I loved pet sitting here! Kim is amazing, welcoming and fun to talk to. She was leaving early on the day of Thanksgiving, so she invited me to stay over the night before. That was nice as she was present when I met her beautiful Paprika and dignified Cadbury. She was also fostering Creamsicle who was eager to be loved - what a purr machine! I hope he finds the perfect home. All three love to play and she has great enrichment items and comfy sleeping areas for them. The cats were easy to care for because Kim has excellent systems in place. If I texted a note or an update, she texted back almost immediately. The apartment is quiet, clean and super comfortable. I had no problem parking and the neighborhood is wonderful. So many great markets and restaurants. I also appreciated the proximity to the R train which got me into Manhattan quickly. My weekend activities where hectic and I was always so happy to get back and enjoy all three kitties. I really just wanted to stay in, drink tea and enjoy the gang.
We had a great time looking after Beanie and Bob! Beanie is still a young dog only 1 year old so she needed a lot of attention which for us was really nice. She followed us around the house and really interacted with us a lot. We went for many walks with her, it’s a really beautiful area with much to explore. Bob the cat was shy at first but soon came purring and cuddled us while we watched tv which was so great! The house is also gorgeous, we really loved it. There are fireplaces, a huge bath tub and an amazing garden, we felt spoiled. The pet parents were also really nice and made us feel welcome, they’re a very nice family.
It was a pleasure sitting for Tiffany and getting to hang out with Dori for a week. Dori is a very sweet older dog; we went on walks every evening and spent the rest of our time lounged on the back porch. Super easy sit and a fairly centralized location to get to Monterrey, Carmel, San Francisco and more within a little over an hour.
Staying at Julie's with Floof and Endeis was a treat! Both kitties greeted me at the door upon arrival and were very welcoming. They entertained me as well! The location is awesome as I walked to the coffee shop on the corner for my morning cuppa, explored the neighborhood and downtown. Her home is comfortable, quiet and feels safe.
It was a pleasure to look after Teddy and Charlie for the weekend . Kathy and Andrew were extremely welcoming to their lovely home and having used trusted house sitters many times they furnished us with more than ample information. Their house is located in the heart of the market town of Uppingham with grazing sheep at the bottom of the garden. It's an ideal base to explore the many places of interest in the area and Teddy is always happy to come along for a car ride. We would not hesitate to return if the opportunity arose.
Bartholomew and Aaron were great and very welcoming! Agnes was so sweet and kept to herself most of the time but did come sleep with me. Pirate Cat was also independent but allowed me to pet her some. Overall, a great experience. If you're considering booking- DO IT!!
