We had a delightful time with Yuki. He's a handsome boy and very well-behaved. He almost never barks, and with his doggy door, he's super independent. There are two nearby parks that we would take him to for walks on the leash. We didn't feel his recall was consistent enough to leave him off leash. Brighton is a sweet little town with enough going on to not get bored for a week or so. We checked out Barr Lake State Park, which we loved (birdwatchers, here's your tip!), and the Rocky Mountain Arsenal. Brighton is a bit off the beaten track, but quiet and compact with interesting homes to look at on our daily walks. There are train tracks a couple of blocks away but the noise didn't bother us. The home is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The double bed may not be large enough for a couple, but we took advantage of the pull-out couch so we each had more room. Communication with Marine was quick and easy. We would recommend this sit without hesitation.
Kate and Bob are fantastic people and Quincy and Annie are the sweetest cats. It was an absolute pleasure to spend 2 months with Quincy and a Annie. They were both so sweet and sat in our laps while we worked or cuddled up with us after work for a movie. Kate and Bob were also very kind and helped drive us to the airport after our stay and accommodated us needing to adjust dates at the beginning. It was really fun spending time with them and getting dinner the last day. Would be lovely to housesit for them anytime. Highly recommend.
Everything was just as explained by Kelley. House was clean and inviting and comfortable. But mostly I loved spending time with Brownie, Bear, Grizzly, and Zoe. Brownie is such an incredible loving being and Bear was so sweet and loved being held like a baby and Grizzly has such an awesome expressive personality and although Zoe was clear she didn't want to be touched I loved her clarity of boundaries! I would sit for them again anytime, fun and easy!
I had a lovely week long stay in Edinburgh looking after Luna, Reggie, and Oggie. Meg and Alex were both great communicators and left very detailed care instructions for all the pets which was very helpful. I enjoyed taking Luna out on long walks and cuddling the guinea pigs every night. Everyone was very well behaved and once she warmed up to you, Luna loved cuddling on the couch even if she took up most of the space! There are lots of grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance of the flat and it was easy to take a bus to get into downtown Edinburgh. I'd gladly housesit for Meg and Alex again!
Ellen was a great host. She welcomed us with so much warmth, I couldn't imagine anyone else for my first sit. After a short time we felt at home in Ellen's cozy house. Kali and Bella are wonderful dogs, very happy and loving animals, they often made us laugh. The walks were a lot of fun, even if the two of them aren't very good with other people's dogs. We would definitely like to come back again.
I am grateful to be invited to Celia's beautiful space. Leon reads your mind too well. Still excited, jumping for joy under the bright sunlight like a little boy. As the name suggests, Willow floats around garden and house like a little fairy in the woods, with twinkling amber eyes of curiosity. They both sleep very well, eat well, play well and couldn't be better. Don't forget to water the garden, their little paradise. Her friendliness and guide quickly get you used to this sitting in the Swiss lake town. I wish Celia and her wonderful family always happiness and health. Thank you again

Our dog Charlie had a few behavioral issues that we were trying to work out (a general high level of anxiety, fear of strangers, and chasing down things he shouldn't). We left him with Loukia for only 1 week and - when he returned - we could already see massive improvements! It was truly incredible. When we recently had to move to Italy Loukia helped us keep Charlie calm in his crate (he had to be in the hold) by introducing us to flower essences that work in a natural way to calm animals down. It was a godsend as it is a long flight!!
My pup stayed with Loukia at Wholistic and we both had an incredible experience. She had just started having seizures so I was concerned but Loukia was amazingly understanding and I felt comfortable my dog was in excellent hands. She went above and beyond introducing her to the other dogs as that was a concern. Two stays now and I highly recommend!
We have left our puppy Molly with Loukia a few times and continue to have the best experience. Loukia shares photos and videos of our pup interacting with other dogs or calm moments when Molly is resting. We appreciate the regular updates so much, as we can relax knowing our pup is well cared for, and has a very present, attentive person watching over her. Also, when our pup was recovering from spay surgery, Loukia went above and beyond by taking care of our pup's wound and making sure she was comfortable. I truly feel at ease when Molly is with Loukia and consider her an extension of our family support network.
My fiancé and I have used Wholistic Pet Service twice in the past month for our 18 month Labrador Retriever. Our dog can be a bit of a handful at times however, this was no trouble for Loukia. We recently moved to the US with our year old Vizsla, Griffin , who had taken some time to adjust to his new environment. When we had to find someone to look after him whilst we went for a week's holiday, we were determined to find someone who wouldn't leave him in a crate but would provide him with the same love, attention and exercise he gets at home. We found Wholistic Pet Services and went to meet Loukia and her beautiful dog, Floki. From the beginning, it was clear that Loukia "gets" dogs. She lives and breathes them and understands how individual breeds and individual characters interact with each other and why. We found this to be so important having come across so many dog sitters who bundle a load of dogs together without giving any thought to how they will react to one another. Loukia is devoted to making sure her dogs and the dogs she looks after have the best possible life. This starts with advice on the best possible diet, hints and tips on holistic preparations for your dog (versus the sometimes unsafe alternatives), twice daily exercise and socialization, and ends with comfy doggy beds, sofas, pillows and humans to cuddle up with. Griffin runs to Loukia's gate and doesn't look back. We know he's having a great time because we get videos and photos of him having a ball. We are so grateful to have found Wholistic Pet Services and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Loukia.
In January of 2022 our dog Ella went missing under the care of Wholistic Pet Services. Please do your research and read the articles about Wholistic Pet Services and its owner Loukia. Fortunately, Ella was found, and the support from the entire community of Orange (CT) and volunteers (who travelled from far and wide) was heartwarming during that very difficult time.
My fur children have frequented Wholistic K9 Resort for almost 2 years now and we couldn't be happier. We found Wholistic after previously boarding and daycare at a couple of different establishments that were satisfactory but were not quite complete. Wholistic offers much more than daycare and boarding. My dogs love going on pack hikes a couple times a week. They are able to get socialization as well as great exercise. My older lab mix is quite skittish but she is very much at ease on the hikes. I also love watching the YouTube videos posted after the hikes. We also board with Wholistic when we go out of town. Loukia makes everything about boarding a snap. The dogs get picked up and dropped off, making travel less stressful. They immediately relax in the doggies zen room, where they know they are expected to be calm. My dogs have a non-traditional diet due to allergies. Loukia has been instrumental in helping me craft a diet to help keep the itching at bay and also is great with keeping them on the diet while they board. The dogs love their healthy, allergy friendly food and are always comfortable when they board. I am beyond thrilled to have Wholistic help with my dogs while I am at work and while I’m away on travel. I know they are in caring hands and that I don’t have to worry because they are under control and getting plenty of exercise and lots of love.
I am so excited writing this review for Wholistic Pet Services because I feel so lucky to have found Loukia to take care of my Rottweiler Romeo. I am so grateful I can leave Romeo in the hands of someone who loves dogs as much as I do and gives him the best care possible. Loukia is so loving, kind and patient with the dogs. Romeo gets so excited when he sees Loukia because he knows he will be going on fun adventures and will get lots of playtime with other dogs. The best part of all is he gets the best home-made organic food and eats like a king!! He always comes back to me tired and more disciplined than when he left. Loukia has provided us the needed comfort and ease while boarding our two labrador retrievers. It’s considered more to be vacation for the pups then “boarding” after all! We first left our young labrador retriever, Rigley, with her when he was just 6 months old and very last minute. As any pet parent, we were nervous to leave our baby, but Loukia assured us he would have a field day at her palace, and that he did! She continuously posts daily videos on you tube of their hikes, even rest time, and will send photos upon your request! She gives informative updates and even will suggest training tips and healing remedies you may need for your fur baby. There have been a few incidents where I have reached out to her about our dogs wellness before our vet because of her holistic and truthful approach. After trying a few dog walkers and boarders (who were just ok), we stumbled upon Loukia and decided to give her a try. I am extremely glad we connected, because there is no comparison. Loukia is so in tune with her dogs and attentive to their needs. She takes them on long hikes as a part of her daily routine, and sends great videos of her excursions. I have absolutely no worries that our dog will be well taken care of when we go away. Hira had an amazing first day at Bark Avenue! Audrey at the desk was amazing answering our questions and assuring us our puppy was having a great first day when we called and at pickup! They were amazing in answering any questions that were asked and she even sent us a photo to confirm our dog was having a blast! 🐾We cant wait to come back for another play day for doggy daycare again!
We love Bark Avenue & more importantly our dog, Newman does too! The facility is very clean, staff is very friendly & helpful. Newman is kept very busy during the day and has a blast. Erica has been caring for my pup Cleo for over two years now and is just the best. She's reliable, professional, and goes above and beyond to try and accommodate even last-minute requests. Erica is very attentive and always lets me know if something seems off with my dog (stomach issues, etc.). She also gives recommendations without being asked, which I appreciate given her extensive expertise. Cleo absolutely loves her too!
Erica is fantastic and a life saver! We were fortunate to recently adopt a 2 1/2 year old bulldog, Maisie. She had been in a shelter for over six months, so she is still a bit skittish around new people. Maisie has adjusted well in our home, but we had two long planned trips that we hadn't thought about, that's when Erica saved the day! She was able to come to our home and care for Maisie while we were away. Maisie loves her walks with Erica! Knowing Erica was taking good care of her reduced our anxiety about being away for Maisie.

Erica is amazing and I’m so glad I found her! She takes such good care of our boy Baxter. We have had Bax there for day care and more recently for overnights and for the first time I am not worried about him while we are away! She posts pics and sends updates which we love and he gets so excited when we pull down the street. That is the ultimate test and compliment in my eyes. He truly loves being there. We would definitely recommend Erica and we are already repeat customers. There is no one else I trust to watch our boy more than her!!
Erica is a wonderful pet sitter! She takes excellent care of our two kitties, who hate to leave the house so Erica visits them in our home. One of our kitties is very social and the other is very shy, and Erica makes extra effort to connect with the shy kitty, being sure to leave treats and catnip where she will get them. She sends pictures (and sometimes video) of both kitties, and checks in regularly by text to let us know she’s been in and how the kitties are doing. Erica has been caring for our kitties for about a year and we feel totally at ease knowing they are under her care while we’re away. We are so glad to have found her!
This was the first time we ever left the care of our 3 cats to a “stranger”. Erica came over, met all of us, took notes, and was friendly, yet professional. Two of our cats require medication, one of which is medicated every 12 hours and is clever at hiding. This was no problem for Erica! Erica was great at keeping in touch with me over the week sending photos & updates. She also responded quickly to my texts with questions & changes. Upon return our home felt normal, as if we never left. Although there was some grumbling amongst the felines inquiring as to what I did with Erica! Cats! 😺
I'm so happy that we used Scratch 'N Sniff while we went away on vacation. Our dog has a lot of anxiety and taking him with us wasn't an option for this trip. Erica was super accommodating. She was able to make visits to our house so Rocky would be comfortable in his normal environment. She was able to give him his medication, which typically is difficult with him. We were given frequent updates and pictures to make sure we were at ease and knew he was doing well. She even brought in our mail and watered our flowers for us. We will definitely be using this pet service for any trips we take in the future.
Erica does a phenomenal job with your family's pets! We know that when our pup needs somewhere to go that Erica is reliable, professional, and provides high quality service. Recently got married and needed someone to watch our dog Blue for a few days, Erica is always the first to pop in mind! Her professionalism and great care for our pup is unmatched! She constantly posts pictures during his stay on her facebook page and keeps us updated with texts. Highly recommend and will use again and again
We've utilized Four Paws services during our last two vacations to care for our two cats and our turtles. They have provided excellent service in every way - they leave detailed notes for each visit and always respond quickly and cheerfully to any e-mails or special instructions. Our cats can be a bit leery of strangers, so it's nice to see (via the visit notes) that both warmed up to Diane and Gary by the second or third visit. We won't hesitate to contact them the next time we are going to be out of town - their rates are very reasonable and you couldn't ask for better service. UPDATE: It's now nine years later, and we still call on Four Paws and a Biscuit whenever we need someone to care for our (many, many) cats when we're out of town. The service is still excellent and reasonably-priced, and they still leave detailed notes for every visit (even when most of our scaredy-cats won't come out to see them) - really couldn't ask for more.
My dogs have loved both Gary and Michele at 4 Paws. I trust them very much. They treat my dogs well, are aware of safety (ie wrapping the leash so the dog does not get away) and treat my home well when they come. They have my highest recommendation.
We love Paw Haven! I've been taking my pup here for over a year and I'm continuously impressed. The kind staff clearly care about all the pups and are looking out for them. Benny goes for camp a couple of days and week and I've boarded him on several occasions. He loves it and I can't imagine taking him anywhere else. They have an app to use for bookings and are overall great at communicating. 10/10 recommend!
Paw Haven has been a godsend for my high energy doggo. She walks in with excitement & walks out very tired. The staff is great! Friendly, kind, & always busting their butts to get the doggos out on time. You can really tell they love spending time with every pup! They give the best silly little updates. Would recommend over & over!
Rosie (3 year old Boston terrier) loves Paw Haven and has been going there since she was a puppy! Daycare or an overnight, Rosie can’t wait to go and always comes back a happy pup. Thanks to the Paw Haven family for taking great care of Rosie and for all the awesome pictures!!
My chocolate lab mix “Edmond” and husky “Sissy” have been going to Paw Haven (dog daycare) for at least a year now. They love the staff and the other dogs and they come home tired & happy. The facility itself is huge and beautiful and the prices are on par with or less than any doggy daycare you’d find in the area (I’ve done my research, trust me). The staff does cute activities for holidays and PH also offers grooming and boarding services which I haven’t yet used but it’s a nice option to have. Some other things I like: the facility has cameras, there is a quick response time should you have any questions and the interview/orientation process was simple and straightforward. There really aren’t many cons, the only time there was any confusion/issues was several months back when more staff was being hired and a lot of people were in training all at once (which is understandable). No issues since that brief window of time. I really love this facility and know they take good care of my favorite people - my pups.
I’ve sent my dog here several times over the past two years and have always been pleased with the experience! The staff are all very kind and my dog seems so happy when I come to pick her up. The livestream webcams are a huge plus and I love being able to check in on her watch her play while I’m away. They also periodically send photo updates of your pup during their stay. I’m moving from the area which is unfortunate because I’ve yet to have another boarding experience that rivals Paw Haven!
Paw Haven is honestly a dream come true! Our dog has a lot of energy. He needs an environment where he can burn it off in a safe capacity. He pulls my arm off when we get out of the car in the parking lot because he’s so excited to walk through the door. He loves his social time and spends all day running around, instead of sitting at home waiting for us to return. Later when he gets home he sleeps from that moment on through the ENTIRE night. Tired dogs are happy dogs and this rings true over and over again. Not to mention that we love the friendly staff, we get to “check-in” periodically to see him playing with his friends through Paw Haven’s camera system, AND at the end of every day we get a handful of adorable photos! I tell my husband all the time, daycare at Paw Haven is worth every single cent!
An exceptionally bad experience! We are traveling to the area for the holiday and when I first called I was told that they can accept our dogs for daycare after I create an account, uploade vaccine records and book a meet and greet. We did all of that, called back and was told we need to upload records of a fecal test, so I had to call my Vet in Michigan and get them to send me lab test, which I did and uploaded to their account. I called back only to be told they had not sorted out their interview policy for this week and they actually aren't accepting new dogs for daycare! I spent almost an hour and a half running around to do what they asked for after two separate calls with two separate people only to be told they weren't fully organized with their holiday week policy! How is this a business? Obviously poor operations if the management can't communicate to the employees fielding calls.
Our pups love their time at Paw Haven! When we board them, we get them a Luxury Suite that they can stay in together, and it has Live Webcams that we can use to check in on them throughout the day. We love the report cards and photo updates at the end of each night, and love the optional add-ons we can purchase to spoil the pups a little extra while we’re away.
Love this place! I know I can trust them with my pup whenever I leave him here. He always comes home so tired from a long day of play! Plus they always send me a report card of how he did that day along with pictures!! They make my day. It’s nice that they always make sure to keep you updated. The website also has a camera in the playrooms so you can check on your fur baby when you miss them. Not only that but some rooms have a camera so you can see your baby after the playroom camera goes off for the night. Really saved me and my husband when we went on vacation. I always recommend this place to my friends. Pawhaven is AMAZING. Id trust them with my real children if they took them too 😂attaching an adorable pic they took of my pup 🥹
My puppy Bruno LOVE pawhaven!!! He is staying for the week in boarding and he is so so happy there! Every time he walks in, he immediately starts jumping and barking with excitement! Absolutely bring your dog here if you need day care and/or boarding!
Our dog has been attending Dogtopia in Milford since they opened. We could not be happier with this choice. They love our dog and treat him as if he was one of their own. The canine coaches understand Dallas quirks and personality. Dogtopia does so many fun theme days and art projects. It's clean and bright and webcams are easily accessible to peek in on your dog throughout the day.

I love this place! They have provided an amiable and reliable environment so we can finally leave our pup there for days while traveling without worrying about his health and happiness. My dog always comes home clean and neat and loves going back there! The live cameras are a huge relief, and we enjoy watching the pup play around with his tail wagging all day long.🥰
We are so happy with Dogtopia! The facilities are new and well kept, with ample indoor and outdoor space for the puppies to play. The hours are great for working dog parents and the app with webcams makes it easy to check in on your dog if you’re so inclined. The staff is really incredible, so friendly, accommodating and very dog-loving! There’s nothing more heartwarming than to catch the canine coaches petting the happy doggies throughout the day on camera! Can’t say enough good things!
My dog Reed loves going to Dogtopia! He pulls me to the door and whines in the lobby until he gets to see his friends. When we first started bringing him there we noticed they didn’t open the door to the outside area in his room, so the dogs wouldn’t get to go out and play (due to one dog being a turf eater). I do feel like I wasted a few days of my daycare package due to this, but after speaking to the manager Owen, it was corrected. They moved him into a room that better suited his energy and play style and now Reed couldn’t be happier, a room that also keeps the door to the outside open nearly 24/7. The employees are very nice there and the facility is very clean. The Dogtopia app isn’t the best, it freezes a lot. When it does work, I love to check on him and see him play. The pricing is very competitive and they offer memberships and packages that other locations don’t offer. Overall, I do recommend!
my girls LOVE it here. Not only do they have very reasonable rates but all the staff are warm and friendly to us and the pups. They have a ton of options including boarding and spa for the girls as we need it and they have optional add on activies. And there is a video feed for when we check in on them during the day and see them playing. Cannot reccomend this place enough.
My dog Lincoln has been going to Dogtopia of Milford for about a year (boarding and daycare) and he LOVES it. I love it too! The staff is super friendly and I know when Lincoln is there that he’s safe and having a great time. It’s clean, the playrooms aren’t over populated and I love that Lincoln can play both inside and outside during the day. The events calendar is great too. I highly recommend Dogtopia of Milford!
Whether it’s a half-day or a few days of boarding, we never have to worry about Rudy when she’s at Dogtopia. She is treated exceptionally well, gets to romp with the other dogs, and comes home fulfilled. We wholeheartedly recommend Dogtopia to anyone considering bring their pooch there
Very few things get Maverick as excited as he gets when we turn onto Quirk Rd to head to Dogtopia. He recognizes it immediately, and gives the biggest excited stomps and tail wags. When we walk in he is so excited to get back there he doesn't even turn to say goodbye. This place is amazing. Dogtopia is responsive, always answer the phone, always have fun and exciting treats and activities available. Occasionally Maverick will come home with an art project or something fun for us. Have tried other day cares and do not get anywhere near the same level of excitement from our dog. Highly highly recommend.
I highly recommend it to any Dog owner looking for a place other than to just board your dog at a kennel. It’s great there. It’s really like A daycare, but for dogs, they even have activities and all sorts of other things and the prices are so reasonable
If I could play at Who's Your Doggie all day I would. I've trusted Melissa and her staff with my dogs since WYD opened in 2009 for daycare, boarding, and grooming. They do training too! It's a one stop shop. I look forward to the pictures of the pups playing on the FB page, holiday photos, and everything else they do. They have daily themed activities, Agility Mondays and Frosty Paw Fridays are my favorite. The staff has been amazing since day one. They are always pleasant, energetic, responsible, and extremely vigilant. I enjoy my drop offs and pick-ups chatting with them. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dogs.
Been using Whos’s Your Doggie for about 2 weeks now since moving into an apartment nearby. I couldn’t be happier with the staff and how they treat the dogs. They always have some activities planned to keep the dogs engaged. Before coming here he would never even thought about sleeping in the car. Now on the short 5 min ride home he’s passed out. Pricing is super reasonable in my opinion.
My dog Whiskey is a wonderful but anxious German Shepard. He requires a little extra attention in training and obedience. Melissa the owner/trainer was very professional and great with my German Shepard. She is firm with training and commands (which he needs) but also very friendly and answered all my questions. I look forward to working with Melissa and bringing my dog regularly! Also the staff are very friendly especially Bella. Thank you for everything!
They are the best dog groomer I have ever used. I have a dog with a disability and they go above and beyond to accommodate her. They do an excellent job and are always running on time. I would highly recommend using them for either grooming or daycare.
My 1 yo dog was terrified of moving vehicles going past us on a walk. I worked with him for months & couldn't get him past his fear (pulling, jumping, spinning, barking). I brought him to Melissa at Whose Your Doggie for Doggie Boot Camp. She sent me videos, pictures & we stayed in touch. 6 days later I had the most well behaved, well trained, easy to walk dog! It was amazing. Melissa did awesome helping my dog get past his fears & anxiety. She also helped me learn what I needed to do, so I could continue his positive training. She's also available if my dog needs some refresh training. I highly recommend their Doggie Boot Camp for problem behaviors with your dog! Best thing I need for my dog! He's much more relaxed & happy & so am I 😊
Our dog is very high energy and when we adopted him at 1 year old, he exhibited signs of separation anxiety. We decided to take him to daycare 2 days a week when my wife and I would both be gone all day. Whos Your Doggie has provided him with wonderful care. He is super excited when we drop him off and super tired and happy when we pick him up. He is now almost 2 years old and his anxiety is much less and he can be left alone at home, however we still bring him 2 days a week because he has so much fun and it’s a good healthy outlet for his energy. Don’t believe every nasty 1 star review as of late as many people arent even customers but reposting a story they read on FB. Our experience with Whos your Doggie has been positive and professional and we would highly recommend.
I sent my American Bulldog for the two week program. I had to wait a bit to post my review because I was certain he had received some sort of drug that was bound to wear off. He went from a lovable and STUBBORN guy to lovable and obedient. He’s much calmer but still himself. Melissa does amazing work and treats the dogs she trains like her own, and also helped me learn how to communicate with him. We even got an unsolicited compliment on a walk - which is huge - and no more harness needed. I sent her a list of the behaviors he needed work on and she handled them. I highly recommend her services. The facility is clean and her staff clearly cares about the dogs as much as she does.
Amazing experience bringing our two German Shepherds here! The staff is great and they will post updates throughout the day on Facebook so you can watch your pups play with other dogs 🐾 Will definitely be bringing the dogs back here the next time we need it! …

Best Doggie care around. My dogs truly love it! Best experience I have ever had with kenneling. Always clean and well maintained and I never have to worry when my dogs are there. Maddie and Dallas are the best and take care of my fur babies during the week and when I am away.

Mark and Kathy are the best dog walkers and sitters. They have been taking care of my dogs for 12 years. Mark and Kathy are truly kind and compassionate animal lovers. Most importantly they give your dog a great walk and take excellent care of them. My Portuguese Water Dog was high energy and would come back from walks tired and contented. We now have a mini poodle who also loves to walk, but is a shy boy. Mark and Kathy understand his special needs, look after him and he loves them. I can go on vacation and know that my dog is very well cared for and gets the attention he needs. My friend has used Mark and Kathy to watch her cats. Again, she is highly satisfied and grateful. Mark and Kathy have taken care of our two Newfoundlands for over five years! They walk them, pet sit, house sit and even brush them. Our dogs just adore both of them. Kathy and Mark will always go the proverbial extra mile to help you and your pet. They have often helped us out when we have been in unavoidable situations. When we travel, I never worry as I know both the dogs and the house will be in immaculate condition when we return. Kathy and Mark have become part of our family.
