It was a pleasure to house and dog sit for Carolyn and Dan. Their home is in a a quiet nook of a neighborhood just below Mt. Baker Ridge and only two blocks from a delightful city park. Carolyn provided the most detailed instructions I have encountered that not only included instructions for care of their home and Rowan, their dog, but information about the neighborhood, grocery stores, farmers markets, coffee shops, bus and light rail routes. It encouraged exploring the area. Their dog, Rowan, is an older Australian Shepherd with a very sweet and mellow disposition. She does have some health issues that require medication. I took her for frequent short walks in the neighborhood and down to the park. She clearly communicates what she needs, and I enjoyed her company. I highly recommend this sit.
We had a truly special Christmas in Sidmouth looking after Juno and Dixie. They are two fantastic dogs - great fun, characterful and engaging, who love their walks and are good on and off the lead and with other dogs and people. Deborah is very friendly and communication was great before and during the sit. We really enjoyed staying in her comfortable and beautiful home. Deborah’s house pack is clear and comprehensive and we instantly felt very much at home. It was also very handy to have access to a garage to wash and dry the dogs off after their walks. There are many varied walks direct from the house to explore the adjacent woodlands and coastal paths and a lovely river walk direct to the town with access to the beach. Sidmouth is a very dog-friendly town with a bustling range of independent shops. We would thoroughly recommend this as a sit and would very much like to sit again in the future (as we already miss Juno and Dixie). Thank you Deborah, Juno and Dixie x
We had a wonderful time sitting for Ziggy & Lily. They are just two sweet little old ladies who are easy to care for and fun to be around. They mostly keep to themselves, unless it’s time to eat or go for a walk. They LOVE the beach, Ziggy loves to play fetch, and Lily loves to cuddle. We really enjoyed Gaye’s home in Wurtulla, it’s such a lovely area of the Sunshine Coast, and her place is very comfortable and spacious with an open air floor plan. Gaye was easy to communicate with and made us feel so welcome in her home.
Sitting for Kim was seamless, straightforward and altogether an enjoyable experience. She communicated very well and was very considerate when it came to the logistics of house sitting. Her two lovely girl cats were great company and I would recommend this sit to anyone lucky enough to be considered! 10/10
We really enjoyed our sit here. Olivia and Georgina are two sweet, easy girls. The house is beautiful and is located in a calm place. There are nice trails near the house where you can take the dogs for a walk. Andrea left clear instructions. We recommend this place!
We absolutely loved our stay with Hazel in Amsterdam and David and Lisa made everything so great for us! Hazel is so sweet and intelligent and quickly became our best friend within a few hours. Their home is conveniently located near Vondelpark, a beautiful setting to walk Hazel and let her chase birds in the dog run. Hazel is high energy and loves her walks but also loved to cuddle with us on the couch and play with toys. This sit was truly a dream between Hazel and the neighborhood we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thanks David, Lisa and Hazel!
