I loved house sitting for these darlings! Millie is hilarious, penley reminds me of Mr Peabody but he is the sweetest little guy. Manny is just incredible. He was a little shy at first but once I took him on a couple of walks a day he became my best friend. Louie the cat is super cool. He's a tiny little hunter and loves so attention when he's done eating. The house is in a fantastic neighborhood quick easy transit anywhere in downtown, Northeast and Southeast Portland. The neighborhood itself is beautiful to walk in with tree covered streets and lovely vintage sidewalks. The house is a joy beautifully curated and cozy as can be. I had a great time and would sit for this family anytime.
Harriet was a very friendly and kind host. Her home was very accommodating, comfortable and safe. Autumn is a gorgeous little cat that is very easy to care for and great company. She loves a good pat and play and will come sleep with you if your let her. I would be happy to care for Autumn again and would recommend Harriet’s pet sit to anyone.

This stay was such a wonderful experience. The property and home are stunning with views down to the valley. But all of the animals were a blast to care for. The pups are little love bugs and got along well with our golden. The cats each came with their own personality, but all friendly and wanted some love. Calvin the kitten is by far the most interesting cat I have sat for as he is confident, curious and thinks he part dog. The fresh eggs from the chickens everyday were lovely and my son had a blast caring for them. We enjoyed fresh fruit from the cherry tree and raspberry bush and the evening breeze was a relief after the warm sunny days. Truly a special place to call home for a week and the owners were wonderful as well. A welcoming place and one that we hope to maybe sit for again some day.
This was our first experience with TrustedHouseSitters and it couldn't have been better than this. We loved everything: Thay's and Barbara's sweetness, their cats, the places we've visited, the food and the weather. Everything was perfect and therefore we would do this experience again and again and again! It was an exciting adventure and it was all possible thanks to these amazing girls!!
