I highly recommend this sit! I had a wonderful experience! Alex and Veronica were very responsive to my questions and provided all the information about the area and Jake that I needed to have a great sit. Jake is sweet and gentle. We bonded almost immediately. He is a little shy so best to let him approach you. He is very vocal which I enjoyed. He seemed to have a lot to say! He loves to cuddle and sits patiently waiting for feeding time. I really enjoyed spending time with him. He had such a personality! The apartment is located close to public transport, shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Clean, organize and comfortable! I would welcome the opportunity to see Jake again for another sit!
I’m so thankful to Karen and Peter for this opportunity to stay in their beautiful house with Guiness! Such an amazing place surrounded by forest and lakes. So you can walk among long and nice trails right to the lake and mountains. They are very kind and generous. Guinness such a cute and smart dog with a human personality. I spent unforgettable time there!

It was a joy to look after Penny. She is a smart and energetic dog. We spent time together in nature on daily walks. Negar was very caring and provided all possible amenities for a comfortable stay in her absence. Also, thanks to Negar for more information on places to find vegetarian food and other places to hang out in the downtown Austin and river area. Negar and her family have a beautiful home with a unique design that evokes an atmosphere of relaxation and comfort.
This was one of my absolutely favourite housesits and I cannot recommend it highly enough! Thais welcomed me warmly into her cosy home and printed all the information I might need and also showed me where everything is and I could contact her if I had any questions. Dora is a beautiful, sweet and independent lady who, despite her age, is quite active and enjoys to play a bit and will let her pet you and show you affection in her way. Dora particularly loves spending time with you outside - and you are spoiled for choice there! Thais's house has a garden to the back where you can watch all sorts of birds and enjoy the sunshine in the morning and also a garden (and a pond!) in front of the house where you have extensive views towards the Trossachs and different hills and can sunbathe in the afternoon and evening. During my sit, the flowers in the garden were in full bloom and the waterlilies in the pond were on the verge of blooming and I loved sitting outside with a cuppa and Dora. There are also many wonderful walks and pretty villages and towns a short drive away and Thornhill itself is a lovely place to be, with a lovely circular walk around the village, a pub with great food and a well stocked shop. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and getting to know Dora and Thais and I would love to be back again!
Bev, Paul, Benny & Franklin provided us with a wonderful house sit in the beautiful location of Sooke. The guide provided to us was comprehensive, accurate & easy to follow. Benny & Franklin were so willing to share their friendship. Benny also invited us to join him in the old golf course swamp just so he could go to enjoy the dog wash when he got out! Our stay here was rewarding with great neighbours, easy access to all facilities & the Galloping Goose shared trail was a delight to experience. Thanking the four of you for giving us the opportunity to pet & house sit.
