What a great time with the two cats Ron and Oscar! They are very easy to handle, real sweethearts, always ready for a cuddle. Louisa is a very charming person and an excellent cook. Thanks once again for the tasty Risotto with mushrooms and the detailed instructions about cats and home. The apartment is very spacious, well equipped and close to all attractions Basel has to offer.
Mark and Robin were super kind and Sophie was an angel! Everything went really smoothly and Sophie was super well behaved and gave us lots of love :) overall a very great experience
Odin and Loki were a sweet delight to care for, walk, and play with. The home was welcoming and easy to settle into, while the neighborhood had a variety of creative restaurants and shops. We were just a few blocks from a very famous park! Public transportation was a cinch with the BART as well for getting into the city easily. We already miss the pups!
It's hard leaving negative feedback on a community like this, but that's just it, there was no community with this sit. After we accepted the sit, there was no communication. Before we left the USA we messaged both on the platform and the phone number we were given and didn't get responses. Even on the day before the sit we still hadn't heard back. We finally got a message that night saying the sit was still on. We showed up, and they left 5 minutes later. Jack the pup was the sweetest, And thankfully we're quite experienced when it comes to dog behaviors so we didn't have a problem. They checked in on us and the pup once. We did send them pictures/updates which they didn't respond to. When we left, we set the pup up with essentials, sent them a message, left the keys, and never heard back. We didnt even get a thank you from them. The home and pup were lovely, but it's not worth the zero communication, especially if you're traveling.
Andrea is such a warm and beautiful human inside and out. She is by far my favourite pet parent. She was very eager to spend time together before and after, and was accommodating throughout the housesit. Leo needs a few minutes to adjust to you but once he does he will never leave your side. He's very adorable. I would definitely do this housesit again!
Maureen's place in San Lucas is very comfortable and Zoe was a great companion for a few days! Maureen communicated great, providing excellent instructions and clear expectations. I would definitely stay with her again!
