Sincerely kind, warm and easy going humans. I tend to leave in a state of rushed anxiety and they made my exit comfortable. They gave my beastie a mini-vacay of trips and walks - the VIP treatment! They were respectful of our home and left it so clean I didn’t even know they were there. Highly recommend and would welcome them back for any future trips.
We had a lovely time with Piper and Sky in Olympia! Jeff and Judy were very hospitable and made great effort to show us the house, surrounding area, and places to walk the dogs, before their departure. The guest bedroom was comfortable and we appreciated having closet and drawer space, as well as lots of counter space in the guest bathroom. The generous use of Jeff and Judy’s SUV was perfect for transporting Piper and Sky for their walks, and our occasional personal use. Their neighborhood in west Olympia is friendly and conveniently located to downtown and plenty of shopping. We were able to venture further afield a few times to explore several parks and harbors, which Judy had recommended. The homeowners manual, carefully created with great detail, was useful and we referred to it a lot. The dogs were very sweet and affectionate, and also communicative about their needs. They warmed up to us quickly, especially when we stepped right in to fulfill their daily food prep routine. We would recommend this housesit to anyone who loves larger dogs and is comfortable handling them, particularly when they are active and excited.
I had an absolutely wonderful time in James & Ryan's beautiful and comfortable home and would definitely recommend this sit. Rizzo is a really fun, playful pup who loves to snuggle and I missed her the second I left! The hosts were super communicative and provided really clear, comprehensive information about the house, Rizzo's needs, and the neighbourhood which helped the sit go really smoothly. Strathcona is a fantastic neighbourhood, super central, and an ideal base for exploring the city. Thanks for a great stay :)
Miranda is great host, very nice and helpfull. Bob and Lucy (the two cats) are so cute, they were shy at first as cats usually are with new people but with the passing of days they began to hang out around us and ended sharing a lot of time close to us while we worked on our laptops or were drawing on the desk. The neighborhood is great also, close to everything we needed.
