Starlet was amazing. She sent videos of her and my cat hanging out, let me know when packages arrived and made sure to confirm all information. She left my apartment super clean, clean bedding and made sure to leave shortly before my return so my cat wasn't alone too long. If you want the ideal sitter for your home and pet, Starlet is your gal. She is perfection. My cat definitely missed her when I returned. He was well loved while I was away.
My family and I had the honor of watching Tara's pets and home and absolutely loved it! Tara was very welcoming and a great host! Her home was set up as a studio for us and it was clean, minimalist, and spacious and comfy for us. My family and I absolutely feel in love with Hank! We have watched many pets and he by far has been the best dog ever! He is so friendly, loving, gentle, easy going and entertaining. He is amazing with kids and loves playing ball in the awesome backyard. I enjoyed many great walks and runs out with him around the neighborhood and some great trails a few blocks away. The chickens were very easy to watch after. The home is in a very walkable area close to the library, park, beach, trails, and farmers market on saturdays. (If your out of state you can get a library card and chekout books!) The grocery store is a bit further so a car might be a better option for that. I did see a bus stop a few blocks away. If you have a military ID the commissary is only a 3 minutes drive. The home is located only a few blocks away from a military airfield so if your sensitive to noise this might not be the sit for you as some days helicopters are out flying all day long past sunset and it can get loud at times. My husband was prior military so we actually enjoyed it a bit lol. I would absolutely recommend Tara's home and pets to other sitters and we would be ecstatic to come back and watch everyone again. Thank you again for hosting us Tara!
We loved taking care of Precious Mindy!! She is a 19 year old legend of a cat! We were blown away by how sweet she was when we met her. She aways wanted to be by our side and was always up for snugs! She is probably the sweetest cat on the planet! As an older kitty of course she needed some extra care, like a gentle rinsing and medication each day, but it wasn't a hassle at all. Mindy was an absolute champ and gave us no trouble at all. Hannah and Jeremy live in a beautiful home in a pleasant safe neighborhood. Their house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to be happy and comfortable, they even have a treadmill and elliptical machine! Hannah was always easy to reach any time we needed anything, and was also kind enough to print out a very detailed welcome packet for us. I absolutely recommend this sit to others and hope to spend more time with Mindy in the future!
Robert and Angelika are experienced hosts. Their house is clean and tidy, with a lovely backyard. Although the weather did not cooperate with us during our short stay, they were generous in sharing their outdoor ‘toys’… i.e. kayaks, bikes, and hydrapool. Their home is in a quiet area about five miles (15-20 minute drive) from downtown St. Augustine. The star of the show, Schnuggl, is a sweet girl, well-behaved and easy. She likes to talk, loves her food, and prefers sleeping right at your feet. We recommend this sit. :-)
I had the good fortune to have Miriana call on me when her current housesitter had to leave suddenly. I was so happy to have more than two weeks in Miriana’s lovely home with the company of the adorable Rocksy!!! The apartment is very large with every possible convenience and comfort, as well as being well located in a peaceful and beautiful neighbourhood. Rocksy and I had great fun exploring the beautiful parks and even making a few trips out of the city to see the sights. Miriana herself was so easy to communicate with and always happy to answer any questions I had. She is extremely friendly and open. I really can’t say enough great things about my experience housesitting for this lovely family, and I hope to go back again soon... I miss Rocksy!!!
It was a pleasure getting to know Felicity's dogs Angus and Monty, as well as caring for Bonnie and Shadow. Angus and Monty are very affectionate dogs and obviously well loved and cared for. Felicity has a lovely home with plenty of walks nearby. I had a thorough handover and we had good communication whilst Felicity was away.
We completed an 8day stay in Carnegie with Benson. It was good to have a look around the surrounding area as it was all new to us. Benson was no trouble at all. Loved his walks and time in the living room especially when it was sunny. We visited Kathleen prior to our sit and she was very thorough in her directions and instructions both verbally and written. She certainly made our sit easy and we felt very comfortable staying in her house.
