We thoroughly enjoyed our stay looking after Banjo, Cello, Phoebe and Sydney in Mandi & Mike’s fabulous home. We took the house-sit over from another lovely housesitting couple who instructed us on what to do while we were there. Our hosts, Mandi & Mike were also in easy reach if we needed further advice and we were also left a household manual which was very useful. The adorable pets , ‘the zoo crew’ were a pleasure to look after. The dogs-Cello was laid back and very affectionate. Banjo was just so pleased to see us every time he saw us and Phoebe was happily scatty with a fun mischievous streak. The dogs are big but have very friendly and obedient temperaments. There were plenty of places to walk the dogs in the area and they also loved running around Mandi and Mike’s large garden. Lastly, Sydney, the lovebird. She kept us thoroughly entertained with her quirky ways throughout our stay & was easy to look after. Mandi & Mike’s home was extremely comfortable and had a relaxed, happy atmosphere. We were lucky to have good weather during our stay so we ate most of our meals on the terrace admiring the stunning sea views and large colourful garden with its inviting swimming pool. We met Mandi & Mike at the end of our sit . A lovely, warm, happy & friendly couple, who we hope to keep in contact with in the future. We cannot recommend this housesit highly enough. It was a 5 star house-sit, that we would love to repeat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lauren and David were easy to communicate with and very friendly. Their dog Opal was the biggest sweetheart. She was so lovely and well behaved. She went on a few bike rides with us and it was apparent how much time they put into training her. Our time at their house was absolutely wonderful and we would happily house sit opal again
We stayed at Barbara and Dennis’ place for 3 weeks. Their home is absolutely lovely, clean and comfortable. Their townhome is in a quiet, friendly and safe neighborhood about 20 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Barbara and Dennis were great communicators and made us feel welcome. We fell in love with Jackson💕 He is sweet, funny, well behaved and a wonderful companion. He and our dog got along very well. You can take Jackson anywhere. He’s great in the car, great on a leash and happy on a restaurant patio (bring treats). Jackson is an unfailingly polite pup who can keep you company while you explore all the wonderful beaches, trails and restaurants in Marin County.
We had an amazing time with the pups!
We loved our stay with Tavi; he is the sweetest, chattiest cat who loves cuddles all day long. The stay in the house was a perfect couple of weeks. Pete and Vanessa were excellent hosts; even while they were away they had perfect communication and were there to answer any questions we had. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone; and we will definitely be missing Tavi.
A lovely sit! Ruth's house is a 25 minute walk from the Horniman Museum and Gardens and centrally located between a few stations. The property is on a very quiet road...You will hardly hear a car go past during the day and at night, you could hear a pin drop! You can hear the neighbours moving around upstairs but the noise is minimal and did not bother me at all; In fact it was nice to know there were other people around. The area feels very safe but there is an outside gate before you get to the front door which provides an added sense of security. Great shower - Good water pressure. Mattress firm and comfortable and linen clean and fresh. Ruth has a nice garden at the back where you could sit and read and Ernie and Hamish will happily accompany you ! Speaking of which, they are a delightful pair and although they will want to be let out at first light, they are very gentle in communicating that to you - A soft paw on your arm or a little good morning meow. They will not bother you AT ALL during the night as they are used to being locked in from about 10 or 11 and will settle immediately. Their eating routine is laid-back : Breakfast and dinner or drip feeding if you are home during the day. Like her cats, Ruth is relaxed and easy going and it was a pleasure to house sit for her! I would definitely go back! Thanks, Ruth!
