Super nice sitters and extremely flexible. Really enjoyed their company and I only regret that I was too frazzled to chat with them more and get to know them!
Kept the house super clean, pets loved them. Dog especially.
Had a little problem with my new kitten not meshing well with the older cats (which was not too surprising since cats can be territorial). Pennee was very patient and gave me constant updates and tips. And the older cat was much more calm when I came home. Highly recommend and welcome back anytime!

Carole
Looking after sweet Henry in Carole’s beautiful, spacious home was a real treat. Carole was a kind, organized, wonderful host; she provided a detailed welcome guide, gave me a thorough walk-through of her very clean and tidy home, and set me up for a successful, pleasant sit. Throughout the sit, she was easy to communicate with and was quick to respond to my questions.

Henry is indeed a sweet, gentle, cat who is doesn’t let much faze her. In fact, she is probably one of the least skittish cats I’ve ever met. Carole’s prediction that it wouldn’t take long before Henry would be my best buddy was accurate: on the first day I was charmed to turn around and find that Henry had followed me from room to room. At night Henry would follow me upstairs and curl up by the bed. Although she had a deep craving to be outdoors during the day, she also relished lounging and dozing while enjoying pets and chin scratches. She had an adorable way of curling and stretching out her paws while I was petting her which let me know she was in kitty cat bliss.

Carole’s house had all the charm and quality workmanship of an older home with the conveniences and comforts of a modern one. I felt like I was living in luxury when I used her huge kitchen island to prepare my meals. It was a pleasure to be able to take morning walks in the quiet, leafy neighborhood, filled with classically designed, unique, well maintained homes.

The location of Carole’s home hits that sweet spot where you can have the peace and quiet of a suburban neighborhood with easy access to groceries and restaurants as well as an easy trip into DC. It’s a gem.

This was a top-notch sitting experience. I highly recommend it, and would feel very fortunate to be able to sit here again.

Natasha
We absolutely loved our Welsh sit near the coast. Noyadd Trefawr is a treasured treasure, and Quentin and Natasha are doing a fantastic job restoring this fabulous Elizabethan mansion. It took us a few days to work out where everything was in the house - it’s so big!
It’s ideally situated for adventures or peace and quiet, a fifteen minute walk takes you to a view of the sea, and the beautiful Welsh coast path, with its many stunning beaches and coves strung out along it is easily accessible after a fifteen minute drive or so.
The pretty town of Cardigan is nearby and we loved the small size, the river rushing by and plenty of independent shops to browse.
The chickens were sociable and entertaining, and we so enjoyed walking through the grounds and around the lake to feed them in the mornings, spotting various wildlife along the way.
The silence and tranquility is really something special- we had the best sleep we have ever had on a sit, wonderfully comfortable bed, and our own upstairs sitting room as well as the use of the one downstairs with the wood burner.
Chumley is a sweet, good natured and very furry old gentleman, who loves a lap and a cuddle and is good at communicating what he wants. He mainly stays around the house, but does venture out for a short while most days. Did we mention he’s very furry?!
Quentin and Natasha kindly provided us with all the information we needed for our stay with maps, recommendations for days out, places to eat, great walks etc and welcomed us very warmly with a meal the evening before they left. Everything was super clean, tidy and organised and in amazingly beautiful taste, all contributing to a perfect and idyllic stay.
Thank you so very much Natasha and Quentin, a 5* sit all round!

Thanks so much, Lara! It was an absolute joy to look after Daisy and Wilson. They're so loving and sweet and made the best hosts! They're super cute and really easy to look after - very chilled and content duo. The home is so beautiful, full of natural light and peaceful, such a gorgeous surrounding amongst the trees! Thanks heaps for having me!

Johann
Johann and her family are lovely and kind people. They care deeply about nature and animals and are trying to make the world a better place. We very much enjoyed our 4-week stay in their old stone double-cottage in Llanfachreth. The locality is rural, so peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to a town with facilities. Johann was genuinely keen for us to enjoy the house sitting, and we did!

I had a wonderful experience caring for Carina’s home! Cupcake and Iggy are sweet, low-key kitties, who love snuggles and chasing their feather wand toy. Her house is beautiful and comfortable, and located in a fantastic neighborhood close to the beach. Our communication was clear and easeful. I would be happy to return anytime.
