I thought she Was trustworthy but she lied from the beginning, she told me he spoke spanish but it wasn't true, she used a text translator. She had a full schedule of daily excursions and one of my dogs had a health setback and she refused to change her excursion schedule to stay taking care of her, i had to call a friend to Take care of my affected dog While she went on her excursion. She was staying an extra week in Puerto Rico and i offered her to stay at my house 2 or 3 more days and she could have changed the excursion for one those days and she refused. I Was very emotionally affected on my trip thinking that i chose the person i left in care of my dogs very poorly. I came back from the trip and i had to knock on her room door to let my dogs out and she didn't even greet me or talk to me. I go to sleep and when i woke up she had already left without saying goodbye or leasing a note. While i was traveling she never sent me photos or videos, she never call, i had to call her every night on camera to be able to see and find out about my dogs, and in one of those calls i could see my dog very nervous, trembling and having forced breathing, i asked her and she told me that she had been very nervous. I do not recommend it to anyone, she will only go to your country on vacation mode and only feed your pets and disappear, what happened is very unfortunate! I am not against the Pet sitter going on an excursion to see the country, that is part of the deal, but if the Pet suffers a health setback the warrants her presence, she must take care of it. That' s the motto of the page: "Trusted house and Pet sitter", and the caregivers must honor it...
I loved this sit so much!! Laura and Kim are amazing hosts who went out of their way to make the sit comfortable and easy for me. They are beautiful people with beautiful pets! Budderball is sweet and affectionate. He takes medication 4 times a day, but Laura makes it easy with pill boxes and such. Budderball has no problem with his medication! Judy is an awesome cat who cuddled and sat on my lap but was not needy at all. The area has some amazing hiking trails, farm stands and a river which I loved! I highly recommend this sit.
My sit at Kelly and Paul’s cozy home over Thanksgiving was lovely! As they took Pongo along, I was only caring for Olive, maybe the sweetest (and softest!) cat, which was super easy and rewarded with lots of snuggles! The house is well equipped, tucked on a quiet street, and so close to everything in the Woodstock neighborhood. Kelly and Paul were both welcoming and appreciative of the last minute stay, and Im so glad it worked out! Thanks for entrusting me with your home and sweet Olive!
