I had such a lovely time looking after Buddy for Scott and Anna. He’s such a sweetheart – while he spends a good amount of time outside, anytime he came back it was straight for cuddles! He can definitely do his own thing when you need to work, either out exploring or lounging somewhere being his adorable self, but will always curl up on you for his strokes in the evenings :) Unfortunately didn’t get to meet Anna this time but Scott was welcoming, easy-going and very understanding when I had some train delays on my way in. Their home has everything you could need and there are many wonderful walks basically on the doorstep while still just a short way to the centre of Bath. Would be happy to come back and recommend this sit to others!
On our arrival, Kirsty and Dave, a lovely and friendly couple, warmly welcomed us into their beautiful, modern, comfortable home which is right across from the beach. Their fur babies, Hervey and Pumpkin are the cutest, cuddliest and absolutely adorable sweethearts ever! They instantly melted our hearts and we had a wonderful (though short) sit with them. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Hervey Bay. Thank you both so much for choosing and allowing us to look after your precious babies. Highly recommend house sit.
Teresa warmly welcomed me into her comfortable home, providing thorough info—leaving me a swag bag of goodies & prepared for my time with her girls, plus venturing in Bowling Green & beyond. Lucy is the sweet-faced elder, a bit more discerning on accepting affection, but when she’s ready, she’ll keep your lap warm and help remind you where her food is kept. Lottie is velvety & adorable, with an almost chirp-like squeak to communicate. Quick to warm up, especially if you have her brush in hand, she’ll snooze in your lap as long as you let her. I felt very lucky to have them share lap time together a few times! Bowling Green is a bustling city too—plenty of shopping/restaurants nearby, plus the Corvette Museum, Riverview at Hobson Grove, caves and more for things to do! What a lovely stay—definitely recommend!
Sitting for Jo was a blast! Tess is such a loving and well-behaved anybody would immediately fall in love. Alfie is also a very affectionate cat that loves snuggling up on the couch, while the bunnies are super cute and just do their own thing. The house and area are extremely beautiful with tons of different hiking and food spots to discover. The people around town are very nice. And kindest of them all is Jo! Jo was wonderfully accommodating and makes great company for a conversation, we both can’t wait until we’re back in the area to sit for Jo again!
Owen is a really funny, sweet, and lovely dog, he enjoy playing and being near you. Sophie is kind, I feel really welcome in her house! The location is just a block from Western Park. I would recommend this sitting! :)
The house is very comfortable but the best part is Iggy. She is the BIGGEST love and just loves to snuggle. She is very easy to care for. She is selective with which dogs she can be reactive too, but it is quite easy to control her when we encountered another dog she wasn't crazy about. Also, I found that having treats on walks was very helpful as she is very treat motivated. And, Amanda was great, very responsive.
