Fabulous housesit in every way. Peter and Suzi were really easy to get on with, very friendly and welcoming, and Suzi made us a lovely meal on our first evening. Their home is beautiful – very spacious and comfortable, in a location with a view over rolling hills and nearby farms. And then of course, there was Mr Ben, and Dusty the cat. Both great characters. There are two pleasant walks for Ben straight out of the house. He does run off in the woods, but always comes back – you just need to shout and wait (not too long – longest time he disappeared was 10 minutes). We took him everywhere with us and explored several of the nearby bastide villages and the market in Saint Antonin. He pulls a little on the lead, but it’s not a problem. He’s friendly with dogs and people and we never took him out without someone falling for his charms! Dusty is an outdoor cat, but will allow the occasional cuddle. He always joined us on the last (pitch black) walk of the day, pootling along behind Ben and doing kamikaze rolls at our feet. We loved this sit and would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.
Kristin and Richards pets were a joy to look after! The cats all had their own personalities which was fun to be around and Luna the lab was just so easy to walk. She came everywhere with us! The house is stunning and in a lovely area right next to Richmond Park and so well connected to other areas in London. I'd definitely sit for them again :)
I had such a wonderful time here! DJ, Miles and Haley were so sweet, I spent my whole time here with them! The house and backyard were wonderful, but what really made it amazing was how loving and welcoming these sweet pups are! They have a lot of love to give, and it was a fantastic experience and I’d love to keep them company again anytime! Todd and Lauren are wonderful hosts with a beautiful home, I’d come back anytime they need!
Our stay with Flynn was an absolute delight and we consider ourselves lucky to have met Gary, Helene, and Eloise. They are the most welcoming hosts you could imagine and we felt right at home from the first time we met them till the evening we left for the next part of our journey. Their home is spacious and comfortable, and their dog is a joy to be around. Flynn is energetic and LOVES to chase his ball. So, if you are fortunate enough to stay here, expect to have some lovely walks in the countless parks that fill their peaceful neighborhood. Be sure to follow Flynn's advice on which pubs are best; he'll lead the way and make sure you get a nice pint as a reward for taking him out. Thanks again for having us. Lots of love, Semele and Tim.
Louise is an excellent host and made us very welcome. We were provided with a tour of the area surrounding Louise's lovely home and a very comprehensive welcome guide. Tigits is a delight to care for and loves a chat and several brushes a day, he has such a sweet personality. Louise's home was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, and, in a wonderful location with fascinating local history. Communication during the sit was excellent.
