It was a pleasure to look after the delightful, cuddly Archie and Bella and have the opportunity to explore Bath. Simon and Catherine were very welcoming and gave us thorough information about the dogs, house and local places for walkies so that we could enjoy our week to the full. Communication was great before, during and after the stay and we enjoyed having dinner together before they left. Their beautiful house is very conveniently located - both for the city of Bath and for many good walks. We were sad to leave sweet Bella and affectionate Archie at the end of our stay - especially as Archie was watching us longingly from the window!
Sandra and Frank made us very welcome in their lovely home. We were very comfortable for the week. Plenty of lovely walks from the door. We managed to get everything we required in Appleby ten minutes down the road. We were spoilt as we were left with only a very loving cat and a totally free range chicken as Sandra and Frank took the dog with them so it was like a proper holiday. The pub next door does good food Wednesday to Sunday and is a very friendly local. We totally recommend this sit and would be more than happy to return. Thank you.
We had a lovely long weekend with Birdie and Bingham. Jacklyn was a great communicator before and during the sit. Jacklyn has been an air bnb host previously, so is an experienced host. Helpful welcome guide and notes on arrival. Easy access to home when we arrived after Jacklyn had left. We are so very grateful to Jacklyn for accommodating our availability. A local petsitter took over after our departure. Birdie was very shy for a few days but came around by the weekend. Bingham bonded straight away. They are both very sweet, undemanding and loving. Easy on the leash. Slept quietly on the bed or in the lounge. They are good guard dogs. Routine easy to follow. Jacklyn's home is tastefully decorated/furnished, a cool retro. New, modern kitchen to meet your cooking needs. We appreciated the kettle for our Tea brew ;) The house, heating/air con is old school/traditional. Lovely front porch to enjoy and spacious rear garden. It was clean and tidy for our arrival. Good security systems. Fast wi-fi. Sonos sound system. The area is vibrant, eclectic and diverse. We used the cycle hire nearby to get into downtown (15 minutes). Kroger supermarket is a short drive away. A cool housesit with sweet pups. Rob and Catherine
Susan & David are incredible hosts! They were thoughtful and very attentive to our needs. They both wanted to make sure we had an enjoyable stay and were great communicators every step of the way. We stayed in La Casita located high on the hillside one level below their home. La Casita is a very comfortably furnished seperate home with a large outdoor patio and spectacular views of the bay and mountains. Their dogs, Pony and TT, and the cats, Shadow & Scooter will forever be special to us. Minature Pony is a big cuddler and lap dog. TT is big of body and heart. She thought she was a lap dog when there was thunder and lightening. Pony, TT & Shadow were our constant companions. Scooter decided we were worthy of attention a day or two into the sit and allowed us petting priveleges. Thank you David and Susan for allowing us to care for your lovely home and pets! We would happily return in the future and would recommend this housesit !
