Cat Sitters in Ombersley

Malcolm and Jinny looked after our two young and demanding Siamese cats and our home superbly. We had to arrange a remote handover and introduction to the cats via a long-standing friend of ours and Jinny and Malcolm accommodated this arrangement; we regret that we couldn't meet them ourselves. We returned home from our holiday to an immaculate house, a vase of flowers, a card and some very happy cats! So pleased that Malcolm and Jinny were able to explore the local area whilst they were here too. Thank you so much.

Philip was great with our cat and seemed a very pleasant, communicative and reliable sitter, who looked after our pet for 7 weeks. He was good at communicating and sent us regular updates. However, when we returned we discovered that he had used all our canned food, olive oils, kitchen roll, rice, loo rolls, fish and other foodstuffs we have yet to discover! When challenged he replied that I had said he could help himself, but conveniently forgot that I had added that he should replace anything he used, as we did not want to return to find there was nothing left. A 7 week sit is very different from a short one, where the use of a few food items would be more acceptable. He has not offered to compensate us or replace any of the items used, fully or partially, which we feel is thoughtless and selfish. We are really disappointed. In retrospect I should have sent text or other written messages to Phil to make the replacement of goods used abundantly clear.

We were fortunate enough to secure Alan and Sheena as our house sitters to look after our beloved Terra and our home over Easter. Alan and Sheena are the Dream Team of house sitters. Warm, friendly, clean, organised, trustworthy. We met Alan and Sheena prior to the sit. My husband and I felt at ease straight away and knew our home and furbaby would be looked after very well. We enjoyed our break immensely as we knew everything was in good hands back home, updates of Terra were sent through regularly and our home just as we left it. We would have no hesitation in recommending Alan and Sheena to look after your home and pets. Thankyou for caring for Terra and our home like it was yours. Hopefully we meet again someday!

Sarah was an excellent sitter, extremely helpful and communicative, very friendly and trustworthy and kept us updated throughout our night away. This was the first time we had used a sitter and Sarah was fantastic, which gave us great peace of mind.

Annie and Linton were wonderful pet sitters to Rachel and Phoebe. The communication was great from the beginning to the end and I could really feel that my furry girls are in good hands. I also really appreciated how they found a solution when the flight was canceled last minute, which only shows how reliable they are. Both Rachel and Phoebe were happy upon my return and I could see clearly that they connected with Annie and Linton! Especially Rachel who came to collect the last cuddles before they left. And the apartment was also kept tidy and nice. I can certainly recommend them for anyone looking for kind and experienced sitters for their pets.

Kevin and Judith were efficient, reliable and caring petsitters from the start. They agreed without hesitation to arrive the night before my departure so we could run through details. We had builders working adjacent to the house but this did not bother Kevin ad Judith who were extremely tolerant of any noise/deliveries etc. The animals were very relaxed and well groomed(!) when I arrived home. Thanks so much to you both, I hope we can see you again in the future.

I was very apprehensive about leaving my dogs, as I'd not had a house sitter before. After meeting Rick, I went away at ease with the situation. The dogs seemed very content. Rick updated me and sent photos each day, which was lovely. Definitely recommend him as a house sitter.

I would, wholeheartedly, welcome both Charlotte and Verity back anytime. They were kind, thoughtful, and we came back to a well-kept apartment. Max (cat) seemed happy and calm, which always puts us at ease. My plants and Christmas tree I still haven’t taken down were sufficiently watered. Charlotte was also sweet about my inability to use this site. A friend of mine referred me and I had just listed my dates pretty last-minute. I set up my account and had to ask her a few questions to get it all settled. Never did I feel judged, just helped along the way. I truly appreciate them both and hope they return for Max sometime in the future. Thank you, ladies!

Christine and Julian are excellent catsitters! Before they arrived they stayed in constant communication and were obviously keen to make sure everything was ok. They kept us up to date on a daily basis, sent us lots of photos and put our minds at rest that our cats were being very well looked after. They were both really friendly and very responsible about being in control of other peoples pets in other peoples houses. When we got back the house was spotless, and it was very obvious that our cats had been loved to death! As Julian is a dog lover and Christine is a cat lover they can clearly accommodate any requirement (including sheep apparently!!). We will definitely be in touch with them as a first port of call for any future planned trips. We would highly recommend Christine and Julian for anyone needing pet sitting. Brilliant!!

Keisha and Aeisha we wonderful. They kept in contact, sent us regular photos, kept the house tidy and clean and we had very happy dogs! Would highly recommend. Two very conscientious young women!

I didn’t actually meet Paul and Jan except via FaceTime. However, I needn’t have worried. They kept me fully informed about their arrival and departure - as well as some of the places they were able to visit during their week’s stay. I returned home to a beautifully clean house and a very contented cat. Communication was good and it’s great to know they would be happy to stay again. I was able to relax totally on my break with friends in Spain, confident both my home and my elderly cat were in safe hands. Thank you Paul and Jan!
