She knows Red inside out and her description about cheeky Red is accurate. And yes, Red does show you her bum and likes you to give it a good pat! There is a nice shopping centre at walking distance from the house. If the weather is bad, you can go to one of the tea rooms there to enjoy a coffee. There is a nice large table in the dining room to use for work/study. And I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen! Leah: Thank you so much for this sit and the lovely talk we had when we met.
