We really enjoyed our stay at Breanna and Svend's home. The doggo Snoop was very excited to meet us but calmed down once we were on our own. Snoop is a big lug of a dog and has a great personality. He had something going on with Peter in the evenings, not wanting Peter to ignore him to watch tv....I, on the other hand, was able to calmly sit and Snoop would lay beside me on the sofa. To get our attention he would steal a shoe or even my pants and hide them in the yard!! What a devil! A very sweet dog, for sure! The bunnies, Jack and Steve, were pretty low key until you went to pick them up....they would run and hide. Not wanting to stress them out, we left them to do their thing in their cage, and they were happy as clams. We really enjoyed our stay in Luxembourg, and were able to use the bike (Peter) and do plenty of walking (me). The village of Hollenfells is about a 20 min bus ride from Mersch, with buses that run every hr, or two on Sundays. It made it a bit challenging as there weren't any grocery stores or convenience stores anywhere. There is a nice Italian restaurant in the village and a doctor, but otherwise there doesn't appear to be many businesses of any sort except in Mersch. On the day we were leaving, we stood out at the bus stop, but for some reason no buses came. Thankfully Breanna drove us in to the train station....it was really appreciated! Breanna also was great with helping us to solve problems...she was truly a great host.
I had a very enjoyable sit at Pilar and Ryan’s home! They had thorough instructions, which made taking care of the two pups very easy. They’re both super sweet pups, but you must be comfortable caring for a senior dog. The home was clean and inviting, and communication as easy and clear. Thanks again for a great experience!

I loved being surrounded by energy, and there was no shortage at all! Tahoe is such a lover and such a people pleaser that you just can’t keep your hands off his curly head! Corvallis is a beautiful place and the surrounding countryside is equally as beautiful. It’s a great place to spend a few days And learning how to communicate with bean who has his own unique personality was so much fun. I’m so glad I got to go and sit with these amazing animals. What a fun time. Thank you so much. Happy to return anytime.
This sit was a real pleasure! River is the cutest and most well-behaved dog I have ever been around. It was very fun to play fetch with her in the snow and take her for long walks around Cheesman Park. Peter was super easy to talk to and the instructions were very clear. We ended up chatting and he’s a great guy. The house was clean and comfortable. I would for sure come back and do this sit again. Thanks for entrusting me with your house and River!

Our Bichon, Archie, went for his summer holidays with Lynne where she went above and beyond to make sure he was happy and looked after. We got daily updates and pictures of what he had been up to, he was really happy and relaxed with new doggie friends. He loved his home from home. He normally goes to family when we are on holiday but we were all away at the same time. I would not hesitate to use Lazy Bones in future, Lynne took Archie at a few weeks notice over the peak July holidays and did her best to make sure she could look after him for the days we needed. Lynne was fantastic and really cares for the dogs in her care. Archie is rather highly strung and barks at everything but he has been a lot calmer since his return - I am not sure what you did but thank you Lynne!

Lynne was very kind to accomodate our greyhound Piper at very short notice and he's had many subsequent visits to her since. She does a phenomenal job and he's always so happy to be there. Lynne herself owns a couple of greyhounds which is fantastic for greyhounds who are maybe not so comfortable around other dogs.

Our dog Oscar has been staying with Lynne regularly for nearly 4 years (mostly daytime but with some overnights), and he loves it there. He is treated like one of the family and gets to play with his doggy pals. Lynne has always been accommodating of his and our needs, even if plans need to change at short notice. We couldn't ask for a better daycare and dog hotel,, and Lynne is a lovely person who cares a lot about her guests.
We were travelling through to Seton Sands for a weekend and contacted Lynne at very short notice to look after our dog for a few hours whilst we took the kids into the city for a day. Lynne was very accommodating and helpful. Her collection and pick up hours were flexible and allowed us to enjoy a family weekend away and still be able to take the dog with us. Went up with Maggie our bulldog to see Lynne to see if she could stay there in September when we go on holiday what a warm welcome and the house is doggiefied beds TV on for them back garden full and I mean full of different types of toys and a doggie sand pit.i knew from Maggie's behaviour she liked Lyynne and will be happy to stay with her.you couldn't meet a nicer person and her own dogs are lovely very chilled out.if your thinking of going on holiday please phone lynne your prince or princess will be in safe hands ali Wilson 🐶

Cat cared for our older cat in his own home while we were away. She visited daily, took good care of him and sent a regular written update and video so that we knew that he was doing well. We use Patchwork Petcare as our go-to any time we are needing a hand with our bunnies. 2023 has been particularly busy for us and Catriona has been available for our rabbits offering security, flexibility and the reliability that we have needed during this time. I am quite particular about how my rabbits are cared for and I follow all welfare guidelines which are continually developing. Patchwork Petcare are happy to follow the specific guidelines that I set and show a good understanding of the pet. Rabbits care can be misunderstood and I appreciate Catriona's patience with my instructions and the care and attention to detail offered. The software system that Patchwork Petcare use is fab and easy to use, you can input all the details you think are necessary, view your schedule and invoices as well as communicate via the website. I had been let down in the past by a pet sitter who did not communicate with me when I felt it was needed and Catriona is very on the ball with communication and relaying relevant information (without bothering you on your holiday). We love to get daily updates and pictures of our bouncy bunnies and know that they are happy and comfortable. It is unusual having someone come to your home when you are not in, but I trust Catriona completely with my home and most importantly my adored pets!
Catriona has been absolutely Terrific, arriving twice a day and sharing regular updates and photos of our cat Dexter, who seemed to have a great time while we were on holidays. Waggy Wanderers have been fabulous helping walk/entertain our big fella while myself and the wife are out at work all day. You'll get a serious amount of videograhy and photos of your prized fur ball out and about on his adventures with Laura and his wee doggy pals too which is brilliant to see (few high quality snaps attached for example). Great service 👏
Laura pet sat my house rabbit for a week and was absolutely amazing. It's always scary leaving your pet with someone new for the first time (especially when they're quite sensitive and not particularly fond of people like my boy is!) but Laura was very competent and kind, and really respected his individual needs. I could tell from the daily updates she sent that he was comfortable and being looked after very well, which was so reassuring whilst I was away. She was an absolute godsend and I wouldn't hesitate to have her pet sit for me again in the future.
Laura at Waggy Wanderers Pet Care is simply amazing with our fur baby. From day one she’s worked with us to meet our dogs needs and has helped with his training hugely. Laura takes time to get to know the dogs and really does cater for individual needs. She’s also super flexible and always try’s her best to meet our schedule. I couldn’t recommend Laura more!! Added bonus that Laura shares updates/photos of the walks with us via WhatsApp and Facebook which is so lovely to see. Our dog absolutely loves his time with his Laura!
We have 2 rescue dogs that can be very nervous on walks, and Laura is great with them and they love when they go on their walks with Laura. Laura has been, and is, a fantastic dog walker. She has been walking our dog since Lunan was just 12 weeks old (initially she did call-in puppy visits and then went from solo walks to integrating Lunan into group walks which are fantastic for socialising and tiring out our little one 😊). Laura communicates regularly with photos and videos to show how our dog got on that day/ week as well as checking in each week to ensure what services we need. Laura is incredibly flexible as she has changed days, times and even looked after Lunan in the evening time when events have arisen we have needed to attend. We landed so lucky with Laura and I cannot endorse her enough. She’s diligent, flexible and above all, a lover of dogs(and animals of all types): what else do you need from a dog walker?
Highly recommended. Friendly, professional service and the cats love her. Laura looked after our cats for a week, and we returned to two very chilled and happy cats, she even won over our male cat who can be very aloof with strangers! Laura sent us regular updates and even took care of watering the plants etc, we’ll definitely be using waggy wanderers again.

My puppy goes to daycare at carefree Canines and he loves it. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and happy to help with anything. I had a great experience getting a new harness and lead for my pup, it was fitted in store and I got to try a little walk outside to get a feel for it before buying. I always recommend to everyone to use carefree.

In my experience, the owner, Jane, and staff at Cranstoun Kennel are knowledgeable and loving towards the dogs in their care. They handle special requests very well and are friendly and helpful to their customers. I have boarded my dogs there for both short and long trips, and I always feel that my dogs are in good, loving hands. The owners live on-site and keep a watchful eye on things. The facility is kept very clean and neat, and the kennel is always prepared for my dog so that the drop-off process is quick and smooth. I've recommended Cranstoun Kennel to many of my friends; they are open all year round with radiant heat to keep your dogs toasty warm in winter and soft Scottish breezes to cool them in summer.
Hector is happy to go off on his ‘holidays’ to Cranstoun, whilst we go on ours content in the knowledge he’s being well looked after.
These kennels have changed our lives. I thank my lucky stars that we found them. After too many years of not going on holiday. We are now travelling the world, knowing our dogs are happy and being well looked after here.

Very experienced friendly owners and staff, made in easy for us to leave our furry family in their care. Really, clean well organised kennels, with super outside areas for exercise. We will definetely use again and highly recommend trying even if your wary of leaving your dogs in someone else's care. Ours trotted in tails wagging and trotted out tails wagging after their 4 day stay. We particularly appreciate being able to specify dietary needs and medications in detail. We also appreciated the staff being able to recognise our dogs personalities and accurately describe them to us. A sure sign of a great depth of knowledge.

Outstanding dog walkers! Rosie loves going her walks with Campbells Walkies. They are so attentive and loving towards her and she is very well cared for as Rosie gets so excited when they arrive for her! When Rosie comes home she is very settled and enjoys her nap and you know she has had lots of fun and adventures with them going various different walks in the week. Communication is excellent all round and you get a photo when she is home. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND Campbells Walkies to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy professional people to walk or care for your fur baby!
Linda has worked with our dog for almost 2 years now. It has been great 2 years! The dog is ALWAYS tired when he comes back from a walk, well taken care of and we get updates when he's dropped off or when something happens, AND he comes back wearing doggy perfumes if he rolls in some nasty stuff!! (btw you can smell them down the hallway so you know what to expect when you get in). I really think he's happier to see Linda then he is seeing me after a 2 week holiday. Overall great and professional service, will always recommend Campbells Walkies to everyone :)
Linda has been walking Luna now for 3 months and I have one happy dog when she sees Linda on the days she is taken out. On returning Luna I receive a message to confirm safely home when I am at work and always a fantastic picture of what she has been up to that day with her dog walking pals. Luna has really developed positively mixing with other dogs since Linda has taken her out. I would highly recommend Linda for the way she takes care of Luna and providing great walks at different locations around Musselburgh.
Cat & Linda are such great dog walkers! Freddie always seems very tired after his lovely walks with them!! I really appreciate how flexible and helpful they can be when we have alterations in our schedule!! Freddie can be a bit anxious with people but straight away he was very happy and wanted lots of cuddles! I would highly recommend them to anyone!! Campbells Walkies are excellent and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Linda has been walking our dog Duke since he was 12 weeks old, just over a year now. She is 100% reliable, honest and trustworthy. Duke absolutely adores her and the group walks she takes him on. He comes home from his walks exhausted and happy. It's great having Linda as our dog walker and I particularly enjoy the pictures she sends every day of Duke on his walk and the text to let me know when he's home safe and sound.
If you're looking for a dog walker Campbells Walkies is the best there is! I cant recommend Linda highly enough, she's been walking our boy for around 1yr now. Georgie bouces out the door when she arrives and aboslutely loves his adventures with and all his pupper pals! He always comes back exhausted too so I know he's had the best time 🥰 She posts daily photos of what they've been up to and it's a highlight to see all the doggies having so much fun! She's also super accommodating, very reliable and fully first aid trained too so I know he's in safe hands! With Linda you get more than just a dog walker you get someone who genuinely cares and I can tell by Georgie's reaction every time he sees her he adores her too 💗
Linda has been walking Daisy for a number of months now and absolutely loves it! She can’t wait to go out and spend time with Linda and the other doggies. She always comes back nice and tired with a silly grin on her face. Receiving a post-walk photo is a great idea as I know when she’s home safe. Our dog Alfie absolutely loves Linda and goes crazy as soon as he knows it’s her at the door. Linda is so friendly and is great with the dogs, I always know he’s in safe hands and more importantly, he has ball when out. Laura has been absolutely fab. She communicates very easily about the timing of each walk, turns up promptly, and sends some lovely little videos of their adventures. The dogs are always so excited when she arrives. It's great they are getting a long off lead run for the majority of their walk with her. She's been such a gem of a find to take some pressure off when returning to work from mat leave. Couldn't recommend her enough. Thank you Laura!
We used Laura’s dog sitting service. Laura was very friendly and even popped over prior to meet the dogs which I thought was a lovely touch. Laura kept us updated and even sent us pictures. Our dogs loved Laura and were very happy. Will defo have Laura back again.

Absolutely fantastic experience leaving our dog with Lena. She calmed him down and figured out ways to keep him happy and safe, as he is a very anxious little dog when first time with new sitters. We couldn't with for a better experience. Lena also kept us updated through the day, adjusted to our crazy timeline between meetings and work. Absolutely great. No words, just everything is perfect!
Our dog had a wonderful 2 night, weekend stay with Lena. He can be a bit anxious but Lena took all our notes thoughtfully and created a relaxing environment for our Bedlington whippet. I think they had a great time together! Wouldn’t hesitate to have him stay with her again. Highly recommend :)
Lena took great care if our 11 month old pup. It was our first time leaving her and we were worried about how she'd find it but Lena did an amazing job. She shows real compassion for the dog and the family, sending many updates with thoughtful messages. We would have no hesitation recommending Lena and would definitely book her again.
Lena has watched our two little dogs many times now for a few days at a time up to a week. She has stayed at our flat a few times while watching them and is a very thoughtful house guest. Each time she takes such great care of them and sends us lots of videos and pictures (which we love!) and takes them on long walks (which they love!). We can tell she adores them and treats them so well, which is important for us while we’re away from them. I definitely recommend trusting Lena with your little one(s)!
We’re absolutely delighted with the care that Lena gave to our 15 month old pup, Pascal and our cat, Midnight while staying with them in our house this past weekend. We were nervous about leaving them, especially Pascal as he can be quite anxious when we’re not around and he’s still young pup in training! We approached Lena due to her experience with anxious pups and her excellent reviews. It was absolutely the best decision! She really took her time to get to know us and Pascal. She asked us lots of questions about his routine and about his experience with a different sitter which hadn’t gone so well and we discussed what would help make this a really good sit. We booked a meet and great and a walk the week prior to us going so Pascal and Lena could get to know each other, so she could see how he was on the lead (we’d just introduced knew training techniques that we were keen were continued) and so we could show Lena round the house. When we left on Friday we were so confident that Pascal and Midnight were in the best hands. Lena sent us really thoughtful updates throughout the weekend which was so reassuring and we were really able to relax and have a great time away. We came home to happy pets and a tidy house - we couldn’t be happier! We won’t hesitate to book Lena again and fully recommend her!
Bandit’s first day with Lena went really well. She got him settled - chilled out, in fact - quickly. She sent lots of photos and videos to reassure me he was happy and having a good day. I’m sure Bandit will be back, Lena!
July 2024 Our Shih Tzus returned to Lena’s care this time for a 16 night stay in her home. The dogs were happy to return, greeting Lena enthusiastically! They quickly settled in while Lena took time to discuss any of their needs which may have changed since their last visit. Lena kept me updated daily with photos, videos and voice messages regarding their daily adventures. Their walks were varied and they clearly enjoyed spending time with Lena whether out and about or relaxing at home. Once again Lena went above and beyond, ensuring our dogs wellbeing and safety were taken care of. She has a real understanding of their personalities and needs. It will come as no surprise, that I would highly recommend Lena and that our dogs will return to her care again in the future.

Our two little Dachshunds loved being looked after by Lena in our home. Lena gave the dogs super walks and lots of attention, sharing this on videos to us every day, so we could see how content they were. Lena left our house very neat and tidy for our return and did every thing she could for us throughout her stay. Happy to recommend Lena to others. 😊
