Lovely hounds in a beautiful home in a great neighbourhood of a wonderful city. Chris is a kind and generous host.
I had a very pleasant experience staying with Brit. Right from the start, her friendly and welcoming nature made me feel at home. It's large and well-designed house, with an impressive collection of books that any book lover would enjoy. The guest room was well-prepared, which I found very thoughtful. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Brit's cat, Pippin, is very calm and affectionate. He often joined me on the couch, which was really nice! The neighborhood is peaceful and safe and everything you might need is conveniently nearby. I'm looking forward to the chance to return. It was a very enjoyable experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Thank you Brit!
I house sat for Jessica & Patrick for a little bit more than a week, along with their lovely fur babies Emma and Henry, who I quickly became best friends with. Both were so affectionate and greeted me at the door each time I came home. Be prepared for the cutest little jumping/cuddling attacks from Emma whenever you lay down - she has so much love/kisses to give, it‘s absolutely heart-warming! Henry was my perfect morning alarm, each time it felt like he was singing a good-morning song for me *meoooow*. When it comes to cuddling-time, Emma can get a little bit jealous over Henry, but most of the time we‘ve all together managed to lay on the same couch to watch some Netflix in the evenings. Jessica‘s and Patrick‘s house is beautiful and super clean, you wouldn‘t even recognize that two pets live here. Besides, it‘s a peaceful place to work from home with a great desk setup - but as the WiFi even worked in their lovely green garden PLUS I was lucky enough to enjoy a lot of sunshine during my stay - I mostly spent my working hours outside. There‘s also a big park/field just a few minutes walking distance away, where you can enjoy wonderful walks with Emma. I sometimes enjoyed brunch/lunch at the surrounding restaurants & cafés - it truly felt like a holiday! I’d love to come back to Emma & Henry one day <3
What a pleasant dog Loki is. He is very gentle and responsive. The neighborhood is well situated for dog walks and Loki is a pleasure to take outside. Morgan and Rob make it so easy to stay. The house is warm and welcoming. I really enjoy the Bishop Arts District. I would sit Loki again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our house sit in Kingsbridge. Fantastic location for walks and beautiful coastline with lots of different towns and beaches to explore. The welcome pack was very detailed which allowed us to understand the dogs and take care of them easily. Bruno, Rocket and Stella were really well behaved, love getting out for long walks, great on the lead and also great fun. There are plenty of grounds around the house for walks and to let the dogs out. Chickens were easy to care for and had a couple of eggs each day. If we had any questions during the stay, Kamilla responded promptly and kept in contact when needed. Overall, a fantastic stay and would not hesitate to go back.
Non was super easy to communicate with, right from the start and we stayed in touch before the sit which made things nice and easy and obviously all throughout the sit too. We briefly crossed paths as we arrived which was lovely. Gracie Kelly is such a wee cutie, who loves her foil ball like no other. She’s really good at sitting on the cat tower hitting it back to you to throw over and over. We played this basically every day. She also enjoys her wind up rat toy a lot. She snoozes a lot and liked to be in the office with Johnathan when he was doing things on the laptop. Some nights she would join us on the couch for cuddles. She’ll let you know when she’s had enough, and lay in her radiator bed. She’s really easy to care for, just keeping the cookies topped up, water fresh and keeping her litter boxes as clean as possible. Fort William is a lovely little township - we were lucky here as we have have a sibling in town so it was nice to spend time together. It was wet for over half our stay so we didn’t do too much exploring. Cow Hill behind the house is lovely for some nature walks, so is a stroll along the Loch. Everyone is super lovely in all the shops too. We mostly walked which was about 35 mins down the hill and 40+ back up the hill. If you have a car a day trip down to Oban is lovely and other places too. There’s access to a Tesco express, large Morrinsons, Lidl, Aldi and M&S Food. Thank you for having us for our longest sit yet Tach and Johnathan
