How magical! Charlie & Fuzz were charming (old) gentlemen, taking life at a gentle pace, always keeping a loving eye on their companion & food provider. There was never any issue with medication consumption (seen as a treat!) nor with harness wearing for happily touring the countryside. Then, the beauty of this home & rural surroundings I was given the incredible opportunity to share was just a total joy. There are always special features of each home & the unique, off grid routines here were clearly demonstrated by the warmly welcoming Margie & then supported (although never needed) by a friendly neighbour. A totally delightful fortnight which I would very happily repeat again, and again, and again! Many thanks Margie, Charlie & Fuzz for sharing these dream moments.
This was the best house sit ever! Giulia is very clean, organized, considerate, and was very generous even leaving food supplies. She responds in a timely manner and stayed in touch while she was away. We shared pics and called every few days to ease her mind. The bus is 1/2 a block away. Takes you to the train so travel is easy. Plenty of cafes are within walking distance as is the grocery store. I love her 2 cats! They are a little shy but very sweet and easy to care for. Giulia and I actually ended up being very good friends and she helped make my stay in Australia the best ever! I’m looking forward to coming back for a visit.
We had a fantastic sit on the outskirts of Tavistock and right on the western fringe of Dartmoor. Sophia and Mike have a lovely home with equally lovely animals. Baggy and Maggie are real characters who work as a team to command your attention and friendship! They're great and we miss them already. We also enjoyed getting to know the characters of the horses and spending time exploring the wonderful grounds around the house. Sophia came back to us immediately whenever we had questions and had left really clear, comprehensive instructions about how everything worked. The house is really great - warm, cosy and well equipped. They live in a really magical part of the country with some fabulous walks literally from their doorstep. We very much hope to revisit this sit sometime.
This was an amazing sit with friendly neighbors. We had the privilege of waking up every morning to a stunning view of the valley and its mist. Surrounded by a beautiful blossoming orange tree, flowers and butterfly's. Rosie the queen of the house was quite the lady, very obedient and was delightful to take on long walks. Deborah and Axel were excellent host, very communicative and left us a few goodies in the apartment upon our arrival. Highly recommend this wonderful house sit to other members. Steve and Nikky are great people with two wonderful cats and a lovely home. You will adore Ginger and Pompom if you have the chance to sit them. The home is comfortable and quiet, located in what quickly became my favorite area of Sheffield after my stay with these cats. Steve and Nikky were very accommodating and generous, providing a relaxed atmosphere in their home. I throughly enjoyed my time both sitting for their cats and visiting when they arrived back. If ever I visit Sheffield again, I hope to visit with them!
