Paul
We had a wonderful 5+ weeks at Paul and Jo’s lovely home near Dunblane, where we looked after their two Sprockets, Archie and Angus. Paul and Jo were very welcoming and everything was clean and well organised for our arrival, with all important notes printed out for ease of reference. The house is spacious, light and situated in the middle of a farm with fields full of cows and sheep. The location is quiet and calm and the view over the valley is lovely.

Archie and Angus are two very sweet boys who we both fell in love with, and we all enjoyed many long walks, mainly at the nearby Sheriffmuir woods just outside Dunblane. The boys are both very good off the lead, running ahead for a short while and then circling back. And whenever they need to be called back, they’re super responsive to the dog whistle, doing an immediate and swift 180!

If you have the opportunity to housesit for Paul and Jo, we recommend you doing so!

Sian
It was such a pleasure to care for Charlie, Tilly and Squizzy. Charlie is sweet and cuddly dog. The cats are a treat. Tilly is very curious and friendly and loves to come along on Charlie’s walks. Squizzy is a little more independent, but enjoys his cuddles too.
Sian and family were very welcoming and generously opened their home to us. Their welcome guide is thorough and informative. They gave me a detailed tour and instructions and were available and responsive during the sit.
Their beautiful home is very spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The neighborhood has excellent restaurants and markets, lovely waterfront walks, and the ferry to the city is in walking distance.
Thank you Sian for a great experience!
I highly recommend this sit.

Jan
Jan and Steve are a very welcoming couple, we arrived the evening before the sit and they cooked a meal for us which was lovely of them. Jan clearly adores her animal family and is very detailed about all aspects of the sit. We sent regular updates and photos to put her mind at ease. Biggles is a gorgeous old cat who loves a little snuggle, carefully though because of his arthritis, and mostly curls up in his bed with heated blanket and loves a head brush. Boris the cockerel is a bit territorial and will attempt to drop kick your legs or peck your feet, but the three hens are his adoring fans and he’s only protecting his ladies! The house is gorgeous, I could live in the kitchen, stuff of dreams! Wood burner was much appreciated when a hard frost came in one evening. Will be looking out for future dares and recommend you apply too!

Solange
Solange is a great person. The house was tidy and nice. All the instructions were very clear.

Three wonderful, very independent cats that were a pleasure to look after them.

We really enjoyed this sit and will do it again if there is such an opportunity.

Marjorie
Sitting adorable Heather at Marjorie's beautiful place was a perfect sit! Marjorie made me feel welcome straight away and had clear instructions with everything I could need for Heather. The house was incredibly clean and has the most peaceful backyard. Heather was a dream to sit, the sweetest dog you could meet, and a perfect running partner if you run (but very easy to walk too). Would sit again in a heartbeat 😊 Thanks Marjorie (and Heather)!
