Lori was a great pet/house sitter. She sent daily pics of my pets and the house was clean when I got home. I would definitely use her again.
Charlotte was very welcoming and her kitties were adorable. Her apartment is comfortable and in a walkable area with lots to do and close to the beach. Would gladly sit for them again anytime.
Floss was very easy to look after and she was particular with her association with strangers. After a day or two we managed to get some pats with her and she seemed to accept us in her space. Angela's place was lovely and very handy to everything. We would recommend this stay to others.
Thank you to Jen and Martin, their house was lovely and they were very welcoming and kind! Mila, Jasper, Oscar and Dennis were great too, very affectionate and cuddly! Thank you again, would highly recommend this sit!
Nipsey is truly one of the most charming cats you will ever meet! He is very curious, playful and social. A lot of cats take some time to warm up to strangers but Nipsey loved sleeping with us and being on our laps from the beginning, which was really wonderful!! Ellen is delightful and responded to every message I sent right away. She is laid-back and made us feel at home. She met us at the train station and prepared some coffee since we were still suffering from jet lag. She made sure we were comfortable before turning the place over to us. Besides Nipsey, who has a straightforward feeding regimen and who let us know when he wanted to play, be brushed, or have some quiet time sleeping, we took care of a few plants. It was an uncomplicated sit with lots of time to explore Nice and even make a couple of day-trips to Èze and Monaco. The apartment is in a fantastic location with a short walk to a fresh market, grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants, coffee shops and of course, the train station. Also if you like to walk, it's not far to the ‘Promenade des Anglais’ by the water, ‘La Vieille Ville’ (Old City with narrow streets and antiquated shops and restaurants), Matisse Museum, Port Lympia, ‘Colline du Château’ (the Castle Hill, a lovely park with a great view and waterfall), St. Nicolas Cathedral, and an amazing walk along the sea by Coco Beach. We were there for two weeks over the holidays and it was a bit chilly in the building so I'd advise to pack accordingly if you go in the winter, but the days were sunny and we enjoyed a lot of time on the adorable terrace with Nipsey, too! It was our first sit working with the site and we couldn't have asked for a better host or new furry friend! Anyone who gets the chance to know Nipsey and Ellen is in for a treat. My only complaint: I already miss that kitty!! Thank you for the trust and for such a pleasant experience!
Everything about this sit was well organised and uncomplicated; the instructions were comprehensive and clear and everything went smoothly. Isa had written thoughtful notes and ensured I had all the information I needed, which was much appreciated and resulted in a very successful sit . And then of course there were Ozzy and Mila, each with its own special character, with whom I had a lot of fun. They were so easy to be with and caring for them was a real joy. Luckely the weather was good and I biked a lot and enjoyed the nearby nature en Koblenz. It is an ideal place to relax and disconnect from cities. I can highly recommend this housesit!
